Tamzin Outhwaite reveals truth behind divorce drama

Tamzin Outhwaite divorced ex-husband Tom Ellis over more than just a "one-night stand".
The 44-year-old actress, who married Tom in 2006 and divorced him last year, has suggested that their relationship ended because Tom made more than a single mistake.
She shared: "I wouldn't not be with my husband over a one-night stand is all I'll say."
However, the actress, who has two children - Florence Elsie Ellis, six, and two-year-old Marnie Mae Ellis - said she didn't want to reveal the precise details of their troubles for fear of hurting their kids.
Tamzin explained to Essentials magazine: "I will tell them exactly what happened and it will come from me.
"He's still their dad and they still have a relationship."
Tom confessed to adultery while filming in the US, however it was widely thought to have been a one-off incident, with Tamzin citing Tom's "infidelity" as the reason for their split.
Despite the drama, which culminated in their divorce last year, Tamzin says she's ready to move on and start a new chapter in her life.
The 'New Tricks' star said: "It's taken a while but I've got my confidence back."

Marvin Humes wants This Morning wife swap

Marvin Humes wants to do a wife swap on 'This Morning'.
The former JLS star and his spouse Rochelle Humes often fill in for the regular hosts on the daytime TV show, but Marvin has a plan to exchange Rochelle for Ruth Langsford, who is one half of the other husband and wife hosting team with her husband Eamonn Holmes.
The Saturdays singer Rochelle says Eamonn is up for the switch so it could happen in 2015 if bosses allow it.
The sexy star told BANG Showbiz: "We keep saying we're going to do wife swap. Eammon really wants to do a wife swap and I think Marvin's quite happy about that too! So maybe we'll do that one week, it would be fun."
Rochelle, 25, insists she and 29-year-old Marvin - who also hosts 'The Voice' - never had any plans to become a presenting couple but the opportunity arose and she is delighted it has worked out so well for them.
Rochelle - who has a 20-month-old daughter Alaia-Mai with her husband - has revealed Marvin played jokes on her when they first started presenting 'This Morning' and initially she was always nervous she was going to utter a swear word by accident.
She said: "It all sort of happened by accident it's not like we set out to plan to be a couple that work together they just said, 'Oh do you want to do this.' And we were like, 'Yeah that'll be a laugh.' And then they asked if we wanted to do it again, now it's ended up like that. But we don't have any aspirations to be a power couple, it just sort of happened and we enjoy it. It's nice to pin down a day when we're together though.
"When we started though Marvin kept stitching me up! And I was so scared I was going to swear, but I did alright. When I'm there now I know that it's a be-good zone."

Helen Flanagan’s ice lolly cure

Helen Flanagan is battling her morning sickness with ice lollies.
The ex-'Coronation Street' star - who is expecting her first child in June with footballer Scott Sinclair - is reportedly suffering terribly from the pregnancy side effect and is snacking on Marks & Spencer's Colin the Caterpillar lollies to "settle her stomach".
A source told the Sunday People newspaper: "Her freezer's bursting with them. She hasn't stopped retching since she found out she was expecting.
"But the lollies take the edge off the nausea and settle her stomach."
Earlier this week, the 24-year-old actress jokingly tweeted that she nausea was her "favourite".
The model also took to the social media site in late December to confirm the couple's happy news.
She wrote on Twitter: "Me and Scott are expecting our first baby in the summer. We are both so happy and so excited xxx (sic)"
Helen is believed to be "thrilled" about the impending arrival, despite struggling with her sickness.
A source said at the time: "It's a much-wanted pregnancy which makes it all the sweeter. Helen is so thrilled. She was bursting with excitement.
"It hasn't been easy for Helen. She's been feeling poorly."

