Charlies Sims has quit ‘The Only Way Is Essex’.
The deli owner has reportedly decided to take some time out from the popular ITVBe reality show to concentrate on his new business.
His former co-star Billie Faiers confirmed the news, as she explained how the star was "unhappy" in his current role on the show.
She shared: "If you’re not happy then there’s no point in staying somewhere. That’s why Charlie left, he needed to take the time away to concentrate on other things."
Billie, 24, also noted how Charlie might return to the reality show – which also features his on-off girlfriend Ferne McCann, also 24, and his sister Chloe Sims, 32 – although she admitted that the break had been good for the young man.
She told OK! online: "He’s left but I think the door has been left open for him. It’s really benefited him and Ferne’s relationship too."
This news comes shortly after Tom Pearce announced that he would no longer be taking part in ‘TOWIE’ or its festive special ‘The Only Way Is EsseXmas’ because he wanted to focus on his career outside of television.
He wrote on Twitter: "I was not dropped from Xmas special. I quit to concentrate on my job. (sic)"
