Big Sean has been leaning on his girlfriend Ariana Grande following the death of his grandmother.
The 26-year-old rapper - who confirmed he is dating the brunette in October - has been left devastated following the loss of his granny Mildred Leonard, who passed away last Friday (19.12.14) aged 93, but the 21-year-old singer is said to be doing a great job comforting him.
An insider told Hollywood Life: "Ariana has never seen Sean so emotional in her life and she's comforting him as best as she can. His grandmother was such a driving force in his life.
"It's a somber moment for Sean, but it's actually bringing him and Ariana much closer together. He's leaning on her and she's as strong as a rock. This time is completely difficult for Sean and he'd be lost without Ariana."
Sean took to his Instagram account last night (23.12.14) to post a picture of his grandma and attached a heartfelt tribute to her in which he admitted he was having a "hard time" accepting her passing and thanked her for making a "better life" for his family.
He wrote: "My grandma passed away a couple days ago. I haven't said anything to anyone because honestly I feel like she's still here. I definitely can feel her consciousness. Im having a hard time accepting her death, but I must acknowledge my grandma's life, a true hero. She was a black female Captain in World War 2 (one of the 1st), got her degree at West Virginia State University, and her Masters degree at U of M. After school she became a police officer in Detroit, which at the time was very rare for women to be officers in Detroit. Then she became a caring teacher and counselor. She was the best grandma anyone could ever ask for. From the Sunday Dinners, home cooked meals, and how special she made us feel on our birthdays by baking us the cakes we loved most. She put her heart and more into anything she was involved in. She gave as much as she could to her family and the world! She completely made something out of nothing. When I was growing up, there were people interviewing my grandma about her life because she's done and seen so many amazing things. She supported me so much in every aspect and part of my life, even when I went against what was becoming traditional in our family, and didn't go to college to pursue music. She made a better life for me and the rest of my family, and I will forever be grateful I got to know and be loved by such an amazing woman! I'm so proud of her. She was truly a treasure to this world and everyone she came in contact with. She's the reason why I'm so passionate about giving back. Her spirit will live through her family. We miss and love u so much Grandma! (sic)"

Katherine Jenkins will spend her first Christmas as a married woman at her mother's house.
The 34-year-old singer and her spouse, American filmmaker-and-artist Andrew Levitas - who she tied the knot with in September after less than a year of dating - are going to her family home in Neath, South Wales, for the festive holiday and she admits she couldn't imagine celebrating the day anywhere else, even if her husband is from New York.
She said: "Christmas isn't Christmas unless I'm home. Mum cooks and we do all the chopping and clearing up. It'll be a very special one this year."
Katherine's Welsh roots are very important to her and inspired her latest album 'Home Sweet Home'.
She explained: "This is all about coming home on a lot of levels. Before I started this album, I went back to my very first album.
"I listened to it, looked at the picture of myself on the cover, and thought about the girl I was, the music that inspired me, that got me to where I was and I felt like it was time to return to my roots.
"There are songs on the album I'm so proud of."

Simon Cowell is excited about his first Christmas as a father.
The music mogul will spend the festive season in Barbados with girlfriend Lauren Silverman, their 10-month-old son Eric, his ex-girlfriend Sinitta and her kids Magdalena, nine and Zac, eight, and the singer says her former lover loves being around children.
She said: "Simon's getting excited about his first Christmas with Eric. The little one can crawl and pull himself up now and he spends all his time on all fours racing around with Simon's Yorkshire terriers Squiddly and Diddly. He thinks he's a dog!
"Simon loves sitting back and hearing all the children's laughter. It brings him such joy being around them all.
"He arranges a giant Christmas tree for the villa and Lauren will put a mountain of toys underneath. Magdalena and Zac's eyes always pop out on stalks. Last year Simon gave Zac a miniature electronic Ferrari!"
The 46-year-old star is planning to buy some educational gifts for little Eric.
She explained: "As my kids are bilingual, because our nanny is French, I'm getting Eric some French books and toys so he can learn the language too - they'll all be able to chat together and we won't know what they're saying!"
As for Simon, Sinitta thinks his ideal gift would be another child.
She added: "Simon definitely wants more kids. His ideal Christmas present might be baby number two!"

