'Coronation Street' actress Paula Lane has given birth to a baby boy.
The 28-year-old actress - who plays bad girl Kylie Platt in the soap - and her husband Tom Shaw welcomed their first child into the world on New Year's Eve (31.12.14).
Paula announced the happy news on her Twitter account in a post which read: "Our world is complete - we finished off a momentous year with the arrival of our beautiful baby boy on NYE!!!! (sic)"
No other details about the birth or the tot are yet to be revealed.
Paula - who was seen leaving Weatherfield in the Christmas Day episode after being thrown out by her on screen husband David Platt - has been congratulated by many of her 'Coronation Street' co-stars and colleagues.
The show's official website posted: "Many congratulations to Coronation Street's Paula Lane, who plays Kylie Platt. Paula gave birth last night to a baby boy, on New Year's Eve."
Her pregnant co-star Catherine Tyldesley, who plays Eva Price, tweeted: "Massive congrats guys!!! Lots of love!! I'm cooking him a little pal as we speak 😉 xxx (sic)"
Debbie Rush - who portrays Anna Windass - posted on Twitter: "Massive congratulations to @lane_paula and @SirTomShaw on the birth of your baby boy. What a way to start the year! Sending much love xxxxx (sic)"
Paula married her teenage sweetheart Tom - who she met while they were both students at Huddersfield Technical College - in May 2014 and announced her pregnancy news just a few weeks later.

'Gogglebox' star Sandra Martin has got engaged.
The larger-than-life lady - who gives her TV opinions on the Channel 4 show with her best friend Sandy Channer - is set to tie the knot after proposing to her boyfriend Derek on New Year's Eve (31.12.14).
Sandra is known for her love of "ringandtings" but has vowed to move all her jewellery to her right hand now she's a betrothed woman, only wearing her engagement ring and eventually her wedding band on her left hand.
She announced her happy news on her Twitter account, posting: "Congratulations is in order, sandragogglebox is officially ingaged to derekgogglebox he did not say yes but kept on smiling wen I gave he a ringandting and said would you marry me,, the smile said it all,, dats good enough 4 me ... so now am cal MRS @sandragogglebox DAT SOUNDS BETTER, FEELING PROPER LADY NOW,,AND NOW I CAN JUST WEAR 1RING ON ME LEFT HAND AND 5 ON OTHER (sic)"
And Sandra wants to make the wedding an affair for the entire 'Gogglebox' family and is planning on asking Vicar Kate Bottley - who also appears on the programme - to marry her and Derek.
In other tweets, she added: "When I get married to Derek, I'm going to make Gogglebox vicar do our service. Why not keep it in the family? It's a big fat one, trust me, I am walking down Gogglebox church."
And Sandra has promised to let her fans be a part of her nuptials when they happen.
She tweeted: "U GUYS MAKE MY DAY, OF COURSE YOU ALL GONNA PLAY APART IN MY WEDDING, ITS A BIG FAT ONE, TRUST ME ,, AM WALKING DOWN GOGGLEBOX CHURCH (sic)"

Vicki Michelle lied about having a cyst on her ovary so she could appear on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'
The 64-year-old actress was told she had a growth "the size of a small rugby ball" just three weeks before she was set to arrive in the Austrailan jungle but refused to let producers know as she feared she would be unable to take part in the series.
She said: "I had been to an exercise class and was doubled over in pain and weeing every 30 minutes. It was excruciating but I just put it down to getting older.
"But I was in so much pain I called out my doctor and he said, 'I'm sorry, but you need to go to A&E now'.
"I feared the worst, I thought it was cancer. Two days later I went to have a scan. They told me I had a cyst the size of a small rugby ball."
Fortunately, the ''Allo 'Allo!' star was able to have her cyst drained through keyhole surgery by royal surgeon Alan Farthing instead of having it removed, which allowed her to avoid the six week recovery period.
However, Vicki was still forced to lie to the show's doctors in order to appear on the programme.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I was really lucky to be able to get an appointment with Mr. Farthing, who is the Queen's surgeon-gynaecologist. He is an amazing surgeon - and the bonus was he is also drop-dead gorgeous.
"The doctor who works for the programme asked if I had anything wrong, any recent surgery.
"I said I hadn't had any problems. I did lie. My doctor in England had said I would be fine but I didn't want to risk anything. I didn't want to lose the job."

