Nick Grimshaw wants Miley Cyrus for ‘X Factor’ judge role

Nick Grimshaw wants Miley Cyrus to join him at 'X Factor' judges' houses.
The 31-year-old television personality would love for the 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker to be his celebrity guest on the ITV show because she "doesn't care" how she's perceived.
He explained: "She is an amazing person. She understands how to work the media completely. Yeah, she does silly things and gets her boobs out but she's not overly sexualised, she doesn't slag people off, and she's had both boyfriends and girlfriends - I like that.
"I went to her dressing room after a show, and she was twerking with her friends and showing everyone her arse and sticking it up on Instagram, because that's what 21-year-olds do. They don't care. I want her to be in my judge's houses on 'The X Factor.'"
Meanwhile, Nick - who joined the judging panel alongside Rita Ora, Simon Cowell and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini - also admitted he found the show "nerve-wracking" at first but insists there is no time to overthink about the experience.
He told The Sunday Times' Culture magazine: "It was nerve-wracking at the start. But you don't have time to think on 'The X Factor'. I used to think Sharon [Osbourne] and Louis [Walsh] were nutters, or that Nicole Scherzinger was drunk - but you're working 20 hours a day and you go insane.
"It's full on anarchy, where producers are begging, 'Please focus,' and Simon's saying, 'Definitely don't focus.'"

Sam Faiers confirms pregnancy

Sam Faiers has confirmed she's pregnant.
The 24-year-old beauty, who's best known for her starring role on 'The Only Way Is Essex', has revealed she's expecting her first child with property developer Paul Knightley, 26, via an Instagram post featuring emojis of a baby and a heart.
Sam's post confirmed recent rumours suggesting she and her boyfriend - who she's been dating for nine months - were set to become parents.
A source previously said: "They are really thrilled and really looking forward to being first time parents together."
Sam met the property developer last October shortly after splitting from on/off boyfriend Joey Essex, and is thought to be just over three months along in her pregnancy.
Their happy news comes not long after Sam revealed they are preparing to move in together.
She said: "It's not like he officially lives with me, but he's always at mine and it's really comfortable. I'm just about to get an extension put on my house and once that's done he'll move in. In the future we'll buy a house together."
The reality TV star also admitted they'd recently discussed the possibility of getting married and having children.
She shared: "I can see marriage as a possibility. To be honest, we talk about kids more than we do marriage, but as a couple we want the whole package."

Rita Ora to miss X Factor premiere

Rita Ora is to miss the 'X Factor's premiere.
The 'I Will Never Let You Down' hitmaker is currently on tour in the United States and the news of her no-show is said to have been a "real blow" for the team at ITV.
A source said: "It was a real blow. It is always a glitzy occasion and the stops have been pulled out as everyone wanted to celebrate the new judges.
"It won't have the same impact if one of them isn't there."
And whilst Rita will miss the premiere, the three other judges - Simon Cowell, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Nick Grimshaw - will make their appearance at the event in London on Wednesday (26.08.15).
However, a spokesperson for the talent show has insisted it was all organised before she signed up to be part of the judging panel.
They told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Rita is unable to attend the Press launch as she is on tour in the US, organised prior to signing up."
Meanwhile, Cheryl has been given an executive producer role on the ITV show.
She explained to the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper: "This year Simon wanted me more involved in the decision making. He wanted to know my ideas, what I thought, who I thought would be good."
"I get excited and blurt things out and then he'll say 'That's actually a really good idea. OK so tell us more. What do you think? What would you change?' And I'd just say, even if it's stuff he thinks is absolutely ridiculous.
"We have creative moments together. We work really well off camera, just him and me in a meeting. So I've a few ideas for this year."

‘Coronation Street’s Ken Barlow’s new romance?

'Coronation Street's Ken Barlow is to find a new admirer.
The veteran soap character - played by William Roache - is set to find himself the object of Cathy's sister affections following the death of his wife Deirdre, played by the late Anne Kirkbride.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Cathy's sister sets her sights on Ken very soon after arriving in Weatherfield. Viewers will even see her quizzing his friends in a bid to work out how best to seduce him. She is determined to win him over.
"But fans will have to wait to see if her passion is reciprocated. It is the beginning of a major storyline for Ken Barlow."
Meanwhile, the 83-year-old actor has insisted he has no plans to retire from the Cobbles any time soon.
He said recently: "It's great that 'Corrie' still want me. I've got some good stories coming up which I'm excited about. People always ask when I'm going to retire, and I say not any time soon. If you want to keep young, you have to keep going.
"The fact I have to learn so many lines is good for me. I love the Street and everybody in it. I'm very fortunate to have been in it so long. I still film from 7am to 8pm just like I did when I first started."

