Eddie Redmayne euphoric over role

Eddie Redmayne was euphoric when he got to play Stephen Hawking in the new biopic 'The Theory of Everything'.
The 32-year-old actor did plenty of research prior to the first day of filming for the new movie, in which he stars as the celebrated physicist alongside Felicity Jones, but Eddie concedes much of his on-set self-confidence was nothing more than bravado.
He said: "Like any job interview, you persuade the people in charge that you 're really confident - that you know what you're doing. And then you get it, and there's a moment of static euphoria."
Eddie also revealed he had the opportunity to meet the theoretical physicist prior to filming, and was surprised to learn that he's an easygoing character.
He recalled to BANG Showbiz: "I met Professor Hawking five days before we started filming. I'd spent about four months researching him and when he arrived, the first thing he said was, 'Call me Stephen'. I'd was calling him the professor before then."
Eddie and Felicity, 31, play the roles of Stephen and Jane Wilde in the new film, which centres on their relationship and marriage from 1965 to 1995.

Jennifer Aniston wants to be a serious actress

Jennifer Aniston wants to be recognised as a "serious actress".
The 'Cake' star is reportedly desperate to be nominated for an Oscar for her role in the movie at the upcoming awards ceremony in Los Angeles in February and no longer wants to be seen as 'America's Sweetheart.'
A source close to the 45-year-old beauty, who is engaged to 'The Leftovers' star Justin Theroux, said: "Winning an Oscar has been a dream of Jen's, and she knew 'Cake' could finally be her ticket."
The former 'Friends' star - who has been nominated for Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe awards for her role in the movie - has revamped her wardrobe as awards season approaches.
The insider said: "Jen is buzzing. Even a nomination would be rewarding for her on so many levels!
"She's truly on the campaign trail now, which is why she's been buttoning up, choosing demure outfits and even wearing glasses."
The actress underwent a make-under to help her embody the role of Claire Simmons, a woman who suffers a car crash that leaves her with scars all over her body, in the film, AND hopes it will help her take her career in a new direction.
The source told America's OK! magazine: "Jen was initially nervous about looking so raw on camera. But after really digging into the character, she had a lot of fun."

SPECTRE has exceeded its budget, leaked emails show

'SPECTRE' is already over budget by around $50 million.
Leaked documents from the recent cyber attack on Sony have revealed some of the financial details of the much-anticipated new James Bond film, showing that the budget was originally "in the mid $300 millions", but has been reduced to $250 million by the studio.
In a series of emails sent by MGM president Jonathan Glickman, he says: "We recognise that this movie needs to build on the past few films - and there are expectations we must meet for the audience. Still, we must find further cuts.
"This is not about 'nickel and diming' the production."
Barbara Broccoli, the producer, responded angrily to the messages.
What's more, a leaked email from Sony's Amy Pascal revealed her disappointment over 'SPECTRE'.
She wrote: "It's insane and you know with no script this movie is gonna go over budget."
The emails also reveal 'SPECTRE' director Sam Mendes was keen to secure the services of 'Sherlock' star Andrew Scott for the role of Denbigh in the film.
Chiwetel Ejiofor from '12 Years a Slave' was initially cast in the role, but it was decided his salary demands were too high.

Trading cards reveal names of Star Wars characters

The names of some of the characters in 'Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens' have been revealed in a set of trading cards.
JJ Abrams, the director of the new film, confirmed the names via some old school trading cards given to Entertainment Weekly, revealing John Boyega's on-screen character is called Finn, while Daisy Ridley's character is called Rey.
What's more, Oscar Isaac's character in the new film is known as Poe Dameron, while the droid seen in the recent trailer is known as BB:8.
The trading cards also feature a Sith warrior named Kylo Ren.
The eagerly awaited 'Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens' is set around 30 years after 'Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi' and will feature key members of the original cast: Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.
The film is to be released in cinemas on December 18, 2015 and a recent trailer has served to heighten expectations around the movie.
However, George Lucas, the creator of the space opera, recently admitted he hasn't seen the trailer.
The 70-year-old film-maker sold his franchise to Disney in 2012 and revealed has yet to catch up on the newest instalment.
Asked about the trailer, George explained: "I don't know anything about it. I haven't seen it yet."

Arnold Schwarzenegger: The Expendables 3 is ultimate action film

Arnold Schwarzenegger claims 'The Expendables 3' is the "ultimate action film".
The 67-year-old actor features as Trench in the star-studded movie and gushed about the film for being packed with action and a high calibre cast.
He said: "This is the ultimate action film, but it also has a great emotional rollercoaster ride and interesting characters. Sly [Sylvester Stallone] really knows how to tell a story and how to use each actor's talents in the best possible way."
The movie - which is out on DVD now - portrays the tension between Barney (Sylvester Stallone) and his team against Expendables co-founder Conrad Stonebanks (Mel Gibson) who is determined to take down the team of alpha males, which also features Arnold's character.
Despite the film featuring a whole host of iconic actors, 'The Terminator' star revealed there weren't any egos on set, meaning they didn't have squabbles over characters or scripts.
He explained: "There was no fighting about who had more lines or more close ups. It's really an ensemble piece that allows everyone to shine. We all have our own talents and to bring them all together was fantastic."
However, the former Governor or California said there was a competitive spirit between the actors while on set because they wanted to make the best possible movie.
The star - who rose to fame as Mr Universe - added: "There was a little bit of competition maybe, because everyone wanted to do their best and I think that was really good for the film."

Seth Rogen thanks Amy Pascal for The Interview

Seth Rogen has thanked Amy Pascal for "having the balls" to make 'The Interview'.
The 32-year-old actor praised the Sony Pictures president for agreeing to make the controversial film in the wake of the studio's hacking scandal.
Arriving at a screening of the film in Los Angeles, he said: "Before we start we just want to thank Amy Pascal for having the balls to make this movie!"
'The Interview' sees James Franco as presenter Dave Skylark and Rogen as his producer Aaron Rapoport and upon learning North Korean leader Kim Jong Un (Randall Park) is a big fan of their show 'Skylark Tonight', they manage to arrange an interview with the dictator.
However, as they prepare themselves for their trip to the North Korean capital of Pyongyang they are recruited by the C.I.A and tasked with assassinating Kim Jong Un.
Rogen's kind words for Pascal came after suggestions the studio may have been hacked by the North Korean's because of the subject of the new film.
Charles Chun - who plays General Jong in the movie - has no doubts about the origin of the hack, but thinks it may have benefited the film by making people more aware of it.
He shared: "I think we know who did this ... And I think the film is going to do really well at the box office because it's so funny."

Angelina Jolie says there’s ‘something about’ Jack O’Connell

Angelina Jolie "couldn't stop smiling" when she was casting Jack O'Connell in 'Unbroken'.
The 39-year-old star cast the British actor as Louis Zamperini, an Olympic runner who was tortured in a Japanese prisoner of war camp, and Angelina admits it didn't take long to decide that Jack, 24, was the right man for the part of the inspirational figure, who died earlier this year at the age of 97.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Louis is this extraordinarily witty, charming, full of fire, imperfect man. So casting Louis was such a difficult task [but] such an exciting thing.
"He had to be this person that you felt the audience would root for. Someone who has a very strong spirit and someone who is soulful enough to love and respect Louis to understand the growth of the man.
"So, I met Jack and couldn't stop smiling through the whole meeting. There was something about the way he carried himself, I knew he was Louis."
Jack, who's previously starred in 'This Is England', said he feels proud to have played such a revered man.
He said: "I just feel completely honoured by the fact I was able to immortalise someone who's arguably lived three or four lifetimes."
