Adele's music is for "f***ing grannies", says Noel Gallagher.
The 48-year-old former Oasis rocker blasted the 'Hello' star for producing what he thinks is a "sea of cheese" that is only suitable for geriatrics to enjoy and he isn't afraid to be honest because he believes her songs are so dull.
Asked whether he enjoys listening to the London songstress - who broke the record for the fastest-selling album in UK chart history with the release of her third LP '25', a record that was held by Oasis' 'Be Here Now' since 1997 - he said: "If someone wants to know what I think of Adele, I'll f***ing tell them ... I just don't see what all the fuss is about. I don't like her music. I think it's music for f**king grannies..."
He added that it's a: "sea of cheese" and lamented that "music has nosedived into f**ing blandness".
Noel has a reputation for blasting other artists and their music and he accepts his outspoken reputation precedes him which means he never gets a chance to praise the artists he likes.
The 'In The Heat of the Moment' hitmaker told Australian website Music Feeds: "It is interesting that no-one ever talks about my love of U2 and Coldplay, but there you go. Lately, the one I've been asked about is Adele."

CeeLo Green insists his drug charges were "blown out of proportion."
The 'Forget You' hitmaker avoided jail time last year after he pleaded "no contest" to a charge of furnishing a controlled substance and rape allegations that were also dropped due to a lack of evidence.
Speaking on 'The Steve Harvey Morning Show' radio programme, he insisted the case had been "blown out of proportion" but conceded that he had been "humbled" by the circumstances that began in 2012.
He said: "We are human beings and we make mistakes, but I am not my mistakes. I am here, humbled and humanised and with a heartfelt new album that really does address the wisdom and understanding that I got out of the experience. So I'm very fortunate for that."
Green - who has just released his new album 'Heart Blanche' - was accused of spiking the drink of his dinner date with ecstasy at a sushi restaurant in July 2012, and was sentenced to three years of formal probation and ordered to complete 360 hours of community service.
And in 2014 the star was criticised for posts he made on Twitter relating to his sexual battery court case.
He tweeted at the time: "People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!
"If someone is passed out they're not even WITH you consciously! so WITH Implies consent".
After temporarily deleting his Twitter account due to the backlash, he re-activated it and posted the following apology: "I truly and deeply apologise for the comments attributed to me on Twitter. Those comments were idiotic, untrue and not what I believe."

Justin Bieber has announced the UK leg of his 'Purpose World Tour'.
The 21-year-old pop sensation revealed on Wednesday (09.12.15) he will play eight shows in support of his fourth studio album 'Purpose', to be held in stadiums across England and Scotland in 2016.
The British dates will follow the North American leg and will kick off at London's O2 Arena on October 11 next year and conclude in Glasgow's SSE Arena.
Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase from music-fan app Fahlo from 4pm on Friday (11.12.15) and general tickets will go on sale at 9 am December 17.
Bieber first announced his tour during an appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' back in November, saying: "I'm actually going on tour. This was the only thing I had to remember, and I don't remember it. You can go to my website. What am I doing? I'm here to promote an album and a tour."
Already the 64 shows in Canada and the US have sold out, and the heartthrob has already released three tracks from 'Purpose' - which dropped last month and went to number one in 100 countries - including 'What Do You Mean', 'Sorry' and 'Mark My Words'.
And the singer admitted that the latter two songs dealt with his relationship with ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
Meanwhile, if Bieber's last trip around the planet is anything to go by, the 'Purpose World Tour' is set to be a lucrative venture for him.
The musician's 'Believe Tour' kicked off in 2012, had seven legs, spanned 15 months and featured over 150 concerts dates, and banked a reputed $209.2 million.

