Max Beesley has landed a guest role in ‘Empire’.
The ‘Hotel Babylon’ actor is reportedly set to join the cast of the hit US drama – which airs on E4 in the UK – after impressing producers at Fox.
A source revealed: "Producers were very impressed with Max’s performances and were keen to snap him up."
Although it will only be a "guest role", the British star will have the "chance to make it permanent" according to the insider.
The source told The Sun newspaper: "The show will be huge for his career in terms of exposure and although at this moment it’s a guest star role, there is always the chance to make it permanent."
It’s also been claimed that Max – who starred alongside Mariah Carey in her film ‘Glitter’ – has been "attracting more interest" in the States than ever before, not only for TV but film also.
The source added: "He is doing programmes in the UK, but is attracting more interest here all the time, even movies."
Other stars to have made guest appearances in the show – which stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson – include supermodel Naomi Campbell and ‘Poison’ hitmaker Rita Ora.
