Stacy Francis says Nicola McLean has acted as a match-maker for her to find her a guy.
The 35-year-old reality star-and-model promised to find Stacy a man upon leaving the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house using a Twitter hashtag #FindStacyAHusband but instead of doing a search on social media she has found Stacy, 47, a suitor who is much closer to home.
And as a result the two former housemates have become BFF’s.
In an exclusive interview with BANG Showbiz, Stacy revealed: "Nicola’s really awesome, she’s quickly become my best friend. She set me up on a date with somebody I really like, and I’ve been dating him actually, he’s Scottish. When we were in the house she said she was going to start a hashtag #FindStacyAHusband and when she got out of the house she actually introduced me to someone and he’s taken me on a couple of dates."
Stacy – who has two-children from a previous relationship – has struggled to find the right man.
At her 2011 ‘X Factor USA’ audition she said that in her early 30s she had been in a bad relationship with somebody who apparently abused her, and who "kept telling [her] that [she] wasn’t talented enough" and she started believing the criticism and then lost her self-confidence. Afterwards she met the father of her first child.
Whilst in the CBB house earlier this year she admitted to having a crush on hunky Calum Best, calling him "super sexy" in the Diary Room.
Speaking about her latest mystery love interest, Stacy gushed: "He’s a really nice guy. I like him. He’s not famous, he’s not ordinary but he’s a sweetheart. He’s known Nicola for 22 years and so he seems like family to her. He’s older than me but he’s a nice man."
At this rate, Stacy might beat Nicola down the aisle again, as the busty blonde wants to renew her vows with her soccer player husband Tom Williams.
She added: "It’s rumoured that Nicola might be renewing her vows so there might be a wedding but I don’t know if it will be mine, it might be hers again."
