"He is currently in the process of making his own reality programme which is going to be very funny.
"It's like nothing that's ever been seen before and people will be surprised."
The 26-year-old hunk - who was one of just a few original cast members remaining - will finish shooting scenes for the show's 10th series before leaving, but decided to quit because he was sick of being portrayed as a womaniser, now he has settled down with his girlfriend Lauren Hutton.
The source added: "He's had to face a lot of stick for being a ladies' man but now it's time for people to see a different side of Spencer."
And while fans will be disappointed to see him leave, 27-year-old Stevie revealed he is also bowing out of the show because he believes he doesn't have much to give anymore.
He told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "After an incredible 3 years, I am stepping down from my role on Made In Chelsea.

She added: "I have my nails done and my eyebrows dyed but that's about it.
"I won't have Botox, I can't be bothered with any of that.
"When I had my eyebrows dyed for the first time, my son went, 'What have you done? There's something really different about your face."
Despite numerous offers, Linda is adamant she will never appear on 'Strictly Come Dancing' because she thinks people would laugh at her and her kids would be "traumatised".
She told Woman's Own magazine: "They did ask me but you have to know your capabilities.
"I could not learn one routine! I did 'Let's Dance For Sport Relief' and I couldn't remember the routine and I had three weeks to learn it.
"I would be the joke one if I went on the show and I don't want that. I don't mind people laughing but my kids would be traumatised."

The Kaiser Chiefs frontman and coach on 'The Voice' has reportedly been given hosting duties for his own show on the radio station, following in the footsteps of Chris Moyles.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "It's been something that Ricky has been discussing with his team and XFM for some time.
"He's had a series of meetings with Global, which owns XFM, and has come to an agreement that suits all involved."
His new radio show will see him have to balance his commitments with the BBC as he continues his position as a coach on the show alongside will.i.am and new recruits Boy George and Paloma Faith.
However, things haven't got off to a great start for the BBC show after former coach Sir Tom Jones claimed he wasn't told he wouldn't be returning to the panel.
In a Facebook post, he wrote: "In good faith, as part of the team, I'd put the time in my schedule to be involved in Series 5, as I've done so for the last 4 years. I've supported the show and the BBC since the beginning. I was told yesterday, with no consultation or conversation of any kind, that I would not be returning. Having been through plenty of transformations throughout the years, I support and admire creative change. But being informed, as a matter of duty and respect, is an important part of creative relationships.

Xtra Factor to be shown in the US

Meanwhile, Rochelle previously revealed she was ready to tame the "unruly" judges on the talent competition.
She explained: "I think when it comes to interviewing the judges on live TV, they can be a bit unruly so I'll just have to treat them the way I treat my husband and tell them, 'Listen, we've got a job to do here.' Being a mum will help. If I can deal with a two year old, I'm sure I can deal with the judges.
"I already know Cheryl [Fernandez-Versini] and Grimmy [Nick Grimshaw] and I'm getting to know Rita [Ora] and the big guy [Simon Cowell]."
And Rochelle has admitted she is trying not to think about the amount of viewers who will be tuning in.
She said: "I'm so chuffed to be doing it but I'm trying not to think about how big the show is and how many people are watching it."

"Because she kept saying, 'When are you gonna come on the show, when are you gonna do it?'"
And Peter wasn't sure he would be asked again after turning down the show three years in a row.
He explained to Free Radio: "They have been kind enough to ask [him] for the last three years", Andre admitted that he thought his window of opportunity had come and gone.
"I remember the last year when they asked, we couldn't do it because we still had the reality show and these sorts of things we were committed to, and you need a certain amount of hours a week to film, etc," he said.
"So I said to [manager] Claire, 'They're not gonna ask me next year, they won't'. I said, 'The show's too big now, it's become the biggest show on TV and they don't need to ask anyone, people need to ask them'.
"And then when they asked us this year, Claire and I looked at each other and went, 'Gosh!' We didn't think it was going to happen."

I am unable to box until December at the earliest, I cannot put through through my shoulder so punching for 16 weeks is impossible.
"So this amazing opportunity has presented itself whilst I'm recovering from my shoulder operation. My choices were - sulk & sit on my backside whilst rehabbing my shoulder OR whilst I'm unable to box make the most of this amazing opportunity.

She explained: "Kieran was in an indie band when he was younger and he wouldn't let me hear what they sounded like ...
