Stephen Graham’s new Sky One comedy

Stephen Graham and Daniel Mays are to star in a new Sky One comedy.
The ‘Line of Duty’ actors will appear as a top crime fighting duo, Daniel as DI John Major and Stephen as DI Roy Carver, in the Special Investigation Unit at the London Met in new programme ‘Code 404’.
When John is suddenly gunned down and killed, his body his sent to an experimental Artificial Intelligence project to bring him back from the dead.
John 2.0 looks and sounds like the original but his deteriorating crime fighting skills leave Roy struggling on the front line.
Tom Miller, from Water & Power Productions, said: "Danny and Stephen are an electric double-act, and with Daniel Peak’s brilliant scripts we can’t wait to bring this to life for Sky One."
Phil Temple, from Kudos, added: "We couldn’t be more delighted to have such outstanding actors bringing heart and passion to these joyful scripts – this really is going to be great!"
Also, the police comedy series was commissioned by Jon Mountague, Sky’s Head of Comedy, and Zai Bennett, Director of Programming for Sky Entertainment UK & Ireland.
Jon said: "What a coup, Stephen Graham and Daniel Mays are the dream team – the perfect Carver and Major. Danny Peak’s scripts are endlessly hilarious and very, very arresting. Can’t wait."
‘Code 404’ is to air on Sky One and stream on Now TV in 2020 and is co-produced by Water & Power Productions and Kudos.
