Felipe Alviar-Baquero like a dad to Apprentice candidates

Felipe Alviar-Baquero felt like a father to the other 'The Apprentice' candidates.
The father-of-two was fired from the BBC One business programme in last night's episode (03.12.14) and admitted some of the other hopefuls may struggle now he has left the process.
He said: "I am a dad and I have two kids, and I was the dad of the house. I tried to live with everybody, I got on with everybody, cooking more-or-less every night for everyone in the house. As you may have seen, I helped the guys with things they didn't know how to do."
The 33-year-old solicitor was frequently shown doing up fellow candidate, Solomon Akhtar's tie during the series, and joked the 22 year old still doesn't know how to do it for himself, so might be stuck now that Felipe has left the show.
He added: "To be honest I don't think that he's worn a tie since then, or he must have kept all the ties that I have done for him since I left."
The upbeat entrepreneur found himself in the boardroom after Team Tenacity lost out on a task in which they needed to purchase a selection of items for the lowest possible cost, and was fired over fellow candidates Daniel Lassman and Katie Bulmer-Cooke.
Although the Colombian-born dad was disappointed to leave the process, he revealed his daughter Isabella may be more upset about his departure as she has loved seeing him on television.
He said: "I've got a seven-year-old Isabella, and four-year-old Sophia, and Isabella watches every single episode with me. She says that Lord Sugar is too mean with me and is scary, and they have a Lord Sugar dance that they do every week, they call it the fire dance. Their dad is on the TV and they have enjoyed the experience."

John Altman teases ‘pretty evil’ EastEnders plot

John Altman has teased a "pretty evil" 'EastEnders' storyline involving his character Nick Cotton.
The 62-year-old actor has appeared in the soap on-and-off since 1985, and hinted at more despicable behaviour from his criminal character Nasty Nick.
In a previous storyline, he attempted to poison his on screen mum Dot Cotton (June Brown) and suggested his upcoming plot will be equally horrible.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, he said: "He's going to be just as nasty [as the plot to kill Dot]. It's pretty evil, pretty awful. A bit of a shocker but I can't say what it is."
Nasty Nick returned to screens last month after five years away from the BBC One show - a move which shocked Albert Square residents who had been led to believe he was dead.
However, now that the bad boy is back in Walford, John said he has a hectic schedule ahead of him due to the plot in which he is involved.
He added: "They offered me a pretty big storyline. I didn't think it would make any difference going back one more time in terms of being typecast."
Upon rejoining the soap, Altman has observed it has evolved in a huge way since he originally joined the cast almost 30 years ago
Talking about the changes to 'EastEnders', he said: "It's so much bigger. It's a huge operation. It's hard work and it takes over your life when you've got a big storyline."
Meanwhile, Altman has released a Christmas single, a festive rendition of Iggy Pop's 'Real Wild Child (Wild One)', with all-girl rock band JOANovARC.
The single is out now and can be downloaded from iTunes.

Freema Agyeman doesn’t watch Doctor Who

Freema Agyeman doesn't watch 'Doctor Who'.
The British actress starred as Martha Jones in the BBC One sci-fi series from 2006 to 2010, but has confessed she doesn't bother to follow the fortunes of the Time Lord anymore.
The 35-year-old star told BANG Showbiz: "I actually don't watch 'Doctor Who'. I'm one of those actresses who doesn't watch a lot of TV, to be honest. I mean, I loved spending time on the show, but I probably haven't watched it for the last five years."
Although she doesn't watch the programme - in which Peter Capaldi now stars as the Twelfth Doctor - Freema is still very proud to be associated with the long-running series.
She said: "I love the concepts of the show and I still go to conventions and stuff. People ask me things about the show but they're shocked to learn that I don't know much about it. I watched the years before and after I was on it, but I haven't continued watching it."
Freema - who is currently starring in new audio-drama 'Six Degrees of Assassination' - insists a surprising number of actors don't watch TV.
She explained: "I'm like a lot of actors and actresses - I don't watch a lot of TV. And I used to feel really guilty about that until I spoke to other actors about it and they said they don't even own a TV."
'Six Degrees of Assassination' is now available on Audible.co.uk - sign up to Audible and download the full series for free: www.audible.co.uk/assassination.

