Stacey Solomon: Steve-O is a ‘big kid’

Stacey Solomon likes Steve-O because he's "a big kid".
The former 'X Factor' contestant was reported to have fallen for the 'Jackass' star while they were both competing on the Channel 4 snow sports competition 'The Jump' and she's now confessed the reason they get on so well is because he's "young at heart".
She said: "He is just the nicest person. He's young at heart and fun like me. But he's also very thoughtful."
The 25-year-old star admits she's usually hesitant to introduce her two sons from previous relationships, Leighton and Zachary, to men she dates but says they got to meet Steve-O, 40, while they were filming the reality series in Austria.
She told Star magazine: "He's like one of them - he's a big kid!"
Although the daredevil - whose real name is Stephen Glover - has since returned home to Los Angeles, Stacey claims he's been coming over to the United Kingdom to see her but isn't sure whether their relationship will work out.
She added: "He came over recently and he's coming back in April. I don't know how it would work so we're just going to see."

Lydia Bright wants to do I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Lydia Bright wants to compete on 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'
The 'Only Way is Essex' regular revealed she is eager to appear on the annual ITV reality show based in Australia and believes she would surprise viewers with her attitude towards the infamously vile Bush Tucker trials as she is always up for getting her hands dirty.
She exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I think I would do it, but you never know until you're in that situation how you'd react to it.
"I think that sometimes people think that I am very glamorous and stuff but I do think that I can get my hands stuck in."
The 25-year-old star - whose former co-stars Joey Essex, Mark Wright and Gemma Collins have previously featured on the show - added that although she wouldn't be keen to eat kangaroo genitals, a common task on the programme, she doesn't think she'd have a problem with the basic meals as she is a big fan of rice.
Speaking after the live launch of the Use Your Voice campaign, created to raise awareness and empower young people to vote in the General Election, she added: "The thing is, I love rice and beans so I would be fine. I love rice and beans, rice and peas, lentils."

Hugh Bonneville: Downton Abbey finale will be ‘extraordinary experience’

Hugh Bonneville believes bringing 'Downton Abbey' to an end will be an "extraordinary experience".
The 51-year-old actor, who plays Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham in the ITV period drama, is currently filming for the sixth and final series and admits he's excited to see his character's story come to an end.
He shared: "It's still so loved around the world and, really, when it came towards the conclusion of our last contract [writer] Julian [Fellowes] personally said I want to write one more, there's one more push I want to do in terms of bringing all the characters in to land properly rather than rushing it so that's what I'm doing now and it's going to be quite an extraordinary experience."
The 'Monuments Men' star claims he has no idea what will happen to Robert and his daughters Lady Edith Crawley (Laura Carmichael) and Lady Mary Crawley (Michelle Dockery) when the show concludes.
Speaking on ITV's 'Good Morning Britain', he explained: "I've only ready up to episode six of the nine. Nine being the Christmas special."
Asked what he'd like to see take place in his final scenes, he added: "Oh my goodness, that's a hard one. I don't know. I'd like the daughters to be happy, that's the main thing."
Hugh - who hinted earlier this year that 'Downton' would be coming to an end - admits he's known for some time.
He added: "Oh yes, because the scripts are developed a long time in advance and bearing in mind that we were amazed it went beyond series one.
"Those who follow the show might remember that at the end of series one there was a slightly odd feeling because some of it was wrapped up in case the show never returned and some of it was left open in case it did.
"So there was no guarantee the show was going to continue and then after a couple of years they said, the producers said we'd like to extend it a bit more and Julian Fellowes said I can do a bit more."

Joey Essex to quiz UK politicians

Joey Essex is set to quiz the UK's political leaders.
In a special episode of 'Educating Joey Essex', the former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star will be interviewing the leaders of four of the major political parties in the UK - the Conservative Prime Minister David Cameron, Labour leader Ed Miliband, current Deputy Prime Minister and leader of the Liberal Democrats party Nick Clegg and UKIP's Nigel Farage - and he's confessed he's looking forward to taking some "reem selfies" with them.
He said: "I've never voted before, but I'm really excited about getting to meet some of the most important people in the country to help me make my decision. I reckon I'll take some pretty reem selfies too."
In the run up to the General Election in May, the 24-year-old television personality will grill the leaders in four separate "sit-down chats".
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "The show will follow Joey's journey learning about politics. He will meet the leaders in different environments, such as at rallies and events but they will all be proper sit-down chats.
"Joey is the voice of youth and hugely influential and they all recognise the value in that. By the end he can hopefully make the decision to vote because at the moment he doesn't have a clue about any of it."
Meanwhile, Joey previously admitted he doesn't know much about politics.
He said: "I used to do politics in school but they didn't teach me the Prime Ministers. They taught me stuff like, things about the City... Is that politics?
"I would quite like to be the Prime Minister of Essex."
'Educating Joey Essex: General Election, what are you saying?!' will air on ITV2 later this year.

