Adrian Edmondson, Juliet Stevenson and Joanna Vanderham have been announced for new BBC drama 'One of Us'.
The 'Young Ones' star will be joined by a fantastic ensemble cast for the gripping drama, with the script penned by 'The Missing's Jack and Harry Williams.
Joanna said: "I am very excited to start work on this character-led drama. The arresting Scottish landscape is the perfect setting for Jack and Harry's clever and brave script."
Whilst Jack and Harry added: "'One Of Us' is a thriller but also at heart a character piece. So it's wonderful to have such a talented cast. We can't wait to see how they bring it to life."
The new drama - set in isolated rural Scotland - follows the Elliot and Douglas families, whose friendship is tested by the death of two of their relatives.
As the group search for answers into what led to the tragic demise of those they hold dearest, their honesty, loyalty and morality is questioned as lines between right and wrong become blurred.
Other stars signed up for the drama include 'The Fall's John Lynch as well as Laura Fraser and BAFTA winner Georgina Campbell.
'Game of Thrones' Joe Dempsie will also appear as well as Julie Graham, Gary Lewis, Steve Evets and Kate Dickie.
Filming for 'One of Us' is due to started on Monday (24.08.15).

Peter Jones outdrinks Dragon’s Den stars

Peter Jones outdrinks his fellow dragons.
Multi-millionaire Touker Suleyman, who stars alongside Peter on the BBC show 'Dragon's Den', has revealed he enjoys "winding" his fellow investor up on nights out after filming.
He said: "I enjoy winding Peter up and he enjoys winding me up. Peter is 6ft 7in and I am 5ft 6in so physically he is much bigger than me.
"Of course, he outdoes me when it comes to drinking wine in the evenings. That is his passion and I can't keep up with him. He outdrinks me every time.
"But he is always sharp in the Den the next day, always as fresh as a button."
And their rivalry doesn't just stop at drinking as Touker revealed the pair "try and outdo" each other in the Den too.
He added: "We are not rude to each other. When we are in the Den we are investing our own money and when we see a good investment we try and outdo each other.
"We try and make the best offer we can give the entrepreneur. Peter has been a Dragon for a long time so knows strategically how to play it."
And Touker - who has an estimated £150 million fortune - has insisted he has been welcomed with open arms by the show's veterans, Peter and Deborah Meaden.
He told The Sun newspaper: "Bearing in mind that Peter and Deborah have been on the show for a long time, they have been amazing at how they have made the new Dragons feel at home.
"They have been great. But when we are in the Den we have to do what we have got to do. We are investing our own money and we try and make that happen."

Stuart Baggs’ funeral held today

Former 'Apprentice' star Stuart Baggs will be laid to rest today (21.08.15).
The funeral for the 27-year-old entrepreneur - who passed away from an asthma attack in Douglas, Isle of Man last month - will take place at St Ninian's Church, with family and friends being asked to dress in blue.
A statement on the Facebook page 'In memory of Stuart Baggs - Wear Blue For Stu' read: "We have been overwhelmed by the amount of love and support we have received from you all.
"We would like to invite anyone who wishes to attend the funeral of Stuart to be held at St Ninians Church, Douglas, IOM at 2pm on Friday 21st August.
"We would kindly request everyone to wear blue - dark, light, bright, jewel, any shade will do ... As a family we would like to say thank you to everyone for your kind words and thoughts at this tremendously difficult time. (sic)"
The cause of death was confirmed earlier this month in a statement, which read: "Mr Baggs had suffered from asthma for many years and died as a result of his condition.
"It is clear that this is a tragic and premature loss of such a hardworking and visionary young man. We extend our thoughts to the family at this sad time."

Peter Andre: I asked for permission to appear on Strictly Come Dancing

Peter Andre asked for his wife's permission to appear on 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 'Mysterious Girl' hitmaker was announced as a contestant on the reality TV show earlier this week, but has revealed he only agreed to appear on 'Strictly' after getting the go-ahead from his new wife Emily MacDonagh.
He shared: "Of course I asked her permission. Guys, 'I wear the trousers, but she picks 'em for me'. She picks the colours, the size, the belt.
"I mean, you have to ask permission."
What's more, the 42-year-old singer revealed his wife has already been teasing him about some of the potentially cringe-inducing outfits he may be asked to wear.
He told Free Radio: "She's already sending me pictures of sparkly outfits with smiley faces at the end. It came about because 'Strictly' have been kind enough to ask me for the last three years."
Meanwhile, Peter also dismissed suggestions he has an advantage over the other contestants - such as BBC weather presenter Carol Kirkwood and celebrity chef Ainsley Harriott - because of his career as a pop star.
He said: "How do we know that the weather lady doesn't go home and underneath her weather costume is sparkles and she is unbelievable?
"What about Ainsley Harriott? He's good with his hands, but with his feet?
"What he doesn't know is I'm gonna be picking his brain about cooking, I'm gonna exhaust him. It's distraction."

Callum Logan to get his ‘comeuppance’

Callum Logan is to get his "comeuppance" on 'Coronation Street'.
Sean Ward - who plays Callum in the ITV soap - has revealed his evil character will finally get a taste of his own medicine when Tony Stewart (Terence Maynard) attacks him for beating up his son Jason Grimshaw (Ryan Thomas).
Sean said: "Callum will at last get his comeuppance for what he did to Jason!
"It's what everyone has been waiting for, and it had to come from someone with genuine power who could realistically scare Callum - I don't think it could have been David [Platt]."
Jason tells Tony from his hospital bed that he thinks Callum is responsible for what happened to him and, in a bid to make up for being absent for most of his son's life, Tony seeks revenge.
Sean, 27, added to Inside Soap magazine: "Jason tells his dad that he thinks it was Callum who beat him up. Because Tony feels he's not been there enough for Jason, he takes the opportunity to step up to the plate. He stands up for his son by taking revenge on Callum."

