Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin were reportedly spotted on a dinner date earlier this week.
The 'Hunger Games' star and the Coldplay frontman, who split up in October, have sparked rumours they've rekindled their romance after they were pictured tucking into food at the Kiwami Sushi in Studio City, California, on Tuesday (30.12.14).
An onlooker told PEOPLE.com: "They were engulfed in their little world of conversation.They were into each other and not noticing anyone else around them."
The insider added: "[They] seemed to be just content with each other. He was really listening to what she was saying."
The 24-year-old actress reportedly ended their short-lived relationship three months ago because she was struggling to deal with Chris' close bond with his estranged wife Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he has children Apple, ten, and Moses, nine.
A source said at the time: "It is hard for her [Jennifer] to understand the feelings between Chris and Gwyneth."
Meanwhile, Gwyneth, 42, recently opened up about her friendship with Chris, 37 - who she "consciously uncoupled" from in March 2014 following ten years of marriage - and admitted they had to work "really hard" for their children's sake.
She said: "We've worked really f***ing hard to get to [this] point. But we're very, very close, and it's so nice.
"I feel like it's, in a way, the relationship we were meant to have."

Ray J allegedly feared his suicidal ex-girlfriend would kill him.
The 33-year-old rapper reportedly called the police after he convinced himself Princess Love - who allegedly threatened to shoot herself after seeing photographs of the hunk with Karrueche Tran following their messy split in October last year - would murder him before taking her own life.
In an audio recording, obtained by TMZ.com, Ray J can be heard expressing his concerns to the police after Princess Love's alleged threats came just two days after his friend Earl Hayes reportedly shot his wife before killing himself last month.
Speaking to police on his way to work, the 'One Wish' hitmaker told the emergency department he needed urgent assistance at his home, saying: "She's threatening to kill herself because I wanted to end the relationship... I went back to try and find the gun, but she won't show it to me.
"I don't want to be in the house because Earl just killed his girlfriend, I'm thinking she might kill me."
Meanwhile, Ray J - whose real name is William Ray Norwood Jr. - initially angered the brunette beauty when he got custody over their Maltese puppy, Boogotti following their split.
A source explained: "The two went at it over the three-pound Maltese puppy, to the point where Ray's security had to step in."

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have sparked rumours they have got married.
The couple, who got engaged in February last year and welcomed their daughter Wyatt eight months later, have fuelled speculation they've recently tied the knot after the 36-year-old actor posted a cryptic message on his Facebook account yesterday (01.01.14).
The hunk shared a photograph with his fans of the words "Happy New Year, (love) The Kutchers" scribbled into sand, which caused fans to jump to the conclusion that the duo have got hitched.
Mila, 31, was also spotted wearing a new platinum band below her diamond engagement ring while enjoying a rare date night with him just before Christmas last month.
The brunette beauty made no attempt to conceal the ring as she and her fiancé watched the Los Angeles Lakers take on Oklahoma City Thunder at the Staples Centre.
However, if the pair have got married, the news wouldn't come as a surprise to fans as Mila admitted last year that their wedding would be simple and private.
She said in August: "Now my theory on weddings is: Don't invite anyone. Do it privately and secretly. My parents are okay with that. They're just excited that I said yes. I never wanted to get married. From the age of 12, I prepared my parents for no marriage. Then things changed - I found the love of my life."

Zoe Saldana has named her twin boys Cy and Bowie.
The 36-year-old actress took to her Instagram account today (02.01.15), three weeks after giving birth, to reveal the monikers she and her husband Marco Perego have given their children.
The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star posted a photograph of two bottles, two dummies and two - one blue and one yellow - teddy bears, which she accompanied with the caption: "Our boys CY and BOWIE are finally here.#marcoperego and I wanted to thank you for your beautiful wishes and for your patience. (sic)."
The brunette beauty and her spouse, who tied the knot in a secret ceremony in London in 2013, reportedly welcomed their twins - their first children together - into the world on December 8, 2014, and were over the moon with their new arrivals.
A source said at the time: "Zoe and Marco are delighted, Zoe has been ready to drop for some time and they are both ecstatic to be meeting the twins.
"This a dream come true for both of them, they are absolutely delighted. They have been looking forward this day for the last nine months. Both want a big family so this is the start."
Zoe revealed she was expecting a baby in July but it was her friend Britney Spears - whom she starred with in 2002 film 'Crossroads' - who let slip that she was having twins.