Rita Ora loves The Voice’s ‘freedom’

Rita Ora loves the "freedom" of 'The Voice'.
The 'I Will Never Let You Down' hitmaker - who is taking a seat on the talent show's judging panel this series - has revealed that she "respects" the format of the show.
She said: "People are so fixated on numbers and having a Christmas No1. I respected 'The Voice's format and how I musically connected to it ...
"I watched 'The Voice' a lot and I love the freedom. We got to do what we wanted. I am only one record in (career-wise), but it takes a lot of brains to create a structure and a brand.
"You can be a movement now. That is what this tool is. It's a record deal but also exposure and branding."
The 24-year-old singer - who stars alongside will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Kaiser Chiefs' Ricky Wilson on the BBC show - has certainly struck a chord with the Black Eyed Peas rapper who praised her commercial successes away from the music industry.
He told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "I am so happy Rita is on this season, as she represents a whole new level of how you quantify success.
"Does Rita have ten No1s right now? No, but Rita accomplished things that artists who have had 120 No1s haven't. People might have crazy amounts of No1s but they don't have the deals that Rita has."
He added: "When I walk through the supermarket and see Rita on a magazine and see her products in there, I say this girl has got some crazy stuff and I think these artists, they need to see the new dynamic to quantify success."

Lucy Mecklenburgh’s exercise ‘addiction’

Lucy Mecklenburgh was "addicted" to exercise.
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star - who runs her own fitness empire - has admitted that she reached a dangerous point with her weight just after she split from Mario Falcone in 2012.
She shared: "I was addicted to exercise. It wasn't about being thin, but it made me happier so I'd do it a lot more.
"After that [photo] shoot I went shopping and properly looked at myself in the changing room mirror. I thought: 'OK, I'm too thin. I need to put on weight,' so I made a conscious effort to eat a bit more and not exercise as much.
"These days I still train hard - up to five times a week for half an hour to an hour at a time. It's still a lot, but that's what works for me, and I eat a lot more now. I think it's very important to exercise regularly, I don't feel good when I don't. But I am not obsessive any more. I work out to stay fit and lean, not to lose weight."
The 23-year-old television personality - who is dating Olympic gymnast Louis Smith, 25 - also revealed she likes a man with a good physique but would never exercise alongside him because she'd "look horrendous".
She said: "I do like a good body, I must admit. I like them to work out. I wouldn't want a lazy boy."
When asked if she'd work out with a partner, she added: "Sod that. You look horrendous when you exercise. I wouldn't want to do that with my boyfriend!"
Despite being "really happy" in her new relationship with the "loveliest guy", Lucy has revealed that she has no plans on slowing down work-wise.
She told Fabulous magazine: "I want to be involved in my business ... I love this life.
"Why should I change for someone else? Maybe it's selfish, but why should I adapt my life when I don't want to?"

Damian Lewis likens himself to royalty

Damian Lewis sees similarities between himself and royalty.
The 43-year-old actor, who is best known for portraying Marine Sergeant Nicholas Brody in 'Homeland', is set to star as Henry VIII in 'Wolf Hall', a BBC adaptation of Hilary Mantel's Man Booker Prize-winning historical novel.
And Damian thinks his elite upbringing at Eton College makes him the ideal candidate for the role, explaining: "The more I read about him the more I was happy - and alarmed - to find that I did share character traits with him.
"I suppose everyone else will be the judge of it, but certainly sitting in the clothes, it feels like a canny piece of casting, because I do feel, I do find similarities between myself and him.
"I think there's no question it helps having had the kind of schooling that I've had to play a King. Just the way, the sort of court structure, hierarchies, the way they're set up, it's something I feel I implicitly understand."
Damian stressed that there are misconceptions about Henry.
He reflected: "I think we all have this understanding that he was this womanising, syphilitic, bloated, genocidal Elvis character.
"And actually the truth is, though it might be an odd thing to mention, he had a 32-inch waist and he remained that way for quite a long time.
"He was the pre-eminent sportsman in his court. He was much taller than anyone else. His beautiful, pale complexion was often remarked upon by commentators."