Eagles of Death Metal have thanked their "brothers" U2 for allowing them to "return to Paris."
The American rock band took to the stage to perform with the Irish super-group at the AccorHotels Arena on Monday night (07.12.15) - less than a month after 89 people were brutally killed at their concert at the Le Bataclan theatre during a series of terrorist attacks in the French capital in November.
Now the group - fronted by Jesse Hughes - have extended their "heartfelt" gratitude to Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullen, Jr. and Adam Clayton for their unwavering support since the attack.
Taking to their official Facebook page on Tuesday night (08.12.15), the band wrote: "We want to offer our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for everything our brothers in U2 did for us in the aftermath of the November 13 attacks. They reminded us that the bad guys never take a day off, and therefore we rock 'n rollers cannot either ... and we never will.
"We are incredibly grateful to U2 for providing us the opportunity to return to Paris so quickly, and to share in the healing power of rock 'n roll with so many of the beautiful people - nos amis - of this great city. Thank you to Bono, The Edge, Larry and Adam, thank you to their wonderful management, thank you to France, and thank you to everyone in the world who continues to prove that love, joy, and music will always overcome terror and evil. We look forward to fighting the good fight on many more fronts very soon, especially when we pick up our tour in 2016.
"See you again in February, Paris."
After the attacks that rocked the city on the evening of November 13, U2 - who were in Paris to perform two shows over the same weekend - offered Eagles of Death Metal use of their private plane to exit the city, and purchased them new phones after their devices were left inside the Bataclan theatre.
They continued to be a crutch of support in the weeks that followed and during the widely-anticipated return-to-Paris gig, the bands performed a cover of Patti Smith's 'People Have The Power' together, before U2 gave way and allowed Eagles Of Death Metal to close the show with their own track 'I Love You All The Time'.

Kendrick Lamar is being sued for $1 million (£666, 311) by a disgruntled fan following a meet-and-greet dispute.
The 'King Kunta' rapper was due to meet Whitney Larkins after she paid $350 (£233) for a VIP concert package but requested an additional three minutes "one-on-one time" with the singer, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
In the papers filed by Larkins, she claims that his manager Dave Free agreed to her request for time alone with Lamar for a "cash payment of $10,000" (£6,663), but after she "repeatedly tried to get more info from Lamar's team" she states she received an email the night before the show advising her that she had been banned from attending and would be refunded the original amount of $350 that she paid.
The eager fan added that it is with "deep sadness" that she did not get to meet the rapper and described Lamar's manager as "arrogant, snotty and an all-around bad dude from the rooter to the tooter!"
Despite her massive claim for damages following the dispute, Larkins praised Lamar as "one of the greatest rappers alive of all time who is on par with Tupac".
Elsewhere, the 28-year-old singer leads the 58th Grammy Awards 2016 nominations with 11 nods.
Lamar will be hoping February 15 is his lucky night when he contests for prizes including Album of the Year for 'To Pimp a Butterfly', Best Rap Album for the same record and the coveted Song of the Year with 'Alright'.

Tori Kelly "picked up" tips from Professor Green on how she should deal with fame.
The 'Should've Been Us' singer collaborated with the British rapper on his 2014 hit 'Lullaby' before she became a chart success herself, and confessed she would "follow" her new pal and copy his techniques on handling the music business.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she shared: "With Professor Green, he has been doing it (music) for so long, so even just being around him I naturally picked up things like how he did his interviews, how he deals with his fans, and all the publicity and stuff and getting to kind of follow him and shadow him in a way.
"I felt like he taught me a lot without really saying it, just being able to watch him and watch how he flows."
And the blonde beauty says she is glad her famous pals are in the music business "for the right reasons".
Speaking about 'Thinking Out Loud' hitmaker Ed Sheeran - who she met when they were both struggling to get noticed through their YouTube videos - she added: "I try to keep in touch with them.
"I saw Ed at the Global Citizens festival and it was literally seconds before he went on stage and he stopped to say hello.
"It's cool to keep running into people like that, that I know and have a lot of respect for ... It's cool that I've got to know and work with really solid people that are in it for the right reasons."

