Chris Hemsworth wants to do comedy

Chris Hemsworth wants to improvise more when making films.
The 31-year-old actor recently attempted to improvise in his first ever comedy, 'Vacation', and admitted although he was initially terrified about the prospect, he really enjoyed the challenge because it was so fun in comparison to his typically hard-hitting roles.
He said: "I haven't been that nervous in a long time,
"But very quickly I realised, this is fun. There was no ego. Every day we'd be on set, laughing. I'm like, 'Are you kidding me? Why wouldn't I do more of this?' "
The hunk - who is known for his roles in 'Thor', 'Avengers Assemble' and 'Snow White and the Huntsman' - revealed he is also hoping to star in some romance movies in the future because he doesn't want to be typecast as a violent character.
Speaking about the 2004 film 'The Notebook', he said: "It was solid. I need to do a romance, something where I'm not swinging a weapon and beating someone up."
The father of three - who has two-year-old daughter India, and nine-month-old twins Tristan and Sasha with his wife Elsa Pataky - also admitted despite the fact he often plays the hero, he never takes his work home with him.
Talking about his advice for other actors, he America's told GQ magazine: "Don't bring it home. Don't even bring it to the makeup trailer."

Rebel Wilson ‘tasted a lot’ of Ben Stiller filming Night At The Museum

Rebel Wilson "tasted a lot" of Ben Stiller when they filmed 'Night At The Museum: Secret of the Tomb' together.
The Australian actress had to kiss Ben's alter ego, Neanderthal Laa, in the upcoming comedy film and claims his lips tasted odd.
Speaking at a press conference to promote the film in London today (15.12.14), she told BANG Showbiz: "I tasted a lot of Ben Stiller. He tasted a lot like rubbing alcohol.
She jokingly added: "He was very precious about our kissing, it was quite romantic and passionate."
Stiller - who as well as playing Laa also reprises his role as museum night guard Larry Daley for a third time - defended the taste of his lips, saying: "I did have prosthetics lips on."
Wilson also claimed they were lots of smooching scenes that they couldn't use in the final cut because they were too graphic.
She quipped: "There was some racier stuff between me and Laa which had to be cut. If an R-rated version is released then (you'll see it). I loved Laa's muscles which you don't get to see when Ben plays Larry, because he's wearing a jacket all the time but when he plays Laa it's like, arms out, they're just there."
Stiller again interjected, saying: "We were trying to push the boundaries of the movie ... (Those muscles) were when I was in character training six hours a day..."
Other cast members at the event included Owen Wilson, Sir Ben Kingsley, Dan Stevens and the film's director Shawn Levy.
'Night At The Museum: Secret of the Tomb' is in cinemas from December 19.

Amy Adams: Don’t expect catfight in Batman V Superman

Amy Adams says fans shouldn't expect a catfight between Lois Lane and Wonder Woman in 'Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice'.
The actress will reprise the character of Lois after assuming the role in 2013's 'Man of Steel', but insists there won't be tension between the female protagonists vying for the attention of Superman because it would be too obvious.
She said: "They always think that if you put in another woman and automatically ... 'Catfight!' No, I think that's a male fantasy thing. I don't think that's reality."
Gal Gadot has joined the project - which is set to be released on March 25, 2016 - as Wonder Woman after appearing in several 'Fast & Furious' movies, and Amy, 40, said she was relieved to find out the star would be involved in the movie because she didn't want to be the only female working on the film.
She added: "It's exciting to get to bring in all these other characters and I was really excited that Gal was involved, because it was a nice to have another girl on set, even if we don't work together a lot, it was nice to have her there."
However, the 'Her' actress admitted she is unsure about the plots for future films, 'Justice League Part One' and 'Justice League Part Two', in which the pair may argue.
She added to Coming Soon: "I don't know how it will turn out, if we're going to be competition, but we are not in this, I can safely say, and we're not in real life. She's just the coolest girl ever."

Mark Hamill previews Star Wars: The Force Awakens

'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' is "about the new generation of characters".
Mark Hamill, 63, starred as Luke Skywalker in the 1977 film 'Star Wars' and its two sequels, 'The Empire Strikes Back' and 'Return of the Jedi' - and he's given fans of the franchise an idea of what they can expect from the much-anticipated new film.
He said: "This is about the new generation of characters; I think that's the most important thing. It's the opening act of a whole new approach to the storytelling.
"So I never thought that the stories would be - first of all, I never thought I'd be involved in it again, period. And then when George Lucas said that they wanted to do more, I rightly assumed that it wouldn't be our story, because we had a beginning, a middle, and an end."
Mark appeared in the original film alongside the likes of Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher, both of whom are returning for the new movie, and he admits to being nervous about returning to 'Star Wars'.
He told Yahoo Movies: "I'm one of those people where I just think, 'Keep me out of it. I'll ruin it, I'm sure!' I'll show up and just ruin the whole thing."

