Harry Hill would feel "creepy" if he dressed up in drag.
The 50-year-old TV personality – who is hosting the new series of ‘Stars In Their Eyes’ – will be impersonating different celebrities on the show when it returns this weekend but fears he is too old to dress as female stars.
He told The Sun newspaper: "I’m not going to be any female singers. I’m too old for drag now. I look a bit creepy."
Speaking about how closely the remake will follow the format of the original show, he added: "It’s a mix between celebrating ‘Stars In Their Eyes’ and taking the mickey out of it.
While Harry is happy to give his audience a laugh by dressing up as various popstars, he insists he will be kind to the show’s contestants as he doesn’t think it would be right to "take the piss out of their performances."
He explained to heat magazine: "Well, I’ll find out about them and do gags around that. I can’t really take the piss out of their performances – that would trash the format entirely and I think that would be a mistake.
"They will each get presented with a Stars In Their Eyes souvenir pencil. In my mind, the whole thing is about being fun rather than changing their lives or getting a million-pound recording contract."
The ‘You’ve Been Framed’ narrator also revealed which singers he’ll be dressing up as.
He added: "I’m going to do Pharrell, Daft Punk and George Michael."