Alexander O’Neal was asked to leave Celebrity Big Brother

Alexander O'Neal claims he was asked to leave 'Celebrity Big Brother'.
The 'Never Knew Love Like This' hitmaker shocked fans when he appeared to 'walk out' of the house after a heated argument with Perez Hilton but he now alleges it was by "mutual agreement" between himself and Big Brother.
He said: "I never walked out. When I had my row with Perez that day, Big Brother called me up to the diary room and said 'We think it's time for you to leave. We don't want you to stay and shoot yourself in the foot'.
"So we came to a mutual agreement and they said they would pay my full fee. But they said 'We don't want you to say anything about this to anybody until the series is over'.
"I didn't want to go. I was never going to quit and I didn't quit. They said it was time for me to go. People think I walked out. My housemates know I didn't walk out. I want to talk about this now."
And the 61-year-old singer says he would have made the 37-year-old celebrity blogger's life a "holy hell" if he had stayed in the house.
He added to the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper: "Big Brother wasn't going to be able to control what was going to happen between me and Perez.
"I was getting ready to make his life a holy hell. So they requested I should go."

Nicholas Lyndhurst’s actor advice for son Archie

Nicholas Lyndhurst urged his son not to become an actor.
The 'Only Fools and Horses' star was left gobsmacked when his 14-year-old son Archie - who he had with his wife Lucy, a former ballet dancer - said he wanted to follow in his footsteps by appearing on television, but the 54-year-old actor allowed him to pursue his dream as long as it wasn't to become famous.
He explained: "When Archie said he wanted to be an actor, I said: 'I can't offer any advice other than please don't do it.' He said: 'Daddy, I just want to entertain people.' I told Lucy: 'If I ever hear him say the f-word - 'famous' - the deal's off.' He never has."
However, Archie has since starting working on a kids TV comedy and the veteran sitcom star is shocked at how great his son is on screen.
He said: "He's filming his second series for CBBC, 'So Awkward'. I wish I'd been as good as him at his age."
And since seeing Archie's achievements, Nicholas has been able to take a step back as he can see the teenager is capable of making his own decisions.
He added to The Guardian newspaper: "I became a different person overnight when I had my son - terrified. You could call me a helicopter parent, but now Archie's 14, I'm learning to back off."

EastEnders Kush Kazemi to attack Masood

The market trader is set to marry Masood Ahmed's daughter Shabnam (Rakhee Thakrar) and when he pops back to his flat on the night of his stag do to find his mum Carmel (Bonnie Langford) all over his future father-in-law, he can hardly contain his anger.
A source said: "It's the night of Kush's stag do, and when Kush pops back to the flat and finds Masood and Carmel, he's livid.
"It's one thing to feel stitched up by your mates on your last night of freedom, but not by your own mother."
Kush's discovery comes before Shabnam - who is pregnant with Kush's baby - walks in on her dad (Nitin Ganatra) and his new love interest.
The insider told Inside Soap magazine: "When Shabnam sees Masood and Carmel in bed together, she's horrified!

Emma Willis wants Strictly Come Dancing job

Emma Willis wants to present 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 'Celebrity Big Brother' host has confessed she would love to take the jobs of current hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman because she is such a huge fan of the BBC One competition, but would also be happy to compete, despite the fact she isn't much of a mover.
She said: "'Strictly Come Dancing' is a job that I'd struggle to turn down. I love it. It's one of the best shows ever - I'd even love to be a contestant, but I'm not a very good dancer so I wouldn't know where to start!"
The 39-year-old TV star went on to reveal her McBusted husband Matt Willis, 32 - with whom she has Isabelle, six, and Ace, three - would be a much better contestant than her because of his natural talent.
She explained: "He could do 'Strictly' because he's an amazing dancer - every now and then he will bust out a pirouette in the middle of the living room and our daughter will be like: 'Wow Daddy!'"
However, she insisted she wouldn't let him take part because she would get too "jealous" of his dance partner.
She confessed to The Sun newspaper: "I don't want him grinding against hot women. I do get jealous, but I think that's normal when it's over the person you love."

Cilla Black’s burial invaded by fans

Cilla Black's family have blasted "ghoulish" fans who crashed her private burial.
Several members of the public forced their way into the late star's private burial following her televised church funeral on Thursday (20.08.15), with one man, Shane Robinson, taking photos and videos of her coffin and service which he later uploaded to his public Facebook page, angering the 72-year-old showbiz legend's friends and family.
A spokesman for the family said: "Having given unprecedented public access, we asked that the burial was to be private for the family.
"The media respected that 100 per cent. For someone to do this is not only disrespectful but also ghoulish."
Shane, 24, - who was accompanied by his mother, another woman, a man and two dogs - defied the family's wishes, and reportedly upset several of the guests at Liverpool's Allerton Cemetery, where Sir Cliff Richard, Sir Tom Jones, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jimmy Tarbuck and Jo Wood were all present.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "They were told to stop filming and taking pictures repeatedly. Then were politely asked to go which they did. But their presence upset many of the guests."
Another insider said: "It's a disgrace. After Cilla's family were so generous in allowing her fans to mourn with them, to have these individuals defy their wishes in such a tasteless way is unbelievable.
"Andrew, Jimmy and Jo were upset enough after saying goodbye to a dear friend without having to deal with callous idiots using her funeral as a star-spotting day out."
Meanwhile, Cilla - who topped the UK album chart on Friday (21.08.15) with her greatest hits collection 'The Very Best of Cilla Black' - has drawn unprecedented crowds to the cemetery since she was buried, with staff considering bringing in extra security to deal with the demand to visit her grave.
One worker told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We've never seen anything like it. People have been coming non-stop since she was buried.
"It went on late into Thursday evening, and hasn't stopped all day today. We might have to put extra staff on soon to cope."