Dion Dublin to host Homes Under The Hammer

Dion Dublin is "nervous" about his new job hosting 'Homes Under The Hammer'.
The former Manchester United footballer has joined the team on the property renovation show and is looking to ex-footballer-turned-television presenter Gary Lineker for inspiration.
He said: "I'm nowhere near the finished article but I've got what it takes. I'm always nervous but being nervous makes you up your game. It's BBC One, it's prime time. I'm a really lucky man and I'm going to give it my best shot. I'm a million miles away from presenters out there. But hey, I'm just learning my trade, you know.
"It's like Gary Lineker. He wasn't so brilliant at the start but he's brilliant now. It's all about listening, learning and walking before you can run, and I intend to do that. No doubt people will be putting hate my way but I've had that for all my life, I'm a strong man. That ain't going to faze me."
And the 45-year-old sports star has been receiving tips from the show's current hosts Martin Roberts and Lucy Alexander.
He added to The Sun newspaper: "Martin and Lucy have been great. They've individually pulled me aside and given me some gems of information.
"Lucy is a football fan, Martin is a busy man doing other stuff."

Jeremy Clarkson: Don’t blame producer for my sacking

Jeremy Clarkson has urged his fans not to blame the producer he's alleged to have punched for him being axed from 'Top Gear'.
The 54-year-old presenter learned earlier this week that he will not have his contract for the BBC motoring show renewed at the end of the month after he was investigated for launching a verbal and physical attack on Oisin Tymon over a platter of cold meat.
And he's now spoken out to ask his supporters to stop sending death threats to the producer "because none of this was his fault".
He's reported by the Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "All I would like to say is ... I wish people would leave Ois alone because none of this was his fault".
Following his announcement that Clarkson had been axed from the show, BBC director general Tony Hall said the corporation would be looking into how best to "renew" 'Top Gear' for 2016.
A number of names have now been linked to Clarkson's job, the latest being 'Speed with Guy Martin' host Guy Martin, who is also a motorcycle racer.
Others tipped to take over from the controversial presenter include BBC Radio 2 host Chris Evans, model and TV personality Jodie Kidd and comic Steve Coogan.
Meanwhile, Clarkson's co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May have hinted they may step down from the show following his departure.
Earlier this week, May said: "I might want to do something completely different with my life, I'm quite old now. [I might] do something outside of cars, I always wanted to be a teacher."

Samia Ghadie announces she’s pregnant

Samia Ghadie is expecting a baby with her boyfriend Sylvain Longchambon.
The 32-year-old 'Coronation Street' actress, who plays Maria Connor in the ITV soap opera, announced on Twitter that she and her boyfriend - who she met on 'Dancing on Ice' in 2013 - are expecting their first child together.
The soap star - who has one daughter, Freya, from her previous marriage to Matthew Smith - tweeted: "Me and slongchambon have some very happy news to share.. We are having a baby!! Freya can't wait to be a big sister later this year!"
Sylvain didn't make any comment of his own, but retweeted Samia's original message.
Since announcing their news, the couple have been inundated with congratulatory messages.
Fellow 'Coronation Street' actress Catherine Tyldesley, who stars as Eva Price and who recently welcomed her first child Alfie James, sent her best wishes.
She tweeted: "So thrilled for you guys!!! What a baby boom!!! J Awesome news!!! Love me @TP_PTfitness and Alfie xxx (sic)"
Meanwhile, Sally Ann Matthews - who plays Jenny Bradley on the soap - said: "Huge congratulations! So thrilled for you both x"
Samia and Slyvain were partnered on 'Dancing on Ice' and became a couple shortly after the actress was eliminated from the show.

Phillip Schofield hates getting older

Phillip Schofield "deeply despises" getting older.
The 52-year-old presenter hates the ageing process and wants time to slow down because there is still so much he wants to do.
He said: "I resent getting old. Life is going along like an express train and I have so much I want to do.
"I deeply despise getting older and the ageing process."
The 'This Morning' host is doing all he can to retain a youthful appearance.
He said: "Years ago, I got asked about my beauty regime and said I didn't use anything.
"Now? I use bloody everything. I moisturise my face off."
And the grey-haired star insists he has no desire to dye his locks a fashionable hue like lilac.
He said: "Not a chance. There's no way that, as someone who doesn't enjoy the ageing process, I'm going to have a blue rinse."
Phillip previously took part in a past-life regression session and found the "altered state" fascinating.
He told heat magazine: "I was regressed on 'This Morning' a few years ago. It definitely put me into an altered state.
"It was like a dream-like state and the pictures were very clear.
"I can't say for sure I went back to a former life, but how lovely to think you've had life after life after life."

Louie Spence wants to judge Strictly Come Dancing

Louie Spence wants to judge 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 45-year-old star enjoyed his stint on the 'Dancing on Ice' panel in 2012 and is keen to land a similar role, though doesn't think Len Goodman, Darcey Bussell, Bruno Tonioli or Craig Revel Horwood will be leaving the BBC contest any time soon.
He said: "I think Im a good judge when it comes to dance as I've spent my whole life doing it.
"[Would I do 'Strictly'?] Of course! But their panel is very established. I can't see them going anywhere as it works so well."
Louie is currently working in a touring production of 'The Producers' and admits he is keen to land a serious stage role.
Asked if he wants a serious part, he said: "I'd like to. People see me as a high-kicking camp queen but my TV persona is only one part of who I am. I'm not like that all the time - I'd have to slap myself."
Louie also admitted he finds 'The Producers' nerve-wracking because he hasn't taken part in a theatre production for so long.
He told Star magazine: "Other than panto, this is the first time I've done theatre since 1998, so it's nerve-wracking.
"With panto, if you mess up, it doesn't matter so much because it's fun. But a show like this, you can't."
