Tina O'Brien had "11 days of hell" before giving birth.
The 'Coronation Street' actress and partner Adam Crofts welcomed their son Beau into the world last month and the 31-year-old beauty - who also has six-year-old daughter Scarlett with ex-boyfriend Ryan Thomas - admits she was struggling beforehand because she had gone so far past her due date.
She told OK! magazine: "I was 11 days overdue, which were 11 days of hell because I was still doing the school run with Scarlett and I was so heavy.
"The other mums would be like, 'Are you still pregnant?' "
While Tina remained calm during her two-hour labour, Adam was so stressed and nervous, he almost forgot to wait for his girlfriend before driving to hospital.
Tina revealed: "He was calm and loading up the car but when I had a contraction while I stood in the driveway, he suddenly became stressed and nearly drove off without me. Then he missed the junction so we ended up going the wrong way to the hospital.
"I didn't say much because I could tell he was pretty stressed. When we eventually got to the hospital, Adam marched through to the maternity unit and left me in the corridor having a contraction. I was like, 'Is he having the baby without me?' "
While little Scarlett is happy to have a baby brother, she has been a little confused about his name.
Tina said: "One of the mums in Scarlett's class said, 'Oh we've heard you called your son Ribbon' - Scarlett got confused between bow and ribbon!"

James Jordan wants to star in a reality TV show with Ola Jordan.
The 'Celebrity Big Brother' star says he and his wife, who have been married for 11 years, have "got nothing to hide" and would love to share their private lives via their own series.
Asked if he would let a camera crew into their house, the 36-year-old star told BANG Showbiz at the SeriousFun Children's Network Gala at London's Roundhouse: "It doesn't bother me, yeah. I mean Jesus Christ I did 'Big Brother' so yeah things like that don't bother me, I've got nothing to hide."
But James wouldn't allow filming to take place in their bedroom.
Discussing where they would draw the line, he said: "Probably when we're in the bedroom doing naughty things to each other ... I'm not really into porn. Not my bag really."
Fans of the couple could see their lives completely change if they do sign a deal to star in a reality TV series, as earlier this year, Ola, 32, admitted they eager to start a family.
The 'Strictly Come Dancing' star said: "I definitely don't want to sacrifice children for a career. I can't imagine life without kids and I think James will be a great dad."

Stacey Solomon would eat a pig's face if she was on this year's series of 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!'.
The 25-year-old star went Down Under in 2010 and was crowned 'Queen of the Jungle' by the British public and had to dine on a buffet of disgusting delicacies in the Rank Banquet Bushtucker Trial.
When told some of this year's unlucky campmates will have to take a bite out of new menu item pig's face during the food challenges, Stacey insists she'd rather tackle the puke-inducing pork than something like kangaroo's penis.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, she said: "Of course I'll be watching when it starts, it's my favourite. I tell you, pig's face is better than kangaroo's willy. We had kangaroo's anus as well. I'd rather eat the face though, I'd rather have the front end than the bottom end!
Stacey has heard rumours Gemma Collins is going into the jungle and she is tipping 'The Only Way Is Essex' star to be a potential winner if she does appear on the programme.
The singer - who first shot to fame on 'The X Factor' - said: "Gemma will do fine if she goes in. She's a strong woman, she knows what she's doing and she knows what she wants, she can get through that. "If she gets past the trials and really goes for it I think she can make it to the end."
Stacey attended the launch of Disney Store's Share the Magic Christmas charity campaign at its flagship shop on London's Oxford Street on Tuesday night (04.11.14).
She was joined by a host of other celebrities, including Kate Garraway, Michelle Heaton, Tina Hobley and Claire Sweeney, who got to meet special guests Mickey and Minnie.
The Share in The Magic charity campaign - which is in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity - is a UK initiative that invites families to post their own own Letter to Santa at Disney Stores across the country and online at disneystore.co.uk, for every letter sent Disney Store will donate soft toys to children.

Zoe Ball will stand in for Claudia Winkleman on this weekend's 'Strictly Come Dancing' while she cares for her daughter.
'It Takes Two' host Zoe co-hosted the ballroom competition with Tess Daly last weekend when Claudia had to miss the shows on Saturday (01.11.14) and Sunday (02.11.14) to care for her eight-year-old daughter Matilda, who was involved in an accident last Friday (31.10.14) which left her with burns.
A spokesperson for BBC One has now confirmed Claudia will not be at work again this week, saying: "Zoe Ball will co-host 'Strictly Come Dancing' this weekend. All our thoughts and very best wishes are with Claudia and her family at this time."

