Ricky Wilson stays in touch with his 'The Voice' contestants.
The Kaiser Chiefs frontman claims he's kept in contact with his former team members from his first series on the BBC One singing competition last year and insists they're all doing great, despite not being crowned winner.
He told BANG Showbiz at 'The Voice' series four launch at the Mondrian London hotel: "I'm in touch with all of the people who were on my team last year and I think they're all having a better time than they were before they went on the show and I think that's a testament to the show."
The 36-year-old rocker - who is joined by Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am and new addition Rita Ora on the judging panel - also insists 'The Voice' does more for aspiring singers than other talent shows, such as 'The X Factor'.
Ricky explained: "We might not be churning out superstars to fill the gap until the next series but I think that's a good thing. I think over the next few years you'll start seeing people brining out records and having hits and you'll go, 'Where have I seen them before?' "
'The Voice' series four begins on Saturday January 10 at 7pm on BBC One.

Fearne Cotton believes motherhood gave her a "true" purpose in her life.
The 'Celebrity Juice' star has 23-month old son Rex with her husband Jesse Wood and has confessed she always felt there was something missing in her life until she gave birth in February 2013.
Fearne said: "I always felt there was something slightly lacking. That there should be something more to my life. Something a bit meatier, a bit deeper, a bit more real.
"Becoming a mum made me feel I had a true purpose. You don't really have that feeling of absolute love until you become a parent yourself ... the responsibility and overwhelming love you feel. It's something else. I feel it's the reason I'm here on planet Earth - to nurture guide and support this little man."
Fearne - who is also a stepmother to Jesse's children, Arthur, 12, and Lola, eight, from a previous relationship - would be "over the moon" if the couple were to have more kids in the future.
The BBC Radio 1 DJ told HELLO! magazine: "I'd be over the moon to have the opportunity again because I've loved every second of the whole motherhood experience.
"I've always felt that as a woman, nurturing is what I should be doing. I'm a big nurturer and have always done it for friends family and pets and being a mum is getting to do that on a greater level."

The 'Broadchurch' cast have been banned from watching episodes of the show before they are broadcast.
According to star Arthur Darvill - who plays Reverend Paul Coates in the ITV crime drama - the secrecy surrounding the upcoming second series of the show has been so important to bosses that they have refused to allow the cast to watch entire episodes before they hit screens.
Arthur told 'Good Morning Britain': "I haven't seen it. None of us have seen it. We're not allowed to see any of it.
"I've seen little bits of it for doing ADR, but not a whole episode. From the little tiny nuggets I've seen it looks amazing.
"There's so many of us in it that we all concentrate on our own little bits, so I can't wait to see everyone else in it."
The 32-year-old actor is glad the cast have had to sign non-disclosure agreements as he is prone to giving away plot secrets.
The former 'Doctor Who' star said: "I'm really good at giving away the secrets. But I'm so used to it. I always get jobs where I'm not allowed to talk about it and end up being good at talking about nothing for quite a long time."
The new series - which starts on ITV tonight at 9pm - also stars returning cast members David Tennant, Jodie Whittaker and Olivia Colman, and will focus on residents of the tight-knit community in Dorset as they try to come to terms with their grief following the murder of 11-year-old boy Danny in series one.
Jodie - who plays Beth Latimer - said: "Series two explores grief."

Lucy Beale's murderer will be revealed in a special flashback episode of 'EastEnders'.
The blonde beauty, played by actress Hetti Bywater, was brutally murdered last year and her killer is set to be unveiled during the BBC One soap's 30th anniversary week of live episodes in February.
Executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins said: "When we first created the Who Killed Lucy Beale storyline, we knew that we had to flash back to the night that she died on screen.
"So much happened on Good Friday 2014 after viewers saw Lucy leave her home and walk off into the night - and this Flashback episode will fill in the pieces for the rest of that night, before she was killed."
The episode will also see the return of former cast members - including Hetti, Jamie Lomas (Jake Stone) and Tanya Franks (Rainie Cross) - as viewers are presented with new twists in old storylines and secrets from the past year.
Hetti said of reprising the role of Lucy: "It's great to be part of the conclusion and find out what really happened the night Lucy Beale died..."
Jamie also commented on being involved in the flashback episode, saying: "It was always part of the plan between Dominic and myself that I would come back for this special episode that will fill the blanks in for the viewers."
Meanwhile, Tanya - who plays prostitute Rainie in the popular drama - has teased viewers about whether or not Lucy's father Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) was really with her on the night of his daughter's death.
She shared: "It's fab to be back celebrating the 30th anniversary of 'EastEnders'. Where have the last three decades gone?! So, if you want to find out if Rainie was really with Ian Beale on the night Lucy Beale died, then all will be revealed!"

