Rita Ora: The Voice coaches like ‘a cool little family’

Rita Ora has described 'The Voice UK' coaches as "a cool little family".
The 24-year-old pop princess will make her first appearance on the singing competition this evening (10.01.15) following the departure of Kylie Minogue from the panel in 2014, and said although she found it nerve-racking when she joined the show, she gets on well with her fellow coaches, will.i.am, Ricky Wilson and Tom Jones.
She said: "I was extremely nervous, because the other coaches are experienced and I felt a bit of pressure being the only female. I wanted to be prepared, so I did my research by watching shows from the last series with Kylie. It's a cool little family we have here."
Despite her doubts about joining the BBC One programme, 39-year-old Will reassured the 'I Will Never Let You Down' hitmaker she would be good on the show, even though she has only released one album, 2012's 'Ora'.
He explained: "I'm so proud of Rita because she was really afraid of taking the job. She was like, 'What can I tell the people who audition? I've only had a couple of records out, myself'. But these guys look up to her because she's an artist and an entrepreneur."
Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky, 36, added he considered leaving the show after appearing on the show for one series, but decided to stay when he found out the blonde beauty would be joining the line-up.
He told the Daily Mirror's We Love TV magazine: "I wanted to know who was replacing Kylie before committing to another series, and Rita swung my decision to stay."

Jacqueline Jossa expecting baby girl

Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne are expecting a baby girl.
The 'Only Way is Essex' star revealed they are having a daughter together, after announcing last August that the 22-year-old actress was pregnant.
Writing on the image-sharing social network where he posted a photo of themselves with a pink and purple cake, he said: "Can't keep it a secret anymore.. Me and @jacjossa are having a girl! (sic)"
The 23-year-old hunk already has a son, Teddy, from a previous relationship, but the tot - who is expected to be born soon - will be the 'EastEnders' actress' first child.
Speaking last year when they first confirmed they were having a baby together - after less than a year of dating - Dan said he felt "blessed".
He gushed: "Becoming a father has been the most amazing thing to ever happen to me. I can't believe I'm going to be a dad again - I'm truly blessed."
While the couple seem to be loved-up in their most recent Instagram update, the Essex lad sparked speculation they had split up in November with a negative tweet about his love life.
Writing on Twitter in November, he said: "Relationships just do not seem to work [thumbs down and sad face emoticons]."
The TV personality has also expressed his doubts in the past over whether the young actress is "the one" for him.
He said: "Hopefully I'm with someone who knows enough about me to trust me. Is Jacqueline the one? It's hard to say but I'd like to think so."

Richard E Grant cast in Jekyll and Hyde TV adaptation

Richard E Grant and Natalie Gumede have been cast in ITV's 'Jekyll and Hyde' adaptation.
The 57-year-old actor will star opposite the former 'Coronation Street' actress and 'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant in an upcoming television version of the novella, which is due to begin filming next month.
The 30-year-old star - who recently appeared in the 'Doctor Who' Christmas special in which she aided the Doctor and Clara in defeating dream crabs - will play a woman called Bella who is in a love triangle with Dr Jekyll's grandson in the updated version of the drama, with Richard portraying the head of a mysterious government department.
The 10-part series - which has been created by 'Fast Show' comic Charlie Higson - will be inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson's classic about kind-hearted Dr. Jekyll who turns into evil Mr. Hyde after drinking a potion he has brewed in his laboratory.
The updated series - which will be set in 1930s London and is expected to be broadcast in 2016 - will focus on the original protagonist's grandson, Robert Jekyll (Tom Bateman), who discovers he has inherited his grandfather's unfortunate trait of transforming into the monstrous alter-ego and embarks on an investigation to uncover why he has been "cursed".
Speaking about the series last year, Charlie, 56, said: "It's an exciting challenge to take Stevenson's work and use it as the basis for a new 'Jekyll and Hyde'.
"So many superheroes with secret dual personalities have been brought to life thanks to 'Jekyll & Hyde'. He's one of literatures most important and influential characters and it's a privilege to be rediscovering him."

