Kym Marsh's son is "really good mates" with her fiancé.
The 'Coronation Street' actress admits her eldest child, son David Cunliffe, gets on so well with her husband-to-be Dan Hooper that they often go to the pub together without her.
Quizzed on whether Dan had asked her older children for their blessing before proposing to her, she said: "Yeah he did, he went to them and David, my son, and Dan are really, really good mates. They go out and have a drink together and everything."
The 38-year-old star - who has 19-year-old David and 17-year-old daughter Emilie Cunliffe from a previous relationship - also revealed her and ex-husband Jamie Lomas' three-year-old daughter Polly gets on like a house on fire with Dan's daughter Lexi, four, from his relationship with 'Hollyoaks' actress Stephanie Waring.
She explained: "Well my little girl Polly, she'll be four in March, so they're both a similar age and they get on so well they're like best friends."
Kym claimed she couldn't imagine being in a relationship with someone who didn't get on with her children or whose children didn't get on with hers.
Speaking on ITV's 'Loose Women' she added: "Lexi, that's Dan's little girl, has a great relationship with David and Emilie also because they're like, that's another little sister. That's how they see her and we're very much a family unit.

Alexander O'Neal didn't want to "deal with Arabs" in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house.
The 'Criticize' hitmaker saw Ken Morley removed from the reality show house after he referred to him as a "negro" and continued to use "unacceptable and offensive" language and while Alexander claims he hates racism "more than anything", he insists Arabs are "distrustful".
He said: "I just don't approve of racism. I just disapprove of it so much. I don't advocate it, I don't want anything to do with it or with anybody that feels that way ... We are all completely different and we are made different for a purpose."
The 61-year-old star added: "Ok, honestly, Arabs. Arabs - I try not to hate anybody but they are probably my most disliked and most distrustful person in the whole world ... So I was hoping I didn't have to deal with Arabs in the Big Brother house."
Alexander believes Arab immigrants in the United States are encroaching on African-American neighbourhoods and "taking" their jobs.
He told The Sun newspaper: "Black people are very trusting of people of colour, we are liberal to people of colour.
"But I've never approved of them, I've never approved of them running our stores.
"We've got Arabs in Mississippi, I'm like, 'What the f**k? We're out in the country here and you've got Arabs running this country store.
"Why are you up here taking our money, taking our jobs - I don't approve of that."
The R'n'B singer - who claims Arab taxi drivers refuse to let black men in their cabs - may want to keep his views to himself in the house, however, as former 'EastEnders' actress Nadia Sawalha is said to be "very proud" of her Jordanian roots.
A source shared: "Nadia Sawalha is half Arabic as her actor father Nadim is Jordanian ... She would be disgusted to hear Alexander talk in that way and certainly wouldn't stand for any negativity towards Arabs."

Calum Best is to shoot a documentary about his late father.
The former model is set to start work on the programme about football legend George Best's struggle with alcoholism when his stint on 'Celebrity Big Brother' comes to an end.
The 33-year-old star has called on Oscar-winning producer Simon Egan - who is known for his work on the critically acclaimed 'The King's Speech' - to help make the documentary, which will trace the footballer's roots.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Calum will present the film and is excited about the opportunity to tell his father's story.
"The fact a huge Oscar winner and his production company are backing the project means he is assured the subject matter will be respectfully handled.
"Some of George's old celeb pals are going to be interviewed, as well as figures from the sports world."
The series will also include an "emotional" interview with Calum's mother Angie, whose relationship with the legendary sportsman ended due to his fondness for drink and liaisons with other women, before his death aged 59 in 2005.
The source explained: "Calum will also interview his mother Angie who left George because of his womanising and drinking -- so that will be emotional."
The movie - which is tipped to be screened at a number of international film festivals - will be produced in a similar style to 'Senna', which followed the life of racing driver Ayrton Senna da Silva, who tragically died in an accident during the San Marino Grand Prix in 1994.
The source added: "As Calum is a producer he could get a gong if all goes well."

Ken Morley's wife claims he picked up his bad language from Shakespeare.
The former 'Coronation Street' actor's wife Sue has jumped to his defence after he was removed from the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house for using "unacceptable and offensive language" insisting he must have picked it up from books and TV series.
She said: "I think possibly - how should I put it - he's been reading lots of Jacobean and Shakespearean drama.
"He will have watched 'Breaking Bad' as well. I know my son's got it. He would have got it from there."
The loyal wife - who tied the knot with Ken in 1989 - also went on to claim that her husband's fellow housemates on the Channel 5 show were far too sensitive about his racist and sexist remarks.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I was surprised by the level of offence. This was collective hysteria. Everything he said was in a jokey, conversational tone.
"I am puzzled by the way CBB made certain judgements about him. I think the women need to calm down and enjoy themselves. There's far worse things that could happen than this."
Sue also claimed she wasn't bothered by Ken's claims he'd watched 27-year-old Cami Li and 21-year-old Chloe Goodman in the bathroom because they have the "best a***s in the world.
She added: "I didn't mind in the slightest.
"There he is in this house with these scantily dressed, beautiful young women - I'm not surprised. A lot of men would have agreed with him."