Kym Marsh's daughter has auditioned for 'The Voice'.
The 'Coronation Street' actress has spoken out about her anxiety at daughter Emilie Cunliffe, 16, trying out for the BBC One singing contest.
She said: "I was so nervous all day. We were just on eggshells. I couldn't sleep the night before and I couldn't eat - Emilie was nervous."
Emilie - who is one of Kym's two children from her previous relationship with Dave Cunliffe - will sing for judges Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Ricky Wilson and new addition Rita Ora when the show returns for its fourth series on Saturday (10.01.15).
And Kym - who had a successful music career with Hear'Say after winning talent show 'Popstars' in 2001 before becoming an actress - insists it was entirely her daughter's decision.
The 38-year-old star - who also has son David, 18, with Dave and three-year-old daughter Polly with ex-husband Jamie Lomas - told The Sun newspaper: "This had to be one hundred million percent her choice.
"She couldn't be going into a show like this unless it was.
"If I forced her, it would just come falling down on top of me, but this is all she ever wanted to do."
The brunette beauty - who is now engaged to personal trainer Dan Hooper - also claims Emilie was attracted to the format of the show because she has no interest in "cashing in" on her mother's fame.
Kym added: "Emilie doesn't like to mention me or my work. She has a different surname from mine too - she loves that.
"If people ever mention me to her she's like, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's my mum. Move on'. She's determined to do this by herself.
"And she will - she gets that from me."

Davina McCall could become the next Nigella Lawson.
The 'Million Pound Drop' host is reportedly being eyed up by TV bosses to become the next big celebrity chef following the release of her first cookbook this week.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Cooking's huge on TV. A fresh face is badly needed and Davina could become the new queen of the kitchen."
Nigella - who has had a number of popular cookbooks and TV shows - recently relaunched her career in the US after divorcing husband Charles Saatchi last year and Davina could now be set to replace her on British screens.
The 47-year-old presenter recently introduced a healthy eating regime for her family and documented it in new book '5 Weeks To Sugar-Free'.
And, although she claims the effects of the diet have massively increased her confidence, she admits she still allows her children - Chester, Holly and Tilly - to have the occasional sweet treat, but didn't reveal whether she lets husband Matthew Robertson have any days off.
She said: "I'm not a complete militant: the children aren't entirely sugar free.
"Otherwise I know they would sneak off to friends' houses and go crazy."

Robbie Williams' wife Ayda Field is in talks to appear on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 35-year-old actress was reportedly planning to compete on the BBC One celebrity dance contest last year but was forced to pull out after falling pregnant.
However, now she's given birth to her and Robbie's second child - Charlton Valentine - she's said to be keen to take part in the next series later this year.
A source told the Daily Mail newspaper: "Ayda was lined up for Strictly in 2014 but had to back out after discovering she was pregnant.
"By the time the next series starts, her son will be 11 months."
Ayda, who was born and raised in the United States, and Robbie - who also have two-year-old daughter Theodora Rose together - are said to be planning to make the move from Los Angeles to London after splashing out on a swanky pad in Holland Park.
Meanwhile, former Take That singer Robbie recently confessed he plans to quit his music career in favour of becoming a mechanic.
He said: "To be quite honest with you I'm getting a little bit bored of the pop star/rock star thing. I've been very, very lucky, I've had an amazing career, but I want to do something different."

Ola Jordan is going under the knife to save her career.
The 32-year-old dancer, who is best known for appearing on the BBC reality show 'Strictly Come Dancing', suffered a potentially career-threatening injury to her knee while preparing for Channel 4's winter sports show 'The Jump' and has revealed she's set to undergo surgery in order to correct the problem.
She tweeted: "Had a good Physio session today. They said I'm ready for my operation on Tuesday.
"Fingers crossed everything goes well. Xxx"
The injury forced Ola to miss the final two weeks of group dances on 'Strictly' and a source told the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "It has been a very worrying time for Ola - the type of injury she suffered can be career threatening."
Ola's injury woes were compounded when her husband James Jordan, 36, collapsed over Christmas, complaining of chest and stomach pains caused by gallstones.
Although Ola was "shocked and distressed" when her husband fell to the ground, her injury meant she was unable to help him.
A source said: "Ola was absolutely heartbroken. She feared something horrible had happened to her husband.
"They decided that they should call an ambulance right away and James was rushed to hospital.
"James has been caring for Ola so she is now having to struggle without him."
