Sir Paul McCartney cannot stop getting killed when he plays video games with his grandchildren.
The 72-year-old musical legend has written a new track, 'Hope for the Future', for the video game 'Destiny' but admits that he's not great at succeeding in the game.
Speaking on 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart', he said: "I'd seen my grandkids playing them and I'd say 'Give me a go on that, come on' and I would get killed within the first couple of seconds.
"I've tried them but I'm no good at them. I go in the first room and I'm like 'yes, come on!' and people are just shooting at me. They're shooting at me! I get killed and hand the controller back."
Meanwhile, the former Beatles star recently revealed he was "intrigued" by the prospect of writing a song for a video game.
He explained: "They approached me though my manager. I spoke to the game studio's composer, Marty O'Donnell, and he asked if I fancied contributing to the soundtrack of a new video game.
"I didn't know anything about it, but he showed me some concept art, and I got intrigued. He said they'd like a song, and perhaps some collaboration on the score. I ended up sending him some musical phrases that I thought would be appropriate for the epic nature of the game."
He added: "I was thinking of it as a blockbuster movie. The nearest I'd ever done was 'Live and Let Die', which was a little bit unusual, but I enjoyed the experience. This was just as intriguing.
"I liked the idea that there would be a whole bunch of people who would hear my music who wouldn't normally hear it. I just thought, 'Oh, I'll give it a go'."

Joel Edgerton suffers anxiety on his first few days on a new film set because he worries he's going to be fired.
Despite starring in several big movies such as 'Warrior' and 'The Great Gatsby', the 40-year-old actor often worries he will make a mistake on a movie during the early stages of filming or thinks the director might realise he's made a mistake casting the star in the motion picture.
He said: "The first few days are so nerve-racking for me. The anxiety, trying to block out whether or not I'm going to get fired, thinking I don't know how I'm going to do this, how are they going to feel about that?
"And maybe I'm not the right person ... it's like being at school, arriving first day and having all the kids stare at you."
Despite his nervousness on set, Joel admits he enjoys his profession because he gets to meet so many stars of the film industry and he is glad every big-name star he's met so far has been nice.
He explained: "Being an actor is a blessing and a curse. You get to meet a lot of people you've been watching for years.
"You get to meet Ridley Scott and Christian Bale, people I admire.
"You think, 'God, I hope they're going to be nice people,' and they are. They didn't come down a rung at all in my mind."
The Australian actor loves to travel around the world in his spare time but sometimes finds himself moaning about being in big cities.
He added to Metro newspaper: "I find a reason to complain about anything.
"I caught myself complaining about being in Paris the other day. My brother calls it A-Class Problems."

Robin Williams' son misses his late father "all the time".
Zak, 31 - whose father committed suicide in August this year at just 63-years-old - has revealed that he and his two siblings, Zelda, 25, and Cody, 23, think about Robin every day.
Zak said: "I miss him all the time.
"Often I see something or if I'm watching a film, I think, 'Oh, man, he would have appreciated this' or 'He would have gotten a laugh out of this'.
"There's not a day that goes by that we don't think about our dad."
Zak also revealed that he has started volunteering at a local prison, so he can follow in his father's footsteps of always giving back.
He told People magazine: "It's through helping others that I've begun to heal."
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that the 'Mrs. Doubtfire' actor's children will inherit $50 million after he reportedly left the bulk of his estate to his sons and daughter.
According to a copy of the will, his third wife, Susan Schneider, will be looked after under the terms of a prenuptial agreement they signed before they tied the knot in October 2011.
Robin's fortune will then be distributed by the Robin Williams Trust, which is being run by a trustee, an official document dated January 31st 2011 revealed.

Charlie Ebersol is reportedly planning to propose to Britney Spears.
The 31-year-old TV producer - who has been dating the 'Piece of Me' hitmaker for two months - is expecting to pop the question in time for the pair to celebrate the engagement at a "lavish Christmas bash" in Costa Rica with Charlie already receiving his soon-to-be father-in-law, Jamie Spears', blessing.
A source revealed: "Charlie pitched Jamie about casting Britney in a new reality show, and Jamie thought he was a really good guy.
"They've been moving closer at light speed, and when Charlie suggested to Jamie that he ask for Britney's hand in marriage, Jamie quickly said yes."
However, not everyone is on board with the couple's whirlwind romance, mainly Charlie's 68-year-old mother Susan St. James.
The source continued to National Enquirer magazine: "[Dick Ebersol] thinks it's great to see his son happy [but Susan] just doesn't think that Britney is the right choice".
Meanwhile, Charlie recently revealed how his past helped him "prepare" to have a relationship with the 33-year-old singer.
He said: "My personal life is my personal life, but I will say this: If I had not gone through what I've gone through, I would not have been prepared to be in a relationship of any kind, much less in one with someone like Britney, who has the enormous heart that she does.
"I was bullied very badly in high school. I was a very successful kid. I sold my first company at a young age. There was a lot of misplaced rage in high school towards me. My brothers and sisters identified it as bullying, but I didn't at the time. What was amazing to me was I started feeling I wasn't worthy of being loved...I ended up blocking this from my memory."