Davina McCall recalls her Sport Relief nightmare

Davina McCall still suffers anxiety attacks after her 'Sport Relief' challenge.
The 47-year-old TV presenter ran, cycled and swam 500 miles from Edinburgh to London in aid of the charity in February 2014, but she had to be hauled from the water as she swam across Lake Windermere.
And Davina admits she's still tormented by the experience, explaining: "Every time I go out in the winter weather I'm thinking, 'Jesus, I was training in this!
"Every time I see a lake I feel a bit anxious."
Davina also confirmed she suffered a serious injury to her knee, leaving her unable to train and causing her weight to increase.
But Davina, who has three children - Holly, 13, Tilly, 11, and eight-year-old Chester - is determined to ensure that her kids get plenty of exercise and stay healthy.
She told Fit and Well magazine: "I don't tell them they have to get fit -- that would make it a chore.
"We just say, 'Come on, let's go out for a bike ride'. It's a family outing. We never, ever talk about being thin or losing weight.
"I don't say, 'Does my bum look big in these trousers?'"

Vicky Pattison: Geordie Shore boys won’t grow up

Vicky Pattison claims the male stars of 'Geordie Shore' will never grow up.
The brunette beauty - who quit the reality TV show in October last year - believes her former cast mates Gary Beadle, Aaron Chalmers, Kyle Christie and Scott Timlin are suffering from "Peter Pan syndrome" and have no plans to exit the series any time soon.
She said: "The boys in that house - Gary, Scott, Kyle, Aaron - they've got real Peter Pan syndrome and it's fine for them.
"They can live in Geordie Never Neverland and shag girls for the rest of their life and have no responsibilities or cares or anything because all they do when they come out is do PAs [public appearances] anyway - it's just an extension of the show.
"Gary's going to be bucking birds on his f**king Zimmer frame, man, isn't he? That's definitely not changing any time soon."
Vicky, 27, insists its been much harder for her female co-stars to decide whether to stay on the show and admitted that her close pal, Charlotte Crosby, has debated leaving the MTV series.
She told Digital Spy: "I think it is harder for the girls than it is the boys because we've got stuff ticking that the lads don't have.
"Every so often Charlotte sort of pulls away - you can tell she sort of wants something else or something different...I think it's really hard and really difficult for the girls at times."

David Tennant: Pressure is on for Broadchurch

David Tennant admits the "expectation" for the return of 'Broadchurch' is huge.
The 43-year-old actor reprises his role as Detective Inspector Alec Hardy in the second series of the crime drama and he feels pressure for it to be well-received because of the unexpected TV hit the first series became.
He said: "We had the advantage in the first series that no-one cared - because nobody knew what was coming. This time, there's expectation, which is always difficult to manage - but if that means we're a victim of success, that's a good thing."
The BAFTA-winning first series - written by Chris Chibnall - dealt with the death of 11-year-old boy Danny and the subsequent investigation to find his killer.
Tennant is glad the new story isn't another whodunnit murder mystery, and admits it has been hard for him and his castmates to keep the storyline a secret.
Speaking to website Digital Spy, the former 'Doctor Who' star said: "The nature of a thriller is it's more thrilling when you don't know what's coming next.
"Even when it was mooted that there might be a second series, none of us knew what that would quite be. It would have felt wrong to just do another body on another beach - that wouldn't have felt like the same world. It would have felt too coincidental and it wouldn't have serviced the magnitude of the events of the first series to do that.
"So all of us were at a loss as to what series two might be and even after Chris explained what his idea was, I still couldn't quite picture it until I'd seen the script for episode one and then it suddenly made sense. From the end of act one, I was absolutely hooked again."
As well as Tennant, Olivia Coleman returns as Detective Sergeant Ellie Miller, Arthur Darvill as Reverend Paul Coates and Jodie Whittaker and Andrew Buchan as Danny's grieving parents Beth and Mark Latimer.
'Broadchurch' series two starts on Monday (05.01.14) on ITV at 9pm.