The youngster is expected to remain in hospital for the next few weeks to be treated for her injuries.
A statement issued on behalf of Claudia and her family said: "She is having the best care possible and we are hopeful of a full recovery. We would like to thank everyone that has been so supportive and particularly the NHS doctors, nurses and staff who have been absolutely incredible. We would like to take this opportunity to remind anyone taking part in fireworks parties or Guy Fawkes celebrations to be vigilant about the dangers of candles, open fires and fireworks and to be please have the appropriate safety measures in place and to hand."
The 42-year-old TV star is married to film producer Kris Thykier and as well as Matilda they have two sons, Jake and Arthur.

Jack P. Shepherd has reportedly been handed a new contract for 'Coronation Street'.
The 26-year-old actor - who stars as tearaway David Platt on the long-running ITV soap - was reprimanded earlier this year after making insensitive comments on Twitter about a fire at a Manchester dog's home.
However, it's now been revealed the star has been given a new big-money contract, but bosses are keen to reassure viewers that the deal was made before the incident and that he was not "rewarded" for his actions.
An insider explained: "What Jack Wrote on Twitter was unforgivable and is future on the show was seriously in doubt.
"But just days before we had given him a new one-year contract. He is one of the biggest stars on the show and we wanted to recognise that.
"That said, we completely understand how it looks and we would hate for people to think we have rewarded him for his terrible behaviour."
And it now seems that Jack's contract may have been altered following the posts he wrote about the fire, which caused the death of over 50 animals.
The source added to The Sun newspaper: "We don't know whether his new deal would have been affected by what he said on Twitter, but there is definitely a chance it would have been."
Apologising after the controversy, Jack said: "This was not intended to be a malicious tweet and I didn't consider the offence it would cause."
He recently returned to the social networking site after Corrie bosses banned him from using it for several weeks.

'Loose Women' star Coleen Nolan taught Rixton guitarist Danny Wilkin how to put on a condom.
The 49-year-old TV star's 22-year-old son Jake Roche is the frontman of the pop band and she regularly dishes out sex education to him and the rest of the group and even gave detailed instructions of how to use the contraceptive device properly.
Danny told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "She taught me to pinch the end and roll it down."
Jake - whose dad is Coleen's ex-husband, 'EastEnders' actor Shane Richie - added: "I send a text to my mum if I've got a problem. She's always there for me and my mates. I'm not embarrassed of her, she's great."
Their bandmate Charley Bagnall also relies on Coleen for advice about his love life, admitting: "I've gone to her with girlfriend problems, STI problems."
Although Coleen - who has another son, Shane Roche, from her marriage to Shane, and a daughter Ciara with her husband Ray Fensome - is very open-minded and honest when it comes to sex, Jake insists he and the rest of Rixton would be in big trouble if he ever took drugs.
Speaking about his mother's reaction would be if he dabbled in illegal substances, Jake said: "Mum would kill me. She panics if I accidentally take a paracetamol."

Lacey Turner hoovers her dog.
The 'EastEnders' actress has revealed that she is obsessed with keeping her home looking pristine, and as well as using a vacuum cleaner on her carpets, has taken to using it on her beloved pooch, Dexter.
The 26-year-old beauty confessed: "He loves it!
"He's a Labrador and they moult like whatever... I hoover him every time I get the hoover out, so like ten times a day. He's so clean."
The actress - who recently appeared in television drama 'Our Girl' as a British soldier in Afghanistan - made the admission on an episode of BBC Three panel show 'Sweat the Small Stuff', which airs this evening (05.11.14).
Elsewhere on the show, fellow panellist Alex James, formerly of Brit-pop band Blur, also admitted to an odd habit when he confessed that he "can't help" but blow his nose on towels in his home.
The 45-year-old musician - who has also started making cheese in recent years - explained: "I've got a real thing about blowing my nose on towels,
"Yeah, it is disgusting but I can't help it.
"It's from when you come off stage and someone gives you a towel then you go back to a hotel and there are loads of towels, and I've become quite nonchalant about towels. And now I can't be trained not to do that!"