Lucy Mecklenburgh won’t return to TOWIE

Lucy Mecklenburgh has "no plans" to return to 'The Only Way is Essex'.
The 23-year-old beauty - who is dating Olympic gymnast Louis Smith - quit the show last year and though she misses socialising with her castmates, she is happy to be able to live her life under less scrutiny.
She said: "There are parts I miss, like everyone going out for dinner and being sociable - but it's a big invasion of privacy and I have no plans to go back."
Because many of her friends are still on the show, the fitness fanatic doesn't get to see them very often.
She said: "Everyone is so busy, especially when they're filming. Sam Faiers came to see me on 'Tumble' and me and Lydia Bright speak to each other a lot, although it's hard to find time to meet up."
While she is happier away from the show, Lucy - who has relaunched herself as a diet and fitness guru - insists it is not an option for her to retreat entirely out of the public eye.
Asked if she has thought about leaving the spotlight, she told OK! magazine: "No. There's less of my life in the public eye now and I'm happier. Also, I don't think it's an option for me now.
"There are lots of positives though - I've got 75,000 girls getting help and fitness advice from using my website."

Gemma Collins has landed her own TV show

Gemma Collins has landed her own TV show.
The 33-year-old star - who quit 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' in December after just three days in camp - is to front her own beauty and fashion show for real, curvy women set in her boutique in Essex, the Daily Mirror newspaper reports.
A source shared: "Gemma's made no secret of the fact she's diva-like and has her heart set on her own show.
"She's delighted with this idea of a programme for real ladies and genuinely wants to help inspire other women with natural, curvy bodies to feel confident in themselves and dress for success - whether it's an outfit for a job interview, date or wedding."
The 'Only Way Is Essex' favourite is said to have already begun filming a pilot for the show after welcoming cameras into her store in Brentwood.
Gemma is now on the lookout for shapely, natural women from across Britain to appear on the show and is also hoping some of her TOWIE co-stars - such as Lydia Bright and Billie Faiers - will make an appearance.

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace calls police over sex party photo

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has called the police after a photo allegedly showing her taking part in a sex party appeared online.
The photo was posted by former 'Big Brother' contestant Sallie Axl, who claimed it showed Aisleyne in a compromising position with 'Coronation Street' actor Les Dennis.
The star - who competed on the seventh series of 'Big Brother' - denied the photos were of her and promptly alerted the authorities.
She wrote on Twitter: "Regarding the picture WHICH IS NOT ME, & subsequent press. I'm waiting with my solicitor for the police to come & take a statement.
"Before commenting further on the horrible photo. I've been advised to wait til after my statement. #silenceisstrength.
"Thanks @metpoliceuk. (sic)"
She later added that "legal action" is now under way, writing: "THANKU to the legal team who worked all day on finding the source of the picture that is not me. Well done. It's now established who & where. (sic)"
Les, 61, was also quick to deny he was pictured in the raunchy photo, quoting lyrics from rapper Shaggy's hit song 'It Wasn't Me' to declare his innocence.
He tweeted: "A horrible photo and rumour has been posted about me. Not going to give the idiot responsible publicity. To quote Shaggy 'It wasn't me'.(sic)"
Sallie posted the photo online after she became embroiled in a bitter dispute on the social media site with Aisleyne and her friend Nicola McLean.
Nicola sparked the argument when she referred to Alicia Douvall as a "h*e", prompting Salli to remind the 33-year-old glamour model of her ex-husband Tom Williams' alleged infidelity with the 'Celebrity Big Brother' star.
She wrote:"Haha @NicolaMcLean it's the girl your boyfriend f**ked behind your back #CBB awful".
Aisleyne jumped to Nicola's defence, tweeting: "Hate giving STINK P**** H*** airtime but B**h wants to chat s**t abt my girl? KNOW URSELF @sallieaxl can't WAIT to bump into u (sic)."

