David Walliams is to turn two of his kids' books into Christmas specials.
The 43-year-old comedian has been approached by BBC bosses who are eager to land the TV rights to 'Billionaire Boy' and 'Awful Auntie', having seen two previous adaptations of David's books become Boxing Day hits.
He said: "We are doing Billionaire Boy this Christmas for the BBC and then, next Christmas, Awful Auntie. It is very exciting.
"It's great seeing them on screen because you feel like a magician - something in your head becomes this real, physical thing."
David also suggested some big name stars are likely to appear in the new shows.
He told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "We've had some incredible people cast, like Miranda Hart and Robbie Williams (who both starred in Gangsta Granny).
"It's great because the more you do of these films, if they turn out well, the more people are encouraged to get involved.
"I don't know who's going to be in Billionaire Boy yet but there are a few good parts. And I'm sure I will pop up somewhere."
Meanwhile, the 'Britain's Got Talent' judge also revealed he made a personal book to mark the first birthday of Simon Cowell's son Eric last month.
He shared: "I wrote a special book about baby Eric for Simon and I got Tony Ross to illustrate it.
"I made 500 copies and gave them to Simon, so he could give them to his friends as a money-can't-buy present.
"He was pleased but he started judging it, obviously! 'I think the pictures could have been bigger, there could have been more pictures of me!'"

Lauren Pope doesn't think the male 'TOWIE' stars will have careers when the show ends.
The 32-year-old reality star isn't worried about the future when 'The Only Way is Essex' finally draws to a close because she has other business ventures, but doesn't think other stars of the show have had the foresight to plan ahead.
Asked if she worries about the show ending, she said: "No, because I've worked hard on a lot of things, like my hair brand.
"It won't last forever but I don't think the boys understand that. They're at PAs every week getting p***ed.
"What's Lewis Bloor going to do? He's been unemployed for quite some time. He tried the whole bad boy thing and it massively backfired."
Lauren is currently single and looking for love but she admits she worries guys are using her to get onto the show.
She told Star magazine: "If I met a guy who wanted to come on the show it would make me wary.
"There are warning signs when you meet a guy. If they start asking about 'TOWIE', that's what they're into.
"I'll meet someone and think they're really nice, but when they get comfortable, that's when the warning signs come. But I'm quick to suss people out.
"Someone can say one thing, totally cringe me out and I'm done. I'm cut-throat."

Tina O'Brien is considering getting married.
The 'Coronation Street' actress revealed she has spoken to her boyfriend Adam Crofts about tying the knot, and says they "definitely" want to do it "one day", having already had a son, Beau, together.
She said: "We are very happy and have talked about getting married.
"But after having Beau, we wanted to wait. One day, definitely."
The 31-year-old star - who plays Sarah-Louise Platt in the soap - gave birth to the tot in October 2014, but revealed it was her six-year-old daughter Scarlett with fellow soap star Ryan Thomas who originally caused her to fall for Adam.
She recalled: "We met in a coffee shop.
"I was with Scarlett and she just said to him: 'Hello, man.' I said: 'You can't just do that. You have to ask him what his name is!' And I thought: 'Yeah, he's quite fit' - and we got talking."
And although she has a daughter with Ryan - who plays Jason Grimshaw - who she dated for six years, Tina insisted there is no bad feeling between them, but felt a bit "strange", especially when rumours emerged suggesting their characters were set to embark on a relationship.
She told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Jason and Sarah have one scene where they pretend they're an item, so I think that's where the story came from. But they're just being lovey-dovey to wind up Bethany.
"Ryan and I get on fine but it was a bit strange because all the crew were watching going: 'Ooh, this could be awkward.'"

Gary 'Gaz' Beadle and Aaron Chalmers didn't miss Vicky Pattison on the new series of 'Geordie Shore'.
The 27-year-old star quit the MTV reality show last year after four years but her co-stars Gaz and Aaron claim they didn't let her decision get them down when they were filming the upcoming tenth series.
Asked what they missed most about Vicky, Aaron and Gaz looked at one another and shrugged before Gary confessed exclusively to BANG Showbiz: "Nothing".
However, Holly Hagan - who has also starred on the show since it first started in 2011 - jumped to Vicky's defence to admit she found it hard not having the 'Geordie Shore' house's "mum" around anymore.
She told Gaz and Aaron: "You were awful.
"I think Vicky was like the mum, if you had a problem you could go to her and she'd always tell you what to do. She's like the voice of reason and she's kind of like the mediator, so if you were having an argument she'd talk to the person and she did have that wisdom about her."
Holly went on to admit she's going to miss Vicky's hilarious comments in the diary-room style parts of the show and Aaron and Gaz confessed they too enjoyed her humour.
Holly added: "Also, her green screens are comedy gold, you can't take that away from her. The words she comes out with, I've learnt a lot of words since I've been in the house."