David Tennant wants a role in 'Peppa Pig'.
The 'Broadchurch' actor has two young children, daughter Olive, three, and 20-month-old son Wilfred, with wife Georgia Moffett, and is stepfather to her son Ty, 12, from a previous relationship and because he's a parent he admits he doesn't get to watch much television apart from kids' programmes.
He's up for voicing a character in cartoon 'Peppa Pig' because he thinks he would get "genuine approval" if he starred in a show actually watched by his children.
Asked what shows he is a fan of in a BBC Radio 1 interview, he said: "I watch a lot of children's television, mostly I watch children's television.
"[Would I voice a character on Peppa Pig?] Of course I would."
Speaking about the quality of British children's TV, he added: "CBeebies is the only place I'd get genuine approval for working on. The children's television in our country is of very high quality because if you flick on channels not from our country there's a lot of rubbish, so CBeebies and CBBC should be something we're proud of."
Tennant recently admitted he doesn't see "the point" in holidays and would rather just stay at home with his family when he isn't working.
He said: "These days I don't really see the point of holidays. I never quite know what you're supposed to do.
"It changes a bit when you've got kids but I'm very happy staying at home and pottering around. I'm away so much for work that when I've got time off I just want to stay in London."
However, the Scottish actor hasn't always been so apathetic towards getaways, admitting that he has fond memories of holidaying on an island off the coast of Scotland as a youngster.
The former 'Doctor Who' star joked: "It was everything you'd expect of a beach holiday in Scotland - freezing temperatures, getting stung by jellyfish and avoiding the sewage outlet as you tried to swim in the sea. If there was a glimpse of sun, there was an imperative to put your trunks on even if it was pretty miserable. But that's what childhood memories are all about isn't it? I loved it."

Katie Price is rumoured to be entering 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The television personality and former glamour model has reportedly been enticed to join the reality TV series after landing a "six figure" sum to replace axed housemates Ken Morley and Jeremy Jackson, and could head in as soon as Friday (16.01.15).
On Tuesday (13.01.15), Emma Willis told viewers they could expect a "big, fat, fabulous surprise" during the evening's live episode, leading many to speculate a new housemate could be heading in.
Last month, presenter of 'Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side', Rylan Clark, claimed his pal is desperate to take part in the reality series, but said she would only do it "when the time is right."
He said: "Kate will do Celebrity Big Brother. I think it's inevitable that she will go in there, but when the time is right.
"Will it be in January? I doubt it, but as her mate, I do know how much she wants to do it."
Producers of the Channel 5 show will be hoping the star - who has children Harvey, 12, Junior, nine, Princess, seven, along with 17-month-old Jett and five-month-old Bunny - will add even more drama to the already manic house, due to her sour relationships with several current housemates.
Perez Hilton previously said "I think her moment has passed" about the businesswoman, while model Alicia Douvall, 35, has spoken badly of her in the past for stealing her lover, Dwight Yorke, and 34-year-old Calum Best is rumoured to have slept with the mother-of-five when he was younger.
Viewers could also see friction with 'The Apprentice' candidate Katie Hopkins, 39, if the 36-year-old star enters the house, as she slagged her off last year after naming her fifth child - and second with cheating husband, Kieran Hayler - Bunny.
She said at the time: "Makes sense, given your dad was going at it like a rabbit with all of mum's mates."

Dermot O'Leary expects to lose to Ant & Dec at the National Television Awards again.
The 'X Factor' host is nominated for Best Entertainment Presenter at the annual ceremony - which he will present for the fifth year - but thinks the popular Geordie duo will walk away with the prize for the 14th time.
He told heat magazine: "Me, Keith Lemon and Bradley Walsh might as well give it to them now. In fact, there should be an award about who's going to be a runner-up to Ant and Dec."
'The X Factor' is nominated for Best Talent Show and Dermot doesn't think programme chief Simon Cowell will be very happy if it fails to win.
Asked how he thinks Simon will react to losing, he said: "Badly. Even if we were playing 'Strictly' [Come Dancing] at tiddlywinks, he'd want to win."
While Dermot is comfortable in front of the camera now, he recently admitted he used to vomit before every live TV appearance.
He said: "I first started on T4 and used to throw up every Sunday. Every single Sunday I was so nervous about going on air."
The 41-year-old presenter - who is married to TV and film producer Dee Koppang - said that the pressure of hosting the Saturday night primetime television series has lessened over time, but that nerves still take hold of him before the show begins.
He continued: "You just get used to it after a while. And it's a weird thing to say, but the 30 seconds before the 'X Factor' starts, the doors come out like that... those first 30 seconds are the most terrifying of the weekend."

Nikki Sanderson "definitely" wants to be a mother in the future.
The 'Hollyoaks' actress has confessed she would love to have children one day but rather than making her feel broody, becoming an on-screen mother has satisfied her maternal urges for the time being.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I'm a maternal person anyway and I would definitely like to be a mum in the future but I'm very content with my two beautiful girls ... There are two girls who play Minnie [her on-screen daughter] and I love spending time with them and having snuggles.
"I just love it, I'm loving being an on-screen mum and my two girls are just amazing."
The 30-year-old star plays domestic abuse victim Maxine Minniver in the Channel 4 soap and insists that while it's been hard to see her character become a shell of her former self, she doesn't let it affect her outside of work.
Quizzed on whether it's difficult to separate Maxine's feelings towards her abuser Patrick Blake (Jeremy Sheffield) and boyfriend Dodger Savage (Danny Mac) from her own feelings about the actors who play them, she explained: "It is easy because it is a job and you're playing a character but I have so much love for them in real life.
"With Dan and Jeremy, I've got a lot of love for them because they've both been my on-screen partners and they've both been a big part of my life over the last two years."
Nikki is set to go up against 'EastEnders' stars Danny Dyer (Mick Carter) and Kellie Bright (Linda Carter) and former 'Emmerdale' actress Verity Rushworth (Donna Windsor) in the Serial Drama Performance category at the National Television Awards next week and admits she's dreamed of being shortlisted for one of the prestigious prizes for years.
The brunette beauty added: "I don't think there's a word that can say how excited I am ... I've been doing this for a billion years now and I used to go to the NTAs fifteen years ago and watch people on stage and I used to dream, 'Oh my God, one day I would love for my name to be mentioned', and now it's a reality. I can't believe it."
