Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson admits 'Furious 7' "triggers lots of emotions" because of Paul Walker's death.
The 42-year-old actor stars alongside Walker in the latest action film in the franchise, but acknowledges his death in November 2013 gives 'Furious 7' a "unique" feel.
He told ITV's 'Good Morning Britain': "Obviously it triggers lots of emotions with the loss of Paul. I think that we have created something very unique and special with cars, big chase sequences, big action, all these things that are happening and exploding.
"Then you still have the core family and I think that resonates with people - black, white, whatever colour you are, religion, it doesn't matter, class, it doesn't matter, it's still family.
"It's still family and that's a very unique bond and foundation to work off of."
Last month, 'Furious 7' star Vin Diesel predicted the film will win the Oscar for Best Picture.
He said: "Universal is going to have the biggest movie in history with this movie.
"It will probably win best picture at the Oscars, unless the Oscars don't want to be relevant ever."
The 47-year-old star boasted that no film made in 2015 will match 'Furious 7' in terms of its "power".
He said: "This will win best picture. There is nothing that will ever come close to the power of this thing."

Mark Wahlberg is to produce a movie based on the Boston Marathon bombings.
The 43-year-old star, who was born in Boston, Massachusetts, is also keen to play the role of Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis, who's provided a first-hand account of the dramatic day in April 2013, when three people died and 264 others were injured.
Terry Press, the president of CBS Films, said: "There is nothing more compelling than a real story populated by real heroes.
"The team that we have assembled for this project is determined to give audiences a very personal look at what occurred during the days when the eyes of the world were on the city of Boston and how a group of contemporary patriots faced this crisis."
Deadline reports that Wahlberg will co-produce the film alongside Scott Stuber, Dylan Clark, Stephen Levinson and Michael Radutzky, with Nicholas Nesbitt assuming the role of the executive producer.
Meanwhile, Fox is currently working on a Boston Marathon-related movie of its own, with Casey Affleck set to produce and star in the film based on the book 'Boston Strong', written by Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge.
The film will mark the first time Affleck has earned a full producer credit since 2010's 'I'm Still Here'.

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje has been cast as Killer Croc in 'Suicide Squad'.
The 47-year-old actor, who starred as Mr. Eko on 'Lost', is to appear in the role of the DC Comics villain who is depicted in the comic books as one of Batman's biggest foes, TheWrap reports.
The casting sees Adewale make the move from Marvel - where he appeared in 'Thor: The Dark World' - to DC Comics for the much-anticipated David Ayer-directed movie, which also stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Jared Leto and Cara Delevingne.
His casting comes shortly after Scott Eastwood confirmed that he'd play a role in 'Suicide Squad', which is set for release in 2016.
It's been speculated Scott will appear in the role of Wonder Woman's love interest, although he has refused to reveal his character's name.
Asked about his future plans, Scott said: "I'm doing a movie called Suicide Squad."
Meanwhile, Will Smith has also promised to stay tight-lipped about the film until its release, joking he'd have to "kill" anyone who knew too much.
Speaking in February, Will was asked if he could talk about the film, to which he replied: "No sir, I'd have to kill you. It's top secret but it's really good, though. It's great stuff, fantastic. I'm already in shape for it, I'm already training."

Lupita Nyong'o expected her life to return to normality after winning the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2014.
The 32-year-old actress, who starred as Patsey in the Steve McQueen-directed '12 Years a Slave', has revealed she expected her ascent to fame to come to a halt after collecting the prestigious award.
She explained: "You know, I thought it would come to an end after the Oscars. I thought the Oscars would come and go and then all of a sudden everything would be back to normal and I'd be back in my apartment.
"You know what kept me sane? Not knowing. Having never really experienced that before... because this was new territory I had no normal. I had no sense of what was normal in that world. It was all new. I don't think [I would do it again]. Not to that extent."
Despite the increased levels of interest in her life, Lupita says she has no regrets about her chosen career path.
She told the British edition of Harper's Bazaar magazine: "I enjoy learning new things. I enjoy being uncomfortable for some reason. It's more interesting, more challenging ... That's why I'm an actor. Because there's nothing comfortable about being an actor. You're always out on a ledge, you know?"
The full interview appears in the May issue of Harper's Bazaar, on sale April 2.

