Dan Osborne has been fired from 'The Only Way is Essex'.
The 23-year-old star has been axed from the ITVBe show after a recording of his foul-mouthed rant against former lover Megan Tomlin, in which he apparently threatened to stab the mother of his 14-month-old son Teddy, was released online.
A spokesperson for the series said: "Dan was suspended during the last series of Towie, and Lime Pictures and ITV have since decided he will not be returning to the show. We wish him luck in the future."
The decision comes after a recording of the confrontation, which is thought to date from last November, was published last month.
Dan - who was also arrested for assault but later released without charge - voluntarily underwent police questioning after Megan alleged he physically and verbally abused her during arguments over the holiday period.
The star - who also has a baby daughter Ella with his current girlfriend Jacqueline Jossa - was suspended from the show in February and released a statement to fans apologising for his behaviour.
He said a the time: "It has taken me a while to find the right words but I would like to say that I am truly sorry to anyone who was offended by what they heard.
"While I acknowledge that there is absolutely no excuse for my deeply regrettable behaviour, I plead for some understanding that I had no intention of violence.
"There are always two sides to every story and all of my friends and family who are close to me know that I'm not a violent person capable of anything like this. My words were said in anger and desperation at a very difficult time.
"I love my son Teddy very much and I'm doing all that I can to see him as often as possible.
"I'm also very sorry to everyone at TOWIE that I have let down and thank them for their understanding and support while I take a short break to concentrate on my family."

Lauren Pope says there's "snobbery" amongst some fashion labels towards 'The Only Way Is Essex'.
The 32-year-old reality star claims some designers refuse to lend dresses to her purely because she is from the Essex-based series, and she finds their attitude "draining".
Opening up to Star magazine on what frustrates her, Lauren said: "I find snobbery draining. Certain companies won't lend dresses because you're from 'TOWIE'. I bet they watch the show anyway!"
Lauren keeps an eye on her style successes and failures by Googling her name to check how she looks at events.
She revealed: "(I do it) to see what I look like at events! I sometimes screengrab and Instagram my outfits. I don't let horrible stories bother me, though, I've got pretty thick skin."
Despite the dramas she has to deal with on 'TOWIE', Lauren insists she's currently the happiest she's ever been in her life and claims everything "fell into place" for her after she turned 30.
The fashionista said: "It sounds cheesy, but right now is the happiest time. My 30th birthday was a turning point for me. Before then, I was panicking that I wanted children and marriage, but then I stopped caring about what other people think and everything fell into place."

Mark also said that he's "lucky" to be working with Charlotte Bellamy - who plays Laurel - as the pair are "really good mates".

She's hit the ground running with this storyline and has been amazing."

Joey Essex is "so happy" after finding his cat.
The 24-year-old reality TV star has taken to Twitter and Instagram to express his delight after finding out that his moggie Prince Essex had returned, after being told it had gone missing while he has been holidaying in Dubai.
Along with a picture of Prince, Joey wrote: @"We found him!!! So happy...I love you Prince"
Earlier today (21.04.15), the former 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here' contestant wasn't quite so happy, begging his followers to help him find the feline, along with the hashtag FindPrince.

He then later added: "Please help me find my cat everyone @PrinceEssex ... I want him back when I get home from Dubai #FindPrince (sic)"
It looks like the former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star isn't having a good week, as his ex Sam Faiers revealed she split from him for the "sake of her sanity" on Sunday (19.04.15).
She said: "He plays on the 'Little Boy Lost' act and has always had a real skill for twisting things round to suit him because he has never really been made to grow up and take responsibility for himself.
"That's why we had to break up, for the sake of my sanity. I hoped it would end in marriage and children, but in the end I didn't know who he was any more."

Lucy Mecklenburgh has banned her sister from appearing on 'The Only Way is Essex'.
The 23-year-old reality star admits she is "overprotective" of 19-year-old Lydia, but doesn't want her exposed to life in the public eye.
Asked if Lucy has banned her from being on the show, Lydia said: "Yeah that's true."
Lucy added: "The producers keep asking her. I can see why.
"Perhaps I'm being overprotective but I worry about her being in the public eye. I know what they might throw at her."
However, it seems her caution is unnecessary as Lydia doesn't want to be on the show.
She said: "I can't really see myself on 'TOWIE'. I'm quite shy."
And Lydia admits it has been difficult seeing some of the disadvantages of being in the spotlight that her sister has been exposed to.
She told Now magazine: "It was strange at first [when Lucy joined the show] but I got used to it.
"It's had it's advantages, obviously, but it must have been hard having her life on display for people to watch and criticise. Seeing her cry wasn't nice."