Terrence Howard is set to become a father for the fourth time.
The 'Butler' actor, 45, and his wife Miranda, who got married in 2013, are preparing to welcome their first child together into the world later this year after their exciting news was revealed on New Year's Eve (31.12.14) at the AnQi club in Orange County.
Shortly after Terrence took to the stage to perform a rap, he was joined by the owner of the hotspot, Elizabeth An, who revealed to the crowd that the happy couple are expecting a baby.
Miranda reportedly "glowed with joy" as her husband touched her bump and the audience shrieked with excitement after the happy news was announced, according to PEOPLE.com.
Meanwhile, Terrence already has three children, two daughters Aubrey and Heaven, and a son Hunter by his first wife Lori McCommas, whom he divorced in 2003 following 14 years of marriage, before remarrying in 2005 and later separating again.
He then married his girlfriend Michelle Ghent in a secret ceremony in January 2010, but the romance was short lived as his spouse filed for divorce just over a year later in February 2011.
Terrence is also a grandfather to his daughter Aubrey and her husband's first child, Hazel.

Britney Spears wants children with Charlie Ebersol.
The couple - who only started dating four months ago - are reportedly "already discussing having children together".
An insider shared: "Britney has said that Charlie wants to have children of his own and thinks that she would be the perfect mother for them."
The 'Toxic' hitmaker - who already has Sean, nine, and Jayden, eight, from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline - returned to Las Vegas to continue her residency at Planet Hollywood, with the new couple appearing to stay "tied at the hip".
The source added to RadarOnline.com: "[She] brought Charlie along with her this past weekend and they were tied at the hip.
"They literally cannot keep their hands off of each other."
Meanwhile, rumours recently circulated that the 32-year-old TV producer was planning to propose to the 33-year-old singer, having already received the blessing of her father, Jamie Spears.
A source said previously: "Charlie pitched Jamie about casting Britney in a new reality show, and Jamie thought he was a really good guy.
"They've been moving closer at light speed, and when Charlie suggested to Jamie that he ask for Britney's hand in marriage, Jamie quickly said yes."

Kathy Griffin has vowed to bring Joan Rivers' "fearless spirit" to Fashion Police.
The 54-year-old comedienne - who is replacing Joan as a host on the E! series after she passed away from complications while undergoing a minor operation on her vocal cords in September - insists she won't hold back when it comes to critiquing the latest fashions with her co-hosts Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osbourne and Brad Goreski.
Kathy said: "Joan took Fashion Police and morphed it into a show that was able to take the p**s out of all aspects of celebrity. I think that is something I'm gonna have fun with, too.
"Joan would, of course, show the pictures and make hilarious comments, and my style is a little more improvisational, a little more conversational. But I hope to at least continue in her fearless spirit because that's really what I think the show demands and I think it's what the viewers want."
Kathy says she will approach the show in a manner similar to straight talking US star Judge Judy, who, on her eponymous TV series, settles small claims inside a televised courtroom.
She explained: "You need somebody to bring the hammer down. I'm gonna be like the Judge Judy of Fashion Police. I'm gonna not hold back, no holds barred, because at the end of the day with everything that's happening in the real world, it's a place to truly have some fun."
The flame-haired beauty will make her debut on the show when the series returns on January 12 in a brand new format which will see the formerly weekly programme air over 17 episodes, focussing on A-list events including the Emmys, Grammys and Oscars.
Kathy added that before taking on the role she made sure she had the blessing of Joan's daughter Melissa Rivers, who is the Executive Producer of the series.
She told PEOPLE magazine: "That was obviously a very important part of this whole project moving forward. Joan was a good friend of mine and we had a real connection as genuine human beings, but also as girl comics.
"Of course it was important to get Melissa's blessing, and Melissa in fact called me after I repeatedly said I wouldn't do it because I know that it's a sensitive area. She called me at home and gave me her blessing."

Pixie Lott wants to have two weddings.
The 23-year-old singer has been in a relationship with model Oliver Cheshire, 26, for over four years and she has revealed the couple have tentatively begun talking about marriage.
Pixie admits her dream would be to have two ceremonies, an intimate service abroad and then a huge celebration back in her native England.
Discussing her potential wedding in the February issue of Marie Claire magazine, she said: "It probably will be massive. I love small weddings in a different country, but I love massive ones in England, so maybe I'll have two. Hopefully two weddings, not two different marriages! But I'm not thinking of getting married yet because I'm still so young."
Pixie also revealed she and Oliver share a passion for clothes and their home is always littered with garments.
The 'All About Tonight' hitmaker - who recently impressed on ballroom show 'Strictly Come Dancing' - also loves the fact her man works in a similar industry to herself.
She said: "There are clothes everywhere. It's definitely one of our shared interests - we talk about new trends and stuff! He went into the industry aged 15, so really young like me. He hasn't taught me to pose ... although we recently did a shoot for Select and it was so funny watching him. He doesn't take any warming up he just smashes it right away."
