Winter ‘Love Island’ bosses are on the hunt for "twins, goth girls and Essex lads".
The ITV2 dating show is set to air twice-a-year from 2020, with the winter series set in South Africa after Christmas, and producers are already on the hunt for contestants.
One guy, who was approached by show bosses at a Spanish pool party, told The Sun newspaper: "
"I was asked if I was single and they showed me credentials from ITV2.
"I was a bit nervous about giving my name so they then showed me an email where they’d been asked to find ‘types’. On there, it listed twins, goth girls and Essex lads."
An insider added: "It’s no secret that contestants for the show come through a lot of different channels.
"As well as tens of thousands of people applying through ITV’s website this year, the show accepts contestants put forward by talent scouts and agents, and producers approach people on social media too."
While the ITV2 show will move to a brand new villa in South Africa for a winter sun version of the show, the summer series will return to Europe later in the year as usual.

In response to this viewer appetite, a new batch of young singletons will deliver some highly anticipated post-Christmas romance and drama from our new and luxurious location."
Angela Jain, Managing Director ITV Studios Entertainment said: "We love making ‘Love Island’ for ITV2. And now 2020 is going to have even more love than before."
And it has been revealed that Caroline Flack will present both series of the show, while producers comedian Iain Stirling is set to do the voiceovers for both shows.