Dermot O'Leary will not return to present 'The X Factor' next year.
The 41-year-old star took to his Twitter account this afternoon (27.03.15) to reveal he will no longer act as host on the ITV singing competition after nearly a decade on the show.
He wrote: "Good afternoon. After eight wonderful years on @TheXFactor it's time for me to move on.
"I'd like to thank ITV, Simon, The X Factor family and particularly the viewers, all of whom have been a big part of my life for so long.
"I'd like to wish the team all the best for the future, especially whoever takes over from me.
"You're about to be the conductor on the most brilliant, runaway train in showbiz. Good luck you'll love it."
The former 'Big Brother's Little Brother' presenter revealed earlier this year that he suspected he was going to be axed as he hadn't yet been offered a new contract by judge and show boss Simon Cowell.
Dermot said previously: "We normally sit down February/March but Simon wants to change stuff. So I need to see what changes he is going to make before a) I know if he wants me and b) whether I'm suitable for those changes."
He added: ""If he [Simon] turns around and says, 'Half your gig is a voiceover', then I will have to think about it. If he lets me do my thing then of course I would do it."
Producers of the show are currently revamping the format after it was revealed 'The X Factor' has lost its Saturday night slot to the upcoming Rugby World Cup.
A source shared: "It will give producers more freedom to play around with the format in the early stages and freshen up the show a bit as the Saturdays have become predictable."
Meanwhile, executive producer Richard Holloway claimed Simon's fellow judges Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Louis Walsh and Mel B could also be facing the axe.
He said earlier this week: "There will be some exciting changes. The name of the show will stay the same but we are looking at the format and the judges. There will be some surprises this year. But I can't go into detail ... It's safe to say Simon is staying."

James 'Arg' Argent's "whole lifestyle" has changed since he came out of rehab.
The 'Only Way Is Essex' star decided to seek treatment for his "partying ways" in December last year following his split from Lydia Bright and suspension from the ITVBe show and has revealed he is now feeling great.
He said: "It's good to be here. I've worked hard since coming home at the end of December and the start of January I've been early night sleeps, training hard every day and eating healthy. I love my boxing - my whole lifestyle has completely changed...
"I've had to change partly some of the people I was knocking about with. I'm not going out too much, but I still need to socialise with my friends - but I've not been nightclubbing as much as I used to. I'm in a much happier place. I'm back on TOWIE... I love filming, I've got my spark back. I've been very fortunate... It's good to be back."
The 27-year-old television personality spent 28 days seeking treatment, spending his birthday and Christmas at the facility and he also admitted he had been dodging the idea of going to rehab until he hit "rock bottom".
Speaking on ITV's 'This Morning', he added: "It was pretty serious stuff. But it was the best decision I've ever made...
"I had a lot of support from my friends and family and the show itself. However, it was my own decision to get the treatment and help... my friends and family were hinting that I needed to go. But I was like, 'No, I'll be fine'... and it wasn't until I hit rock bottom that I realised, that I needed to do it."

Jeremy Clarkson will not face charges for allegedly punching a 'Top Gear' producer.
Oisin Tymon was left with a split lip and had to take himself to A&E after the 54-year-old presenter attacked him both physically and verbally in a row over a platter of cold meats, but he's now released a statement to insist he just wants to get back to work.
Paul Daniels, who is an employment lawyer at Slater and Gordon, revealed his client has told North Yorkshire Police that he doesn't want to press charges following the incident which has seen Clarkson axed from the BBC motoring show.
He said: "I have been asked to issue a statement on behalf of my client Oisin Tymon regarding police enquiries in this matter.
"Mr Tymon has informed the police that he doesn't want to press charges.
"The events of the last few weeks have been extremely unpleasant for everyone involved. The matter has taken a great toll on Oisin, his family and his friends.
"Quite simply, Mr Tymon just wishes to return now to the job at the BBC he loves, as soon as possible. Further, the BBC have, in his view, taken action with a view to addressing the issues at hand.
"Mr Tymon agrees with the BBC's stated view that all parties should now be allowed to move on, so far as possible."
The police recently said they had spoken to potential witnesses about the incident - in which Clarkson is said to have punched Tymon after he was told the kitchen at their hotel was closed and he wouldn't be able to have a steak - as they had a "duty" to investigate whether an offence had been committed.
