‘The Only Way is Essex’ cast are set to film a two-episode autumn special in Marbella later this month.
The glamorous crew can’t wait to start shooting the next series of the ITVBe show in the lavish hotspot in Spain – where they usually film their summer special – in a few weeks’ time.
Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, Bobby Norris, who has been on the programme since 2012, said: "We’re going to Marbella later this month. We’re looking forward to a cheeky break away in the autumn."
Producers decided to shake things up a little bit this year by taking the cast to Majorca, Spain, for their summer special rather than following tradition and going to Marbella.
Bobby explained: "We were never gonna go in the summer because we knew we were going in September, we thought we won’t go twice, we’ll still go to Spain but we’ll mix it up a bit and go to Majorca. So we did in Majorca in June time but it’s nice to know we’re going back out there. We all love a bit of Marbs, it’s like another home. We’ll do two episodes and then come back and do the other 10 in Essex. I’m very happy on ‘TOWIE’, I love ‘TOWIE’, so no plans to leave yet."
It was initially thought bosses had decided to pull the plug on Marbella in June after former cast mate Jake Hall was brutally stabbed out there while on holiday with friends in May.
A source said at the time: "Producers are looking for a new destination. It’s unlikely the cast will ever return."
Jake has now made a full recovery following a month in hospital fighting for his life but he has since decided to quit the show in order to focus on his fashion ventures.
