Juice WRLD and Marshmello collaboration We Don’t Get Along is here

Juice WRLD and Marshmello have reunited once again, with a long‑rumoured collaboration finally stepping out of the vault.

We Don’t Get Along arrives as a fully realised single complete with a surreal claymation video, offering fans a fresh glimpse into the creative world late rapper Juice WRLD – who tragically died of an accidental overdose aged 21 in 2019 – was building before his death.

Rather than feeling like a leftover, the track lands as a reminder of why Juice and Marshmello’s partnership resonated so strongly the first time around.

The song leans into the emotional duality that defined Juice’s best work. Built on shadowy guitars and crisp trap drums, his melodies drift between confession and clarity, painting a picture of someone fighting to stay afloat while refusing to lose sight of the bigger story. The lyrics circle themes of isolation, pressure and perseverance, but there’s a spark of determination running through it — a sense that he wanted listeners to understand the full arc of his journey, not just the darkest chapters.

The video pushes that idea even further. Directed by animator Johnny McHone, the claymation world feels like a visual diary of Juice’s inner landscape.

One moment, he’s wandering through nature, the next, he’s floating as a literal head in the clouds, drifting through a purple dreamscape where reality bends and reshapes itself.

Marshmello pops up as a buoyant companion, while Juice morphs into shifting forms that echo the song’s emotional swings. Fans will also spot subtle nods to his legacy, including hidden “999” symbols tucked into the scenery.

The release arrives at a time when Juice’s influence continues to grow.

Last year’s Legends Never Die (5 Year Anniversary Edition) expanded the chart‑topping album with new tracks and collaborations, reinforcing just how wide his musical reach had become.

That project also spotlighted his earliest work with Marshmello, including the multi‑platinum hits Come and Go and Hate the Other Side, which helped cement their chemistry as one of the most natural pairings of his career.

Their creative link didn’t end there. The pair reunited on 2022’s Bye Bye, and Marshmello later appeared in the Fortnite‑themed video for Juice’s 2024 single Empty Out Your Pockets. We Don’t Get Along now joins that lineage, offering another piece of the story fans have been eager to hear.

Juice’s legacy also continues through the Live Free 999 Fund, founded by his mother, Carmela Wallace, to support young people facing mental health and addiction challenges. The organisation remains committed to carrying forward the honesty, vulnerability and hope that defined his music — qualities that shine through once again in this latest release.