Lionel Richie contacted his legal team after Adele released her single 'Hello' to see if he had any ownership over the word.
The 66-year-old music icon - who released a chart-topping ballad of the same name in 1984 - has revealed he loves the parallels people have drawn between the two hits, even though he's had no luck with his lawyers.
Lionel quipped: "You can't use my word without my acknowledgement, thank you very much.
"I have been trying to figure out, from a legal point of view, can you own a word? So far all the lawyers have told me, 'No'. I've tried ... but the association is fabulous!"
What's more, Lionel revealed he's keen to collaborate with the London-born star, who recently released her new album '25'.
He told The Sun newspaper: "We will meet. When she's on tour I'll catch her backstage."
This comes shortly after Lionel revealed the pair have chatted and a duet is "in the works".
He explained: "We are going to be doing something together -that's already almost in the works ... I can almost say that we are talking, but right now she has a mission."

Pete Doherty was allegedly "decked" by Swervedriver singer Adam Franklin during an altercation in Hong Kong.
The Libertines - which includes Carl Barât, Gary Powell and John Hassall - were performing at the Clockenflap festival in the city alongside New Order and Damien Rice but things got messy at an after-party when Doherty "fell across the room" and "took a swing" at the fellow musician.
Swervedriver's frontman Adam told NME: "The hotel bar at the W Hotel in Kowloon was finally closing on Saturday night and someone invited Doherty and a few others back to our hotel room where there was a little after-party going on.
"He can't have been in the room for more than a minute or two before some kerfuffle broke out across the room - you'd have to ask him what that was about, although good luck getting anything out of him as he surely won't f***ing remember - and he fell across to the side of the room where I was sat having a chat with Gary and a couple of friends."
Proving that indie music is still rock 'n' roll as ever, the singer alleged that Doherty "then suddenly took a swing at me and missed, I stood up and decked him and that was it. Gary, who I have to say is a lovely bloke, helped get him out of the room and [Doherty] was screaming 'He hit me! He hit me!' while people were pointing out to him that he had in fact tried to hit me first".
The 'Setting Sun' hitmaker continued: "Apparently I had said, 'So you're the famous Pete Doherty?' As I stood over him before they dragged him out, which entertained everybody else in the room and probably annoyed him but what was I supposed to say? He hadn't even introduced himself!"
Meanwhile, a Libertines spokesperson confirmed that an incident had occurred in Hong Kong and told NME: "With adrenaline running high after the show in Hong Kong, there was an unfortunate short altercation/misunderstanding of which no one was injured and apologies were made soon after."

Noel Gallagher teased his fans were "freeloaders" during his acoustic set for BBC Radio 2 on Monday night (07.12.15).
The 48-year-old rocker performed an intimate show at the BBC Radio Theatre in London, and joked that the 400 strong crowd were cheap-skates because they were getting to watch him sing for free.
Taking a break to chat to the audience, he said: "So, competition winners eh? Was it a random draw or did you have to answer a question? So you didn't have to have any knowledge at all. How does that make you feel? Can't be as bad as me."
Noel was joined by his former Oasis bandmate Gem Archer - who formed the now-defunct Beady Eye with Liam Gallagher following the demise of the super-group - and he introduced the guitarist as "my former right-hand man, who is now my left-hand man".
Crouched over his guitar, sat in the middle of the stage, Noel was flanked by two guitars and backed by three saxophonists and a keyboard player.
His relaxed style and cool temperament mesmerised the eager crowd, who were on tender-hooks as the rocker paced himself through a mixture of Oasis classics and B-sides such as '(It's Good) To Be Free', 'Talk Tonight' and 'D'Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman?', 'Wonderwall' and 'Slide Away' and songs from his solo career such as 'The Death of You and Me', 'If I Had A Gun...' and 'AKA... What a Life!'.
As one fan shouted "stand up we can't see you!" Noel quipped: "I haven't got a guitar strap. If it wasn't going out on the telly I'd be calling you something other than James Blunt."
Noel closed his set with his best-loved song 'Don't Look Back In Anger' which prompted a singalong from the few hundred fans watching.
Noel Gallagher setlist:
'(It's Good) To Be Free'
'Talk Tonight'
'The Death Of You And Me'

'Sad Song'