Angelina Jolie prefers directing to acting.
The 39-year-old star, who helmed the biographical war drama film 'Unbroken' in 2014, has revealed she finds directing to be a more rewarding experience than appearing in front of the camera.
She explained: "I prefer directing to acting. There is huge freedom that comes from being behind the camera."
In the film, Jack O'Connell, 24, stars as athlete Louis 'Louie' Zamperini - who survived in a raft for 47 days after his bomber went down during World War II - and Angelina says it's particularly rewarding to work with such talented young people.
She told Elle.com: "It brings a lot of responsibilities as well, but is intensely rewarding.
"Particularly the chance to help draw out the best in young actors, like Jack O'Connell in Unbroken, who is a remarkable talent."
What's more, Angelina said that although she doesn't often reflect on a film once she's finished making it, 'Unbroken' created some particularly vivid memories.
She said: "I tend not to look back and dwell on a project once it is finished. But I do remember how intense the atmosphere was on-set filming some of the tougher scenes [such as] when Louie is being brutalized.
"It was very moving how always, after those scenes, the actors involved would check [and make sure that] everyone was okay and look out for each other."

Michelle Rodriguez almost left the 'Fast and Furious' franchise after disagreeing about the development of her character.
The 36-year-old beauty, who stars as Leticia 'Letty' Ortiz in the films, was originally due to form part of a love triangle with Dom (Vin Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker), but the idea was abandoned after Rodriguez threatened to walk away.
She explained: "I just said to myself, 'Look, you're going to just have to create your own archetype, doesn't matter if you go broke doing it'.
"And I almost did go broke, twice! But people finally got it: OK, Michelle is not malleable, you're not going to influence her by shining fame and money at her, and they stopped offering me that sort of stuff. But you know, it's a Catch-22."
The actress confesses her attitude has been a hindrance in some aspects, but she's proud of the fact that she's stuck by her principles and refused to back down.
She told NJ.com: "It's helped me and it's screwed me. I've stuck to my guns and I'm proud and people get it. But I also haven't carried a movie since 'Girlfight.'"

Dame Helen Mirren dreams of starring in the 'Fast and Furious' franchise.
The Oscar-winning actress has revealed she wants to play a "mad driver" in the action film series and says she's proven her credentials for the role by appearing on the popular motoring show 'Top Gear'.
The 69-year-old star shared: "My great ambition is to be in a Fast and Furious movie.
"I so want to be a mad driver in a Fast and Furious movie ... my claim to fame is I always do my own driving. I was on Top Gear, and I did [my lap] in a very good time.
"I keep putting it out there, and they never ask me. I'll be in Fast and Furious 8!"
What's more, Dame Helen said she's a huge admirer of Vin Diesel, who is synonymous with the franchise.

Scott Eastwood has been cast in 'Suicide Squad'.
The 29-year-old actor, who stars as bull-riding champion Luke Collins in 'The Longest Ride', has confirmed he'll also appear in the much-anticipated movie based on the DC Comics, but has refused to reveal which character he'll play.
Asked about his future plans, Scott told Entertainment Tonight: "I'm doing a movie called Suicide Squad."

Asked why he'd accepted the part, he said: "The opportunity to take on this nearly Shakespearean character - that's what graphic novels and comic books are becoming, right?
"[He's] this beautiful disaster of a character - what a big challenge."
Jared - who is vegan, meaning he doesn't consume animal products - also revealed he is finding it hard to gain weight for the part.
He said: "I'm trying to gain a lot of weight. It means I have to eat every couple of hours - and I'm terrible at eating a lot."