Billie Faiers to explore other TV opportunities

Billie Faiers wants to "consider" other TV opportunities.
The 24-year-old reality star has taken a smaller role in 'The Only Way is Essex' because of her responsibilities to 13-month-old daughter Nelly, and though she has no plans to leave the show, she will think about other offers.
She said: "I like taking a back seat. As a mum, I'm conscious of what people think. I don't want to be rowing with people on TV.
"It's been hard [doing the show] as Nelly has got older. I can't commit as I used to.
"I've no plans to leave, but if another TV opportunity came along I'd consider it."
And Billie and her fiance Greg Shepherd could soon be busier than ever as they are keen to have another baby very soon.
She told Star magazine: "I'd like to fall pregnant this year, but it's more likely to be next year as we have so much on.
"We're not sure if we want to get married or have another baby first [but] we want children close in age, so if we got married next year there'd be a three-year age gap and we'd rather there was a smaller age difference."

Daniel O’Donnell for Strictly Come Dancing

Daniel O'Donnell has signed up for 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The 'My Donegal Shore' singer has been revealed as the eighth celebrity set to take part in the BBC One dance contest later this year after admitting his wife Majella persuaded him to do it.
He said: "When the email came in from the 'Strictly' people I was actually sitting in Tenerife and I got this email, read it, and I didn't say anything, I just walked over to her and I said read that email there and the funny thing about it is my brother-in-law and his wife were there, they're huge 'Strictly' fans, and I said I wonder if I asked would I get on that because I had been approached a few times for the Christmas special but I was always away, could never commit to doing it, and we were just joking about it and about two weeks after this email came in. I said, 'We have the time off now', she [my wife] says, 'You can have time off any time, don't miss this'."
The 53-year-old star confessed the few dance moves he does while performing on stage is all the experience he has.
Speaking on 'Steve Wright in the Afternoon' on BBC Radio 2, he shared: "I can dance but don't ask me to be in a certain place at a certain time so this is going to be very challenging for me.
"I'll be very hard to tie down so God help whoever gets me.
It's exciting and I think it's quite an honour to be asked because there's so many people who could be asked to do it and here I am and I'm looking forward to it."
Daniel joins Ainsley Harriott, former 'Coronation Street' actress Georgia May Foote, weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, BBC Proms presenter Katie Derham, 'EastEnders' star Kellie Bright, 'Eggheads' host Jeremy Vine and 'Mysterious Girl' hitmaker Peter Andre on this year's line-up.
Daniel added: "I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of the other people already, those who are announced, because I watch 'Coronation Street', I watch 'EastEnders', I watch 'Eggheads' and other things so you're meeting people ... I mean I never really would've met Peter Andre and Ainsley Harriott. I just think that even though you're doing what you're doing, you might never run into these people so it's nice for me to get to meet other people like that."

Cilla Black was ‘there’ at her funeral

Cilla Black was "very much there" at her funeral.
The showbiz legend was laid to rest in Liverpool today (20.08.15) and her friend Carol Vorderman has revealed she felt the late singer's presence throughout the service.
She said: "She was very much there [at the funeral]. Paul O'Grady was hilarious, particularly nodding to the bishop every now and again."
Paying tribute to the 'Blind Date' host, she added: "But really, when you went for lunch with her, two things were certain - champagne and laughing. Everything was just kind of being on the edge of outrageous and she was just on the edge and we'd get together and she'd just push it over the edge every now and again.
"She was a fantastic lady and a hard worker and a trailblazer."
And Carol also admitted the news of her death "shocked" her as she thought the star was doing well.
She added: "I was really shocked, really shocked because we were going to meet up.
"And I know those who were very close to her, they were really surprised. It's a state of disbelief really."
Andrew Lloyd Webber also paid tribute to the "extraordinary performer", who passed away whilst at her holiday villa in Estepona, Spain earlier this month.
He told Sky News: "She was an extraordinary performer. Yet, course she had this other side to her and I have to say looking at some of the clips of her performing songs recently; it blew my mind.
"She's an incredibly good actress through music and a tremendous interpreter of lyrics."

Jimmy Tarbuck’s tribute to Cilla Black

Jimmy Tarbuck has paid tribute to the "First Lady of showbusiness" Cilla Black.
The comedian led the Prayers of the Faithful at the showbiz legend's funeral today (20.08.15), where he asked the congregation to pray for Cilla and the family she left behind.
Referring to the area where she grew up in Liverpool, he said: "I think Scottie Road would be very proud today. I usually start by saying how nice it is to be here. Today, that is not the case. It is a sad day and I am sorry to be here for obvious reasons."
Continuing his prayers, he said: "For Cilla, when she was baptised, she was given the pledge of eternal life that she might now be admitted to the company of the saints, with Bobby [her husband] and their daughter Ellen.
"For Robert, Ben and Jack, their beloved sons, and her brothers, all her family and friends that they will be inspired by her memory.
"And for those whose lives our Cilla has touched. They will continue to remember her in their prayers. They took this girl to their hearts."