Selena Gomez cried over Justin Bieber at Taylor Swift's birthday party.
The 'Come And Get It' hitmaker jetted to New York City on Friday (12.12.14) to celebrate her best friend's 25th birthday but reportedly couldn't get in the party mood.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "She shouted, 'No one understands me! My boyfriend doesn't even understand me. [Everyone] just stared [at her]."
Meanwhile, Taylor - who invited pals like Beyonce, Jay Z and Justin Timberlake to the gathering at her Tribeca apartment - is believed to have recently offered her 22-year-old friend some dating advice.
Another source shared: "[Taylor] wants her to at least try taking a year off dating. She thinks she should date herself for a while, take the time to get to know herself and appreciate herself.
"But she's not going to force it, she's trying to lead by example this time, instead of forcing her ideas down Selena's throat, she realises she can be kind of pushy and she's working on that."
Selena - who moved out of her parents' home and into her own property in California - has been urged by Taylor to move to New York because the 'Shake It Off' singer has seen a big change in herself since she moved to the Big Apple.
Selena said previously: "[Taylor] wants to kidnap me. She's been begging me every time we get on the phone, because it's been a really good thing for her.
"You know, we've been friends for seven years and she really feels like she kind of stepped into her own and became a woman there, and she's like, 'Alright, your turn!'"

Mariah Carey lost a shoe and cried while performing on Monday (15.12.14).
The 'We Belong Together' hitmaker took to the stage at New York's Beacon Theatre for the first of six holiday concerts in the city, but had a disastrous evening which also involved her microphone pack falling off halfway through a song resulting in her halting the performance.
The star - who split from her husband of six years, Nick Cannon, earlier this year - wore a figure-hugging, ruby red, bejewelled gown for the show at which she sang her classic festive hit 'All I Want for Christmas', but had an accident with her outfit at one point when she unexpectedly lost a shoe, causing her to clutch the heel in one hand and her microphone in the other.
Later in the All I Want for Christmas Is You: A Night of Joy and Festivity show, the 45-year-old mum - who has three-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with Nick - broke down in tears during a rendition of her 1993 ballad, 'Hero'.
However, the waterworks didn't last for long, as she soon stopped the performance due to difficulties with her microphone pack, which had fallen off her outfit.
Mid-way through the iconic track, the singer said, "Really? Stop! I'm sorry! Cut! Cut!" before requesting for an assistant to re-affix the device, after her perspiration caused it to fall off.
Referring to the man fixing the pack, she said: "It's not his fault, it's the sweat!"

Rebel Wilson and Matt Lucas invite Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher around for dinner parties which often end up "in the hot tub or singing at the piano".
The 28-year-old actress and the British comedian love to host showbiz stars at their shared home in Los Angeles, and the comedienne revealed they recently sang songs with Boy George at one of their events.
When asked about their dinner parties, she said: "Just before I came over to London we had one with Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher and the guy who created 'Mad Men' [Matt Weiner] and Sarah Silverman.
"Matt is extremely sociable, much more than me, and so he has so many friends.
"Boy George came round the other day and we did some singing."
When asked if their parties go on all night, she quipped: "Yeah, it normally either ends in the hot tub or singing at the piano. Matt taught himself to play the piano."
Rebel knows Sacha well as she portrays his wife in his upcoming movie 'Grimsby', and the Australian comic had to travel up to the north east England seaport town and integrate with some of the locals in a bid to pick up some of their dialect.
She added to Metro newspaper: "I had to go up north and hang out with real people to try to absorb their accent quickly."

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have hired a cyber security team to protect their children online.
The 39-year-old actress revealed the couple find the internet "scary" and don't want their six children - Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, eight, and six-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - to be in danger while surfing the web.
Speaking about letting her kids use the internet, she said: "We have someone who monitors that. It's a scary new world."
Neither Angelina nor the 'Fury' actor are active on social media, and admit their poor understanding of social networks and online activity spurred her to hire the team of experts to protect her brood.
She added: "It's so beyond what we understand.
"We wouldn't even know what to look for."
While the 'Maleficent' star allows her kids to use the net, she confessed she is glad the same technologies didn't exist when she was a youngster .
She joked to People magazine: "I got in enough trouble, it just would have been very documented."
Last week, it was revealed Angelina was ill with chicken pox, which has caused her to miss several promotional events for her movie 'Unbroken' - which she has directed - and while attending a premiere at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood in her place, Brad confirmed she is still feeling chirpy despite suffering from the contagious disease.
The 50-year-old actor quipped: "Her spirits are high. A little spotted and a little itchy, but her spirits are high."

Quvenzhané Wallis doesn't want to grow up.
The 11-year-old actress - whose performance in 'Beasts of the Southern Wild' saw her become the youngest-ever Best Actress Academy Award nominee at just nine years old - feels younger than her years because she enjoys her life so much.
She said: "I feel like I'm five sometimes, because I still enjoy myself. I enjoy what I do. I don't want to grow up, but I know it's not going to last much longer."
Quvenzhané can next be seen in the lead role of an updated version of 'Annie' and thinks she has a lot in common with the famous orphan because they are both confident and determined.
She told the new issue of Britain's ELLE magazine: "I just keep doing what I'm doing and don't ever give up.
"That's what I like about Annie. If she has goals, she'll finish them, like me. We're both confident."
Jamie Foxx stars with the young actress in 'Annie' and was astounded by her talent.
He said: "She brought so much talent and charisma to set that it really allowed me to get lost in the story of these two characters who are trying to navigate their lives in New York City. Quvenzhané was made play this role. I'm convinced it was in her DNA."