Nadia Forde rules out Jake romance

Nadia Forde says there is no chance of her having a romance with Jake Quickenden.
The 25-year-old model became close with the former 'X Factor' star while appearing on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!', but says they will only ever be good friends, as she can't imagine ever embarking on a relationship with the hunk.
Speaking on 'Good Morning Britain', she said: "Myself and Jake are just friends, he flirts with everyone, it's not just me ... We're great friends, of course we're going to stay in touch, I can't wait to see him when he gets out."
The beauty - who was voted off the reality show in scenes shown on the episode last night (02.12.14) - believes her pal could be crowned king of the jungle when it culminates this weekend, despite being one of the lesser known stars on the programme.
She said: "I think he could go all the way, I think he could win this absolutely and I'm behind him 100 percent ... But no there is no romance ... No romance, no no no, no romance!"
Nadia - who has previously been romantically linked to professional golfer Rory McIlroy - added she knew her time on the show was up as soon as she woke up on the day.
She explained: "I had a gut feeling when I woke up this morning in my hammock, 'I think I'm going today' so I actually ran down to the waterfall shower before everyone else to get myself together and I just had an instinct and I was kind of ready ... I would prefer to watch Kendra have arguments than me have arguments."

Callum to ’cause havoc’ for Coronation Street’s David Platt

Sean Ward wants to "cause havoc" with David Platt in 'Coronation Street'.
The soap newcomer - who plays Kylie Platt's bad boy ex, Callum Logan - is determined to make life difficult for the character, portrayed by Jack P. Shepherd, and admits he is doing everything in his power to ruin David's life.
The actor said: "I'm a massive thorn in David's life and I'll be gently tweaking it back and forth, widening the wound."
Viewers have already seen the character's evil streak, supplying Kylie (Paula Lane) - who is now married to David - with illegal drugs, and tensions are now set to boil over in an explosive storyline after Christmas in which Callum will fight for custody of his son, Max, with Kylie.
Sean told The Sun newspaper: "I watched him growing up on my screen at home and I've seen him cause havoc for the people on the Street, so I'm just thinking: 'This is for all the people you've done over!' "
Talking about getting into character, the star - who joined the soap earlier this year after impressing producers in BBC One series 'Our Girl' - admitted he has had to start going to the gym in order to look the part.
He joked: "You can't have a skinny bad boy. I've been waiting for a job to give me the kick up the bottom to get in the gym, and this is it."
However, the 27-year-old actor quipped he needs to get into shape quickly so he doesn't get recognised in the gym without having built up some impressive muscles.
He added: "I need to get in now before I start getting recognised too much, so that when I'm pushing these really small weights, no one knows me!"

Charlie Sims quits The Only Way Is Essex

Charlies Sims has quit 'The Only Way Is Essex'.
The deli owner has reportedly decided to take some time out from the popular ITVBe reality show to concentrate on his new business.
His former co-star Billie Faiers confirmed the news, as she explained how the star was "unhappy" in his current role on the show.
She shared: "If you're not happy then there's no point in staying somewhere. That's why Charlie left, he needed to take the time away to concentrate on other things."
Billie, 24, also noted how Charlie might return to the reality show - which also features his on-off girlfriend Ferne McCann, also 24, and his sister Chloe Sims, 32 - although she admitted that the break had been good for the young man.
She told OK! online: "He's left but I think the door has been left open for him. It's really benefited him and Ferne's relationship too."
This news comes shortly after Tom Pearce announced that he would no longer be taking part in 'TOWIE' or its festive special 'The Only Way Is EsseXmas' because he wanted to focus on his career outside of television.
He wrote on Twitter: "I was not dropped from Xmas special. I quit to concentrate on my job. (sic)"

Nadia Forde voted off I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!

