Jimmy Bullard started to hallucinate about food in the 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! jungle.
The former Premier League footballer was the first celebrity to be evicted from the ITV reality series camp in Australia on Monday (01.12.14) and he's now confessed he got so hungry during his time on the show that he began having hallucinations.
He said: "I panicked and 'went into one' for ten minutes. It was totally nutty and I lost my head completely. It's crazy how mad your brain gets in there.
"I was staring at the fire. I saw pizza and a curry. I even saw blokes walk past and thought about eating them."
The 36-year-old star was one of the favourites to be crowned king of the jungle before viewers saw him lashing out at former 'X Factor' contestant Jake Quickenden, but insists the footage was edited to make the "banter" look worse than it was.
He explained: "You have a little bit of a respect thing. I wouldn't say what I said to Jake to Michael [Buerk].
"You have lines but with Jake and Foggy [Carl Fogarty] we didn't have any lines.
"We could say anything to each other and Jake will put it right when he comes out."
Jimmy also admits his friends back home in the UK have been giving him stick for not doing well in the bush tucker trials.
He confessed to The Sun newspaper: "My mate belled [phoned] me last night and I got slaughtered. There was a massive per cent of me that wanted to them but a massive per cent that didn't."
Meanwhile, Nadia Forde was the second celebrity to be voted off the show in last night's (02.12.14) episode.

'The X Factor' stars Andrea Faustini and Ben Haenow have been banned from eating biscuits.
The semi-finalists are said to have been banned from eating sweet treats such as biscuits and chocolate bars after piling on the pounds in recent weeks.
Revealing they've been put on a strict exercise regime in a bid to have them in better shape if they make it to the final, a source said: "Andrea and Ben have put on weight and it's becoming a problem.
"Andrea's always been a bit cuddly, but if he wants to be a serious pop star he needs to be in better shape.
"Ben is not exactly fat, but he's getting a bit of a belly and it's becoming harder and harder for the stylists to hide it."
Andrea is the last of Mel B's boys category while Ben is one of Simon Cowell's two over 25s and while they claim they're often very involved in choosing which songs to sing in the live shows, they've been given no choice when it comes to their new diets.
The source continued to The Sun newspaper: "We have spoken to them both and said they need to seriously think about whether they want a career in pop music.
"They need to cut out biscuits and get to the gym.
"That isn't a suggestion, that's an order from the very top."
The news comes after Italian contestant Andrea recently admitted he'd been resisting the show's attempts to get him into better shape.
He said previously: "'The X Factor' tried to put me on a diet. For three weeks I ate broccoli and grilled chicken. But I hated it. Yuk."

Chloe Sims realised Elliott Wright wasn't right for her when he partly blamed her daughter for their problems.
The 'Only Way is Essex' stars recently ended their five-month relationship and the 33-year-old beauty is adamant she won't be going back to her former lover after he claimed one reason for their break-up was that she shares a bed with her nine-year-old daughter Madison.
Chloe believes Elliott wants a stay-at-home wife who will always put him first but she's not willing to settle for a "mediocre" life.
In an interview with OK! magazine, she said: "It's over completely. Things were rocky anyway and then he spoke about my daughter, saying her sharing a bed with me didn't help our relationship, which really upset me.
"Madison is not the reason I split from Elliott, he just wasn't for me. He wants a little wifey that's going to stay at home and be happy with a mediocre life - I'm not that."
Chloe, 31, has accused Elliott, 33, of being very controlling and she claims he didn't trust her when she went out without him, making her phone him at certain times.
She said: "He tried to tell me I couldn't go on another girls' holiday and that I can go out but would have to be home at 2am or go home to him.
"On holiday, I had to FaceTime him every night to show I was in. He didn't trust me."

Pixie Lott "loves" Jake Wood's "twerking hips" on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 23-year-old singer - who is dating model Oliver Cheshire - is competing alongside the 'EastEnders' actor on BBC ballroom competition and can understand why he is a "guilty crush" for so many people.
She said: "I absolutely love Jake and his twerking hips. I love that he just goes for it and really gets into character, that's why he's done so well in his dances.
"Everyone says Jake is a bit of a guilty crush and even more people feel that way now they know he can dance. I love being around Jake - he has us all in stitches when we're together backstage."
Pixie - who is partnered by dancer Trent Whiddon on the show - has been getting high scores from the judges week-after-week and admits the hardest part of the show for her is having to say goodbye to the axed contestants.
Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: "Having nerves before the live show is all part of the experience. It's not a massive low for me because it's what's expected from a competition of this standard, but a bigger low for me has been when we lose someone each week in the competition.
"It will either be Trent and I who leave or one of our good friends, so that is the saddest part. Everyone is so close and when you return to the show the following week and someone is missing, it's really strange."