Bryan Ferry's 24-year-old son is fighting for his life after a horrific head-on car crash.
Merlin Ferry is in a "critical" condition in hospital after suffering multiple fractures to his legs, pelvis and left arm as well as a head injury as a result of a three-vehicle collision in Shropshire, central England, on Monday night (22.12.14).
Firefighters spent more than 45 minutes trying to get the 69-year-old musician's son out of the wreckage which left his silver Volvo car unidentifiable, with his brother Otis, 32, describing it as a "mangled box of tin".
Merlin is being treated in the critical care unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, central England, after having a life-saving operation, and was said to have woken up yesterday morning (23.12.14) thinking he had missed Christmas.
Otis wrote on Instagram page: "He had a head-on collision, has lots of broken bones and is having an operation on his heart as we speak.
"He was conscious before he went into theatre and his biggest concern was that he had missed Christmas! He is in the best possible hospital for this type of procedure. (sic)"
Bryan - who has two other children, Isaac and Tara - is thought to be by Merlin's bedside at the hospital, where he was taken after the incident which occurred on a country lane.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: "On arrival, crews found two cars that had suffered massive damage after a collision.
"The trapped man was in the first car. The driver, who was estimated to be about 30 years old had suffered multiple fractures to his legs, pelvis, left arm and had a head injury. Working with firefighters, ambulance staff very carefully freed him.
"He was assessed at the scene and had splints put in place along with advanced pain relief before being taken on blue lights to the Major Trauma Centre at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. The trauma doctor travelled with the patient.
"The driver of the second car had managed to get out of his vehicle. It suffered a small fire but a member of the public used a fire extinguisher to put it out.
"The man, who was estimated to be in his 40s, had suffered minor injuries, but due to the level of damage to the vehicles, was taken to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for precautionary checks."
One of the other drivers is said to have escaped the crash with minor injuries, and the third motorist was not injured.
Otis later took to his Twitter account to thank Wellington Fire Service for getting his brother out of the wreckage.
He wrote: "thank you for extracting my Brother alive from what looks like a mangled box of tin. We are all continuing to pray (sic)"
Merlin was joined by Isaac, Tara and Otis at Buckingham Palace three years ago to see their father - who divorced their mother Lucy in 2003 after 21 years of marriage - pick up a CBE for both his international success with his group Roxy Music and his solo career.

The 25-year-old actress gave birth to her and her fiance Wladimir Klitschko's first child, Kaya, on December 9, but the blonde star admits her body is still feeling the effects of her pregnancy and she is trying to work out which parts of her body will return to normal eventually and which won't.
She said: "I feel like an 80-year-old woman trying to go down the stairs, you know, please tell me this is temporary. But I know some things will never be the same again.
"I'm limping around. I'm still trying to figure out what [pregnancy] has done to my body, how it's changed it. What's temporary and what's permanent."
Hayden admits her and the 38-year-old boxer's child is putting her "through the ringer" with her "insatiable appetite" but admitted she doesn't mind because her bundle of joy is so adorable.
She said: "She's really so sweet. I'm sure that's the way it's meant to be, because when they are putting you through the ringer you're like, 'You are so lucky you're cute!' "
Hayden and Wladimir are enjoying getting to know their little one but the 'Nashville' star was quite glad of a rest when the fighter's mother insisted on taking care of Kaya for a night.
She added to PEOPLE magazine: "Wlad's mom was desperate to take the baby for a night. She looks like she didn't get much sleep, but I feel well-rested!
"[It is] such a surreal experience and so out of body. You're suddenly looking at this little thing like, 'Oh, that was you in my belly this whole time.'
"[We're] just getting to know her."

Kanye West is "jealous" of Taylor Swift.

A source revealed: "There's just something about Taylor that sends Kanye into a rage. He just doesn't get why she's so successful."
The 37-year-old rapper is believed to have "lost it" when he discovered her 'Shake It Off' video had received nearly eight times more views than his 'Bound 2' video.
A source shared to Star magazine: "He can't let go of a grudge, and it's never more apparent than with Taylor.
"If he hears her music or her name, he'll curse Taylor out as long as anyone will listen."
His "jealousy" is reportedly only getting worse now Jay Z has refused to include Kanye in his musical plans with Taylor, Beyonce and Justin Timberlake.
A source explained: "Kanye doesn't see things over his ego very often - if ever - and he is upset that he isn't in the club with Taylor, Jay Z, Beyonce and JT."
The 'Blank Space' hitmaker's dislike of Kanye is believed to be so strong that "Jay Z doesn't want to ruffle any feathers with her by bringing Kanye into the fold on his Mount Rushmore idea."
However, the loss doesn't appear to be too upsetting for the 45-year-old rapper and music producer who is "moving on".
A source shared: "Jay Z did his thing with Kanye and he is moving on to bigger and better things."

"She even picked up some Foria oil for enhancing orgasms and sexual appetite."

This comes just weeks after Miley celebrated her 22nd birthday with a penis-shaped bucking bronco.
Last month, the star threw a Happyland-themed birthday bash at Factory Nightclub in West Hollywood, accompanied by boyfriend, Patrick Schwarzenegger.

Rochelle Humes and her husband Marvin are dining out for Christmas lunch this year.
The Saturdays singer will be spending the big day with just her spouse and their 19-month-old daughter Alaia-Mai and so she has decided rather than cook a big turkey that won't be eaten, the family are going to a restaurant for their festive feast.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I love cooking but there's no point in just cooking a massive Christmas dinner for me and Marv. That's a little depressing so we're going to go out for lunch. My mum is a paramedic and so is my sister and they're working this year, and they worked last year, because they prioritise people with young children and young families so obviously we're not so young anymore and my sister hasn't got children. They'll be finished by early evening. Marvin's parents are away this year so I think it will just be us three in the day and then my mum and everyone will come over in the evening."
Rochelle, 25, and Marvin, 29, made a pact this year not to go "mad" and buy lots or gifts for one another, but as the festive celebration gets close the pop star is nervous her husband will have broken their agreement and will make her look bad on Christmas morning.
She admitted: "We said we weren't going to go mad buying presents this year. You know when you have that year and I've said, 'Well if you're saying that lets both commit to it then.' Because I'll happily not go mad and not buy him loads but I don't then want him to have got me lots and then I look like a scrooge. You know what it's like, we don't need anything and we've got our daughter so it's quite fun to do the whole present thing with her. We'll see though."