Jake Quickenden is reportedly dating Carl Fogarty's daughter.
The 26-year-old reality TV star appeared alongside former World Superbike champion Carl on ITV's 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' and struck up a friendship with his oldest child Danielle after the show ended.
A source revealed Jake has subsequently spent time at Carl's family home in Blackburn, Lancashire, saying: "It's very early days. He went up to stay with Carl, and he and Danielle have spent a lot of time together.
"They've grown very close and really like each other. They are taking it very slowly because they don't want to ruin their friendship and he's just come out of a relationship.
"He has been welcomed with open arms by the family and they're having a lot of fun."
Danielle admitted that she and Jake - who finished in second place behind her father on 'I'm A Celeb' after being voted off 'The X Factor' just weeks before - had "grown really close" in recent weeks.
She told The Sun newspaper: "He keeps coming up to the family home. He's part of the family now."
The pair were pictured together over Christmas and shortly after Carl emerged victorious from the jungle in December, he revealed Jake joked with him about his daughter.
He said at the time: "Jake asked, 'Is your daughter coming to the wrap party?'
"I think he was winding me up. Jake's a lovely lad."

Brendan O'Carroll will make 'Mrs. Brown's Boys' Christmas specials until 2020.
The 59-year-old star of the hit BBC One comedy has revealed he has already received commissions for further episodes with the channel expecting him to continue writing them for at least the next five years.
He said: "I have been commissioned to write another two Christmas specials and the BBC are expecting Christmas specials up until 2020."
The comedian stars as Irish matriarch Agnes Brown and admits the show could go on for many more years as his character can simply get older as he himself ages.
He continued to the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I am lucky enough I can grow into the part and so that is nice.
"The Christmas special was quite nighty. But it was good fun to do."
Meanwhile, Brendan - who is married to co-star Jennifer Gibney - has revealed plans for his next possible venture, in which he hopes to film people waiting for their loved ones at airport arrivals.
He explained: "I would like to film them and speak to them about who they are waiting for and why they are there."
Speaking about how he came up with the idea, he added: "Growing up in Dublin there was 11 of us in my family and some of my brothers and sisters emigrated.
"At one stage seven of us were away and Christmas was spent meeting people at airports which I loved and I used to cry just to see people coming through arrivals."

Rita Ora is "naughtier" than former 'The Voice' judges Kylie Minogue and Jessie J.
The 'How We Do' hitmaker has joined the panel of the BBC One talent show and fellow judge and Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson claims she's not as well behaved as her predecessors.
Referring to a Rita wearing a pair of elf ears she'd stolen from the CCBC children's TV studio, he said: "She is a lot naughtier than Kylie and Jessie. Look at her! She makes me laugh."
However, the blonde beauty - who previously dated Calvin Harris and Rob Kardashian and is now romancing Tommy Hilfiger's son Ricky - insists she's just being herself.
She told The Sun newspaper: "I like to take advantage of the fact I am the only female. I don't do anything crazy naughty, I just try to be spontaneous."
Rita - who also joins 'The Voice' veterans Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am on the panel - claims that while she may appear to be flirting with some of the contestants when the show kicks off next week, it's nothing more than friendliness.
She added: "Sometimes, for women, friendliness comes across as flirting. That's not what it is.
"We usually get accused of flirting when we are being friendly or laughing at a joke. I just have fun, that's all I do. I'm 24. I just enjoy it."

Caroline Flack wants to present another TV show with Olly Murs in 2015.
The 35-year-old presenter wants to find a new project to work on with her former 'Xtra Factor' co-host but insists they wouldn't be able to do anything "serious" together.
She said: "Me and Olly are still great mates. I'd love to present another show with him and I think it's likely to happen.
"It would have to be a silly show though - me and Olly aren't the most serious of duos."
The presenter has been training hard on 'Strictly Come Dancing' and admits she used it as a reason to eat more because she just burned off the extra calories.
She told Closer magazine: "My body did change and I got more trim but I ate so much just to stay fuelled.
"I was scoffing burgers and pasta - loads of carbs. But I was burning it off. Of course, I'll indulge over Christmas too."
After winning the 2014 series of 'Strictly Come Dancing', Caroline also suggested she'd like to appear on the stage, possibly in a musical.
The presenter said winning the show has opened up lots of new possibilities for her.

Jess Wright wants 2015 to be the "best year yet".
The 'Only Way is Essex' star is single after splitting from Ricky Rayment last month but insists she won't be looking for love next year as she wants to focus on herself.
She said: "2015 is all about my career and focusing on me, not romance. I want to make it the best and most positive year yet. I'm turning 30 and I'm going to have a massive girls' holiday in Vegas. It's a huge birthday so you have to do it right."
Jess admits the end of her two-year relationship "drained" her but she is now feeling more like her old self.
She told Closer magazine: "For so long I wasn't myself with Ricky. Now I'm single, I'm slowly getting back to the old me.
"The last series of 'TOWIE' absolutely drained me as I have to go through a horrible break up in front of the cameras."
Meanwhile, former 'TOWIE' star Sam Faiers said she wants to compete on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
She said: "I'd love to do 'Strictly' at some stage. I might think I have rhythm when I'm in a club but I really can't dance. So I'd love to learn."
