Alex Jones: We’ve set a date for wedding

Alex Jones has set a date for her wedding to fiance Charlie Thomson.
The 38-year-old presenter got engaged in February and has decided on a time and place for her big day but admitted that she hasn't had time to do much of the planning herself.
She said: "We have set a date and we're looking at venues in Wales. Charlie and I aren't that organised, so my mum's doing a lot of the planning.
Though the Welsh beauty didn't reveal the exact date, she confessed she and the city broker from New Zealand connected over their similar up-bringing and views on life.
She said: "Friends and family are important to me and Charlie. We've been brought up in similar ways and have the same morals about things, which is important.
"Our mums are very similar. When I went to visit Charlie's parents in New Zealand for the first time, I saw his mum at the airport and from a distance she looked like mine. They even have the same sofa!"
And to keep dress-ready for the wedding - Alex has been practising barre - a form of ballet-based pilates workouts.
'The One Show' presenter told Fit & Well magazine: "Even after I'd only been to two [barre] classes I noticed the difference, especially in my abs and legs."

Jack P. Shepherd urinates on Emmerdale sign

'Coronation Street' actor Jack P. Shepherd pretended to urinate on the 'Emmerdale' sign.
The 27-year-old actor - who plays David Platt on the Manchester-based soap - posted a picture on Twitter of him apparently relieving himself on the sign while at a party on the set of the rival ITV soap.
A source said: "Jack had a few drinks like the rest of the 'Corrie' cast, but as the night went on he got a bit boisterous."
However, Jack - who was reprimanded for posting insensitive comments on his Twitter account last year - quickly bottled it and took down the snap for fear of upsetting his bosses once again.
The insider told The Sun newspaper: "He thought it would be funny to pose for this snap and posted it online, but took it down within seconds.
"Jack knew this could get him in trouble. There's a big rivalry between the soaps but the ITV bosses don't want any headaches over rows.
"Jack's been in trouble before as well and they've all been warned about how they use social media."
Meanwhile, Lucy Fallon - who plays Jack's on-screen niece Bethany - also posted pictures on Twitter, posing outside Emmerdale's Woolpack pub with Paula Lane and Tina O'Brien - who play Jack's on-screen wife Kylie and sister Sarah-Louise.
The 19-year-old actress shared: "Had a bit too much fun last night at the summer party."

Coronation Street’s Sally Dynervor wanted Sally and Kevin back together

'Coronation Street' actress Sally Dynevor wanted Sally and Kevin Webster "to get back together".
The 52-year-old actress has revealed her character and on-screen ex-husband - played by Michael Le Vell - are over for good after 29 years despite previous reports claiming they are set to rekindle their romance.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper, Sally said: "I was really pleased when they told me. I loved Sally's relationship with Kevin, it was a fantastic part of my life and we had a great time, but it's nice now that we are committing to Tim's character.
"Of course part of me did want Sally and Kevin to get back together, because I enjoy working with Michael Le Vell so much.
"But once they'd introduced Tim, I suddenly thought there was a different dimension to Sally. And if they had put Sally and Kevin back together, what would we have done? I don't really know where we could have gone with it."
Meanwhile, former 'Corrie' writer Kay Mellor has blasted the show for the "false" emotion seen in Deirdre Barlow's funeral, following the death of the actress Anne Kirkbride.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, she said: "I watched [the funeral scenes] and I have not watched 'Coronation Street' for years. When I used to watch 'Coronation Street' it was fantastic, they were just brilliant and I don't think there is the craft there that there used to be. I did feel as if it was a missed opportunity.
"I did feel they were trying to crank up emotion and it was a false emotion. I should have been in a heap really, there should have been something more and I just felt as if it was engineered. It felt false somehow."

Max Beesley lands Empire role

Max Beesley has landed a guest role in 'Empire'.
The 'Hotel Babylon' actor is reportedly set to join the cast of the hit US drama - which airs on E4 in the UK - after impressing producers at Fox.
A source revealed: "Producers were very impressed with Max's performances and were keen to snap him up."
Although it will only be a "guest role", the British star will have the "chance to make it permanent" according to the insider.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "The show will be huge for his career in terms of exposure and although at this moment it's a guest star role, there is always the chance to make it permanent."
It's also been claimed that Max - who starred alongside Mariah Carey in her film 'Glitter' - has been "attracting more interest" in the States than ever before, not only for TV but film also.
The source added: "He is doing programmes in the UK, but is attracting more interest here all the time, even movies."
Other stars to have made guest appearances in the show - which stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson - include supermodel Naomi Campbell and 'Poison' hitmaker Rita Ora.

Jessica Hayes and Max Morely win Love Island

Jessica Hayes and Max Morley have won 'Love Island'.
The couple - who only got back together earlier this week - were crowned winners of the ITV2 show in the live final last night (16.07.15) after receiving the most votes from the public.
However, they were then hit with a twist when they were forced to choose between love and money and were given the option to either share the £50,000 prize money by both choosing love or to attempt to steal it for themselves by choosing money.
If one of them chose love and the other money, the contestant who chose money would take home all the cash but if they both chose money then they would both have gone home empty handed.
And although Jess confessed she didn't fully understand what was happening, they both decided to choose love and went home with £25,000 each.
Jess and Max - who got together after Jess was dumped by Josh Ritchie - appear to have rekindled their romance for good despite Max previously choosing to drop her for Naomi Ball.
Meanwhile, runners-up Jonathan Clark and Hannah Elizabeth - who got engaged during the show - were thrilled for Max and Jess and seemed unfazed about missing out on the prize money as they instead found love.