Nadia Forde has been voted out of the 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' jungle.
The 25-year-old model - who previously dated golf star Rory McIlroy - was the second celebrity to be voted off the ITV reality series in last night's (02.12.14) show.
Speaking following her eviction from the Australian camp, she said: "I'm feeling amazing, I can't wait to ring my family.
"I didn't know what to expect but it's been incredible.
"It's made me appreciate things on the outside so much more. I can't wait to see my family and get back to Ireland."
The brunette beauty's departure came after campmate and former 'X Factor' contestant Jake Quickenden appeared to hint he'd grown fond of her, but she insists their relationship is like that of siblings.
She said: "Jake is such sweetheart and he is one of the strongest guys in there. Everyone is on top of each other in there, he's like a brother.
"We love each other to bits but he's a flirt. Don't think it's just me. He's such a loving, caring guy, he does it to everyone."
Speaking the evening before Nadia's eviction, Jake suggested hearing news he'd had a girlfriend back home before entering the jungle had made her back off.
He said: "We haven't spoken as much since we got word about my girlfriend. You automatically switched off."
Nadia responded saying that she's a "girl's girl" who doesn't "f**k people over", prompting Jake to insist he wouldn't make a move on anyone while in the jungle.
Meanwhile, former Premier League footballer Jimmy Bullard was the first celebrity to leave the show on Monday (01.12.14) after being branded a "bully".

Mike Tindall signs up for The Jump

Mike Tindall has reportedly signed up for 'The Jump'.
The retired rugby star - who is married to the Queen's granddaughter Zara Phillips - will be the first member of the Royal Family to appear on reality TV after agreeing to compete on the second series of the Channel 4 show.
The 36-year-old athlete will go up against a number of other celebrities in the ski jumping challenge but it's thought he will have had to ask his wife's family for their permission before signing up.
A source shared: "Mike is his own man but now he is so closely linked to the monarchy he must be aware of how his actions are seen by the public.
"The Jump is a bit of fun but he might be made to look silly. Last year it attracted some low-rent celebrities. It's likely to be similar this time."
The second series of 'The Jump' - which last year featured celebrities including former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Amy Childs and Simon Cowell's close friend and ex-girlfriend Sinitta - will be filmed at the ski resort of Innsbruck in Austria and producers are said to be thrilled to have persuaded Mike to take part.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "This is a real coup for Channel 4. They had to pay a lot of money but they think it's a good investment.
"Getting a member of the Royal Family - even if it is by marriage - is an amazing achievement."
'The X Factor' 2009 winner Joe McElderry fought off stiff competition from Olympian Sir Steve Redgrave and TV presenter Donal MacIntyre to be crowned winner of the first series of 'The Jump' earlier this year.

Lauren Platt: Simon and Cheryl take rows ‘too far’

'The X Factor' hopeful Lauren Platt says Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell "bicker" like brother and sister.
The 16-year-old semi-finalist claims the ITV talent show judges are constantly arguing like siblings both on and off screen.
She revealed: "Cheryl and Simon are just like brother and sister, all they do is bicker away at each other."
However, the blonde beauty insists the 'Crazy Stupid Love' hitmaker is holding her own against the 54-year-old music mogul and doesn't take "anything too seriously", even when their arguments get heated.
She said: "I have seen them both go too far with their banter but Cheryl doesn't take anything too seriously.
"She gives it to Simon just as much as he does to her, so it can work both ways."
Lauren - who is the only remaining girl in Cheryl's category - also confessed she has been inspired by the 31-year-old star's positive attitude.
She said: "She is such a strong person and her positivity has really rubbed off on me. "
Meanwhile, Lauren's fellow contestants Ben Haenow and Andrea Faustini have reportedly been banned from eating snacks such as chocolate and biscuits ahead of the final a week on Saturday.
A source shared: "They need to cut out biscuits and get to the gym.
"That isn't a suggestion, that's an order from the very top."