Sony hackers get hold of Spectre script

The script for the new James Bond film has been leaked by Sony hackers.
Specific details of the eagerly awaited new film 'Spectre' had been a closely-guarded secret, however hackers have managed to get their hands on a draft script of the movie, which will see Daniel Craig reprise the role of the secret agent.
A statement on the official 007 website read: "Eon Productions, the producers of the James Bond films, learned this morning that an early version of the screenplay for the new Bond film Spectre is amongst the material stolen and illegally made public by hackers who infiltrated the Sony Pictures Entertainment computer system."
The statement added: "It may not (in whole or in part) be published, reproduced, disseminated or otherwise utilised by anyone who obtains a copy of it."
Last week, leaked emails revealed that the film is already over budget by around $50 million.
The budget for 'Spectre' was originally "in the mid $300 millions", but has been reduced to $250 million by the studio.
In a series of emails sent by MGM president Jonathan Glickman, he said: "We recognise that this movie needs to build on the past few films - and there are expectations we must meet for the audience. Still, we must find further cuts.
"This is not about 'nickel and diming' the production."

Harrison Ford excited by Blade Runner sequel

Harrison Ford thinks the script for the 'Blade Runner' sequel is "the best" he's ever read.
The Hollywood legend starred in the 1982 original and is set to return for the much-anticipated sequel, and Ridley Scott has revealed he can't wait to reprise his role as Rick Deckard in the dystopian sci-fi sequel.
Ridley, who directed the original and has helped to write the sequel, said: "I sent him this [script] and he said, 'Wow, this is the best thing I've ever read', so it's very relevant to what happened [in] the first one."
Speaking to MTV News, the director added: "I'm not just doing a sequel with lots of action and see how far we can go with the special effects because you can't, really.
"Blade Runner kind of landed on a somehow very credible future. And it's very difficult to change that because it's been so influential with everything else."
Earlier this month, Ridley reopened the possibility of directing the 'Blade Runner' sequel.
The movie-maker previously said he won't be returning to the role for 'Blade Runner 2', but appears willing to perform a U-turn.
He said: "I don't know about not directing 'Blade Runner 2' yet."

Angelina Jolie’s acting ‘frustration’

Angelina Jolie felt "frustrated" as an actress.
The 39-year-old star - who made her directorial debut with 'The Land of Milk and Honey' in 2011 and released her second picture 'Unbroken' this year - has confessed she didn't feel, as an actress, as "connected" to films as she would have liked and is "much happier" working on movies behind the camera.
She told The Daily Telegraph Magazine: "As an actress, you learn about your character, and you understand the overall picture of any film you're working on, but there's so much you're not a part of.
"There's so many times I've felt frustrated with films I've been in, or seen them and not felt connected to them, or haven't watched them at all. I'm much happier directing."
The Oscar-winner admitted she was nervous about making the switch from actress to director but felt compelled to take on the role with 'The Land of Milk and Honey' - which focusses on the atrocities committed by the Bosnian-Serb forces during the Serbian War between 1992 and 1995 - as she felt so strongly about the topic.
Angelina - who penned the script following a trip to Bosnia as part of her ambassadorial duties for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees - said: "I was nervous another director might be less sensitive about the material, so I volunteered myself.
"But I didn't think I'd be any good at it. I just wanted to do my best."

Eddie Redmayne worried about Stephen Hawking role

Eddie Redmayne worried he wouldn't do Stephen Hawking justice when he took on the role of the physicist in 'The Theory of Everything'.
The 'Les Miserables' actor felt challenged by the part - in which he depicts the world-renowned scientist suffering various stages of motor neuron disease, ending in almost complete paralysis - and felt a great "responsibility" in telling his story.
Eddie told The Daily Telegraph magazine: "Getting Stephen's changing physicality right was very hard. But managing the fear and responsibility of playing him and doing justice to him was tough too."
However, the film's director James Marsh insists the 32-year-old star was perfect for the part and had full confidence in him from the first day of filming.
He said: "I wanted Eddie on the shortlist and once I met him I knew I wanted him to do it. There was something about the way he talked about it, something in his eyes. He understood what it was going to take in terms of preparation.
"By the end of the first day's shooting I knew it was going to work. On that day Eddie did three versions of Stephen - as an able-bodied student, walking on two sticks and lastly in a wheelchair."
Eddie added that James' enthusiasm helped inspire confidence in him.
He said: "The first day was trial by fire. It was terrifying, but at the end of the day I'd learnt that James had faith in me, even when I didn't have faith in myself."

Felicity Jones was unprepared

Felicity Jones was ill-prepared on the first day of filming 'The Theory of Everything'.
The 31-year-old star appears alongside Eddie Redmayne in the new biopic of Professor Stephen Hawking - in which she plays his ex-wife Jane Wilde and he appears as the acclaimed theoretical physicist - and Felicity conceded she needed the help of her co-star to navigate her way through the first day on set.
Reflecting on her experience of working with Eddie, Felicity said: "On the first day, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. I was just hoping for the best and hopefully that nobody thinks I'm a fool.
"But we really bonded with each other, you know, and made this a very collaborative process. And I absolutely love working with Eddie, he's such a divine, divine human being."
Felicity was astonished by how talented her co-star was, particularly because he is so humble about his abilities.
She told BANG Showbiz: "[Eddie's transformation] was so effortless, it felt like I was speaking to Stephen, which is wonderful. He has far too much humility, which I'm going to have to shake out of him. No, one day he'll realise how incredible he is. But he's always focused on doing the best he could, and that's what makes him a great actor."
