Harry Hill would feel "creepy" if he dressed up in drag.
The 50-year-old TV personality - who is hosting the new series of 'Stars In Their Eyes' - will be impersonating different celebrities on the show when it returns this weekend but fears he is too old to dress as female stars.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I'm not going to be any female singers. I'm too old for drag now. I look a bit creepy."
Speaking about how closely the remake will follow the format of the original show, he added: "It's a mix between celebrating 'Stars In Their Eyes' and taking the mickey out of it.
While Harry is happy to give his audience a laugh by dressing up as various popstars, he insists he will be kind to the show's contestants as he doesn't think it would be right to "take the piss out of their performances."
He explained to heat magazine: "Well, I'll find out about them and do gags around that. I can't really take the piss out of their performances - that would trash the format entirely and I think that would be a mistake.
"They will each get presented with a Stars In Their Eyes souvenir pencil. In my mind, the whole thing is about being fun rather than changing their lives or getting a million-pound recording contract."
The 'You've Been Framed' narrator also revealed which singers he'll be dressing up as.
He added: "I'm going to do Pharrell, Daft Punk and George Michael."

Sally Bercow has been forced to quit 'The Jump' because of injury.
The 45-year-old wife of John Bercow, the Speaker in the House of Commons, had been set to star in the Channel 4 reality TV show - which has been described as the most dangerous in Britain - but has pulled out after suffering a nasty fall while skiing in training and fracturing two ribs.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "Sally's gutted. She wanted to continue."
As a result of her injury, Sally - who appeared in 'Celebrity Big Brother' in 2011 - will return to the UK from Innsbruck, Austria, in the next few days.
Sally's decision to quit the show - which is due to start next month - comes shortly after 'Strictly Come Dancing' star Ola Jordan had to withdraw because of a knee injury.
In fact, Ola's injury was considered so serious she was forced to undergo an operation in order to save her dancing career.
A source close to the star explained: "It has been a very worrying time for Ola - the type of injury she suffered can be career threatening."
However, the new series of the winter sports show will feature the likes of Mike Tindall, Heather Mills and Joey Essex.

Nadia Sawalha could be won over by Katie Hopkins if she's funny.
The 'Loose Women' panellist spoke about speculation the controversial TV personality was set to compete on 'Celebrity Big Brother' before they both entered the reality show house on Wednesday (07.01.15) and confessed she felt as though she might warm to her once she got to know her better.
Nadia said: "It's rumoured Katie Hopkins is going in, but I suspect that she acts a lot of what she says because I don't think anyone could be that nasty. I think it's for business because it gets her work.
"I'm hoping that I meet her and she is actually quite nice because I've heard on the grapevine that she is actually quite funny. People can win me round if they're funny!"
The 50-year-old star revealed she's worried about how much time she'll be forced to spend in the bathroom because of her habits.
She shared: "I've got an itching problem, I've got a wind problem. My family said, 'You'll just have to go to the loo when you do that'. I'm going to spend my whole time in the loo!"
The former 'EastEnders' actress also admitted she'd feel very uncomfortable if her fellow housemates were to get steamy in front of her.
She added: "There is now way I could have somebody shagging in the same room as me. I would have to say that I am literally going to throw up. Even when I was wild I couldn't stand that."

Following her own transformation, Vicky has been lending her support to former castmates Charlotte Crosby and Holly Hagan as they battle to lose weight themselves.
She told OK! magazine: "I've been there constantly for both Charlotte and Holly because the process can be quite taxing.

Mark Wright may miss the 'Strictly Come Dancing' tour because of a back injury.
The former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star first hurt his back during training for the BBC One ballroom dance contest itself and he's now revealed he could be set to miss out on the upcoming nationwide tour after aggravating the injury in the gym.
He said: "I was in the gym just two nights ago and I've really damaged my neck and back. The tour starts next week so I'm hoping I'll be okay, fingers crossed!"
The 27-year-old hunk also opened up about his wedding to former 'Coronation Street' actress Michelle Keegan, which is set to take place later this year.
He confessed on ITV's 'Lorraine': "I think being a guy, with a wedding you can't really win because if you get involved you're told your ideas are wrong and if you don't get involved you're told you don't care.
"So, you have to get involved basically and just accept that your ideas are not right and just help out when you can. But Michelle knows what she wants and it's her day."
Mark - who admits he'd like to have "nice" and "healthy" children with his soulmate in the future - went on to gush that he sees Michelle as much more than just his partner.
He added: "She's a lovely girl, she's not just my fiancée, she's truly my best friend. We have so much fun and she's an absolute gem."

Spencer Matthews idolises Brad Pitt's body.
The 'Made In Chelsea' star - who recently released new exercise DVD 'MIC:FIT' with cast mates Oliver Proudlock, Lucy Watson and Binky Felstead - is in awe of the Hollywood hunk's physique, as well as 'The Notebook' actor Ryan Gosling's good looks.
When asked about his male body idols, Spencer said: "Brad Pitt's a bit of a looker, isn't he? He's alright. He has a pretty good chassis on him. Ryan Gosling, he looks pretty good, I must say."
The 25-year-old star also has a lot of confidence in his own looks and confessed he rarely feels insecure.
He said: "It's not really my thing. It's just time wasted, isn't it?
"There's a fine line between confidence and arrogance. I think I've always been a confident kind of guy and I don't let small things trouble me too much."
Spencer also confessed that, for him, working out isn't just about keeping trim, as he feels time in the gym helps him to clear his mind and keep him energized.
He explained: "I don't work out just to look good. When you're living a healthy lifestyle, things fall into place better. Your mind's clearer, you work harder, you feel less tired. I think it's an important part of life all the time, if you can."
MIC:FIT is out now on DVD and Digital HD through Universal Pictures.