Rachel Stevens joins Strictly Come Dancing tour

Rachel Stevens has joined the 'Strictly Come Dancing' tour.
The S Club 7 star is set to join celebrities from the latest series of the BBC One ballroom dance contest on their UK tour following the announcement that runner-up Frankie Bridge is pregnant with her and husband Wayne Bridge's second child and will not be able to take part.
Rachel - who came in second place on Strictly in the 2008 series and went on to dance in the 2009 tour before appearing in the 2014 Christmas special - will dance with Frankie's dance partner Kevin Clifton.
She said: "I'm really happy for Frankie and Wayne - it's great news to start the New Year with! I know she's disappointed not to be doing the tour - I was supporting Team Frankie during the show and she was fantastic, but I'm happy to be able to step in for her."
Despite having a busy year ahead following her and her S Club bandmates' - Jo O'Meara, Hannah Spearritt, Bradley McIntosh, Jon Lee, Tina Barrett and Paul Cattermole - announcement that they're reuniting for their own UK tour this year, Rachel couldn't resist getting back on the dancefloor.
She added: "It's no secret that I loved my time in Strictly and that I'm a big fan of the dances so I'm excited to be back and to get my dancing shoes on again. Today [09.01.15], I'm straight into rehearsals learning the routines and meeting the guys and next week we'll be on tour seeing fans across the country - I can't wait!"
The brunette beauty will join 2014 champion Caroline Flack, finalists Simon Webbe and Mark Wright and contestants Scott Mills, Alison Hammond and Thom Evans on the tour hosted by spin-off show 'It Takes Two' presenter Zoe Ball.

Matthew Gravelle not left alone with his children

Matthew Gravelle has joked his wife is wary of leaving their children alone with him after he was unveiled as a killer in 'Broadchurch'.
The 38-year-old actor's character was revealed as the killer of 12-year-old Danny Latimer, whose body was found at the bottom of a cliff, at the end of the first series of the ITV drama and he's now joked his wife Mali Harries has been slightly worried about letting him look after their children Tomi and Ela on his own.
He said: "My wife still finds me attractive so that's something. My ego is unchanged. I'm still at home ... She doesn't like to leave me at home with the kids by a cliff."
In a shock twist Matthew's character Joe Miller pleaded not guilty to the murder in the first episode of the highly anticipated second series, leaving fans questioning whether he really is responsible.
And while it remains a huge secret, Matthew admits he's confided in his wife, saying: "It's a pretty shoddy marriage if you can't confide in your own wife.
"She knows whether or not I did it but she doesn't know the details from episode to episode.
"I'm very lucky to have such a trustworthy wife."
The 'Son of God' actor admits it was difficult keeping his involvement in the second series a secret as people kept offering him their condolences for being written out of the show.
He added to The Sun newspaper: "It was definitely a challenge keeping the secret. I think most people didn't expect I'd be in it anyway.
"They kept saying, 'Bless you, you're not in the second series are you?' They'd say, 'Oh, that's a bit rough'."

Chloe Sims and Elliott Wright split up for good?

Chloe Sims and Elliott Wright have reportedly split up again.
The 'Only Way Is Essex' stars are said to have parted ways for a second time after rekindling their relationship late last year following a number of rows.
A source said: "Chloe has no regrets about having got back with Elliott - she took him away for his birthday last year and they had a lovely time. They also had a romantic Christmas together.
"But in the last few weeks, things have deteriorated and they've been fighting a lot.
"They have now decided that enough is enough and have called it quits. And this time round, Chloe is saying that over really does mean over."
The 32-year-old reality TV star first got together with 34-year-old Elliott on TOWIE when she revealed she wanted a "fairytale relationship" with him.
However, they broke up for the first time just a few months later when she found out he'd slept in the same bed as another woman and although she decided to give him another chance, it now appears their romance is over for good.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "It's obviously sad that their attempts to patch things up have not worked out.
"But Chloe believes this is for the best."
Meanwhile, Chloe - who has nine-year-old daughter Madison from a previous relationship - recently teased fans by posting a picture on Instagram in which Elliott appears to be wresting his hand on a mysterious bump on her belly.
However, Elliott - who has two children with his ex-wife - denied they were expecting a baby by posting a picture of Chloe on New Year's Eve in which she "clearly" looks "not pregnant".