Calum Best and Ianthe Rose Cochrane-Stack split

Calum Best and Ianthe Rose Cochrane-Stack have ended their relationship again.
The lingerie model has reportedly ditched the former 'Celebrity Big Brother' contestant having grown sick of his wild lifestyle, after he left her in a hotel bed one evening in Liverpool last week while he went to another room to party with pals.
A source said: "Ianthe dumped Calum when she found him drunk in a hotel room with a load of pals. It was the final straw as she's not prepared to be with someone who won't compromise.
"He promised he'd changed but he's too selfish. She can't stand him any more."
The pair - who originally got together last year - ended their nine-month relationship back in May but rekindled their romance just 10 days later, with Ianthe hoping the split would make Calum realise he needed to treat her better.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "She tried to see if he would change after they split before but he's shown his true colours.
"Calum insists there was nothing in the after-party and they were just a group of pals he had worked with. But Ianthe was having none of it.
"It seemed like an innocent party but Ianthe snapped. Sadly it was the last straw for them."
The news comes just three weeks after it was announced Calum would make a guest appearance on ITV2's 'Love Island', but insisted he wouldn't be hooking up with anyone because he has an "amazing mrs".
Asked on Twitter if he would be getting close to any of the girls, he told a fan: "Not to pair up babe I have a amazing mrs x. Haha I'm very much in love, it's a guest appearance my dear.(sic)"

Chloe Sims: Lauren Pope is a ‘snake’

Chloe Sims has branded Lauren Pope a "snake".
The 'Only Way Is Essex' star has spoken out about her co-star and former partner in crime Lauren after she was accused of trying to set Danielle Armstrong's ex-boyfriend James 'Lockie' Lock up with new girl Verity Chapman.
Chloe said: "'TOWIE' new girl Verity Chapman has already caused a lot of s**t. I don't know what her game is, but I don't think she's a girls' girl. I think Lauren is a snake too. She said all the girls are ganging up on her, but she's upset every one of us. She upset Jess over Dan [Edgar], Danni by taking another girl back to Lockie's, and she fell out with Gemma!"
The 32-year-old beauty revealed she's also fallen out with pal Vas J. Morgan as he's chosen to jump to the defence of Lauren and Verity.
She explained in her column for Star magazine: "Vas has the hump with me over my tweets about his argument with Gemma. He texted me after he saw them and said, 'Are you kidding me?' Then he blocked me before I had a chance to explain myself! I had no intention of falling out with him and I'm disappointed at how he's behaved, because I know he's got a good heart. He's worried if he doesn't stand up for Lauren, he isn't being a good friend."

Kimberley Walsh: Nick Grimshaw is ‘like Marmite’

Kimberley Walsh has compared Nick Grimshaw to Marmite.
The former Girls Aloud singer is "excited" about seeing the BBC Radio 1 DJ join the judging panel of 'The X Factor' but is worried about what kind of reception he'll receive from fans.
She said: "He's a bit like Marmite - people love him or hate him. Maybe they're not giving him a chance because they haven't seen him on TV much. I think he'll be a good judge.
"I've met him a few times and worked with him over the years. I really like him and find him warm, easy to get on with, funny and witty. Hopefully, that's what we'll see of him and the public will fall in love with him."
The 33-year-old star - whose former bandmate Cheryl Fernandez-Versini is also returning to the panel - thinks Rita Ora is also a great choice for the ITV show.
She shared: "Obviously we know what to expect with Rita because we've seen her on 'The Voice'. I think it's great that she and Cheryl are different characters but they get along well. And I'm excited about Nick because it's a different angle - coming from radio and bringing a non-performer's perspective is a totally new thing."
And Kimberley - who welcomed her and her boyfriend Justin Scott's first child, son Bobby, nine months ago - is hoping to see more of Cheryl during the upcoming series as she's no longer pregnant.
She added to Now magazine: "I think all hopes of babysitting have gone now that she's back on 'The X Factor'! She's been able to come and see Bobby a lot recently, which is nice. Then we'll have to go down to hers when she starts on the show because I know how hectic she is. Last year she was like, 'Come and see me!' I was like, 'I'm too tired and pregnant - it's not going to happen'. I didn't even make it to the show."

Doctor Who to return for 10th series?

'Doctor Who' is to return for a 10th series.
The BBC appeared to announce that the sci-fi series will continue following the upcoming ninth series in their Worldwide Annual Review, according to Digital Spy.
On the 32nd page of the document, matters listed as under review in the past year include "investments in 'The Musketeers' S3 and 'Doctor Who' S10".
And while it was announced in February that 'The Musketeers' - which stars Luke Pasqualino, Tom Burke, Santiago Cabrera and Howard Charles - would be returning for a third series, this is the first official confirmation that there will be more episodes of 'Doctor Who'.
The ninth series of the hit show - which sees Peter Capaldi reprise his role as the titular Time Lord alongside Jenna-Louise Coleman as his companion Clara Oswold - is set to launch on September 19 on BBC One.
It's believed the tenth series would air at some point in 2016 although it's unclear whether Coleman and Capaldi will be returning.
Meanwhile, Jenna recently revealed she thinks it's "absolutely possible" that there could be a female Doctor in the future.
Asked if she thought it could happen, she said previously: "I think it's absolutely possible. There's no reason why not."
Capaldi himself added that he "would expect" for the character to be played by a woman at some point after he leaves the part.
He shared: "I would expect so at some point, why not? Absolutely.
"I would expect it at any moment. If you turn around right now I might suddenly transform."