Former 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Leah Wright doesn't think a phone call is not enough to rekindle her relationship with Elliott Wright.
According to the reality TV star, the on-off relationship between her brother and Chloe Sims has torn her family apart, and it'll take more than a simple phone call to mend the damage.
Leah - who has hasn't spoken to her brother after an emotional argument between herself and Chloe - shared: "He knew I was hurting and yet he still didn't pick up the phone or come and see me. It just isn't him.
"Elliott and I haven't spoken since. He called me the other day, but I didn't pick up because I don't think a call is enough to fix this."
Despite this, Leah insists she hasn't always been against her brother's on-off girlfriend, telling The Sun newspaper: "I'd always been pro-Chloe and Elliott. But when I was told Chloe was texting Danny, I did what any sister would do and told him.
"But soon after he started defending her. Then, when I found out she wanted me off the show, I called him and said, 'Maybe I should just quit'.
"I expected him to say, 'No Leah, you can't. I need you'. But he didn't. So I handed in my notice."

Aidan Turner doesn't Google himself because he fears it could become addictive.
The 31-year-old actor, who stars in new BBC drama 'Poldark', resists the temptation to see what people are saying about him, arguing it's "better not to know".
The Irish star revealed: "I don't read any press. I make it a thing. I think I could easily get addicted to googling myself if I did start doing it, so I just stay out of that entirely. It's better not to know sometimes."
Aidan admitted he's baffled by the amount of publicity his new programme has attracted and said it's unlike anything else he's experienced.
He told the Radio Times: "There's a new Poldark story every day, sometimes on the most tenuous grounds.
"I'm used to a lot of pre-publicity about a show but you don't get much after that. With Poldark there have been four or five things in the papers every day. I've never known anything like it."
Despite his rising profile, Aidan thinks there are ways to ensure his fame doesn't run out of control.
He explained: "If you want your life to change, it can change but if you don't want it to change there are ways you can hold on to all of those things that matter."

'Coronation Street' star Alan Halsall and his wife Lucy-Jo Hudson have been told by a psychic they'll have twins one day.
The 32-year-old actor - who's starred as Tyrone Dobbs on the ITV soap opera since 1998 - already has a 19-month-old daughter, Sienna, with actress Lucy-Jo, and has refused to rule out the prospect of having another child.
Asked if they want more children, Alan said: "We have spoken about it, but we're not in a rush. We say two children but I know people who have said that and have had twins."
Luly-Jo - who played the part of Katy Harris on 'Coronation Street' from 2002 until 2005, and married Alan in 2009 - told OK! magazine: "A physic has told me I'm going to have twins. We have twins in both of our families.
"When I was first pregnant with Sienna, I thought I was having twins as I was so big. But she was just a big baby!"
In recent months, some of Alan's on-screen co-stars have given birth, including Jennie McAlpine - who plays Fizz - and Catherine Tyldesley - who stars as Eva, but that hasn't encouraged Alan and Lucy-Jo to try for another baby.
Asked if their babies have made Lucy-Jo feel broody, she said: "No, not really! I remember the sleepless nights too well and we're both really enjoying Sienna. She is so much fun. Eventually we will have another one."

Jo Joyner felt "horrendous" after fluffing her lines during the 30th anniversary live episode of 'EastEnders'.
The 37-year-old actress - who played Tanya Branning in the BBC soap - mistakenly called co-star Adam Woodyatt by his actual name instead of his character name, Ian Beale, during the episode which aired in February.
Jo told 'Loose Women': "I called Adam Woodyatt by his real name, rather than by his character name, and do you know the irony is? When you start there a long time ago - seven years ago when I first started there - you spend a lot of time trying really carefully not to call Adam, Ian."
Jo asked Laurie Brett, who plays Jane, how Adam was instead of how Ian was, in the run up to discovering who killed Lucy Beale, and revealed the mistake was something she was consciously trying to avoid.
She said: "You know when you're chatting to him in the green room or something and you're thinking, 'I mustn't say Ian, mustn't say Ian'. So it's kind of ironic really. I did the complete opposite.
"It made me real. I'm over it now but it was horrendous the next night. We do this show all the time and obviously it's live and the amount of times we say things and think, 'Oh did I really just say that?'"