The 30-year-old actor - who plays Andy Sugden in the ITV soap opera - proposed to his girlfriend Liz Marsland over the weekend.
After dating for eight years, Kelvin finally got down on one knee during a romantic trip to Wales and his new fiancée couldn't wait to share the good news with her friends as she posted a selfie from the beach which showcased her fancy engagement ring.
On Monday (01.12.14), Liz posted a photo of the happy couple on Instagram with the caption: "So......after a million years together he finally popped the question (sic)"
While Kelvin might be enjoying his real-life romance, his on-screen character is less lucky in love.
Despite remarrying his long-time lover Katie Addyman, Andy will be left destitute after the actress who plays the blonde beauty, Sammy Winward revealed that she would be leaving 'Emmerdale' in the new year.
The 29-year-old actress has reportedly decided to quit the soap - which she has worked on for 13 years - so she can explore other acting opportunities.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "She wants to spread her wings and try theatre work and other telly. 'Emmerdale' is virtually everything she has ever known."

Jimmy Bullard is adamant he was being "tongue in cheek" when he ridiculed Jake Quickenden on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'.
The retired footballer became the first star to be evicted from the jungle reality show in scenes shown last night (02.12.14) in a shock voting result.
It is thought Jimmy's popularity with the public nosedived after he called former 'X Factor' star Jake a "lanky piece of s**t" and questioned his celebrity credentials during a heated camp conversation.
The 36-year-old sportsman appreciates it looked bad on TV but insists it was all just "banter" and he's sure his "great friend" Jake will set the record straight when he comes out of the jungle.
During an interview on 'Good Morning Britain', he said: "It was totally tongue in cheek, the way that came across on TV was totally not how it was in camp but saying that, I can be a bit of a nightmare and the best one to ask is Jake about this ... We're great friends, we are going to be for a long time, it's total banter ... He gave as good as he took as well!"
Jimmy insists he loved every minute of his time in the jungle and is pleased he became close friends with Jake and Carl Fogarty - who broke down in tears when his pal left.
Jimmy said: "What an experience, I'm so glad I came and did this. It was mad, a great bunch I was in camp with, that's what you wish for when you go in ... I loved everything about it."
Speaking about Carl's reaction to his eviction, Jimmy added: "I nearly went myself, when he went and broke down and I was like, 'Fog don't do this to me on TV!' I just totally went ... He's a great friend, I think I've got two friends there for life definitely and even the other seven, I was very close to them all and I couldn't have wished for a better bunch."

Gillian Anderson tried her hand at being a bartender while raising money for World AIDS Day last night (01.12.14).
The 'Fall' actress - who plays police detective Stella Gibson in the drama series - swapped solving crimes for dishing out cocktails to guests and making videos with fans in a gif photobooth at the W London & (RED) World AIDS Day Fundraising Party at the Wyld bar in central London.
A source told BANG Showbiz: "Gillian got right into the spirit of things. She looked to be in her element behind the bar serving cocktails and beers to guests.
"She also couldn't stop laughing as she posed for pictures with guests at the gif photobooth."
Gillian was seen serving W London's special Glitte(RED) cocktail, which is available throughout December and all proceeds go to the cause.
The 46-year-old star charged fans a minimum of £5 for charity to have a comical gif created with her and despite pulling funny faces throughout, she still managed to look looked stunning in a low-cut black top and tight-fitting black pencil skirt.
Gillian made a name for herself as FBI special agent Dana Scully in sci-fi thriller series 'The X-Files' - which ran from 1993 to 2002 - but she admitted the fundraising event was worlds apart from the set of the long-running programme.
She said: "It's a bit different to being on 'The X-Files' bit we did have a set that looked a bit like this once."
Several other stars also appeared at the event including singer Natalie Imbruglia, actor Jamie Campbell Bower and actress Jaime Winstone, who performed a DJ set at the bash.
