Shailene Woodley’s sex education idea

Shailene Woodley thinks masturbation should be taught in schools.
The ‘Snowden’ actress would like to write a book teaching young females how to pleasure themselves as she thinks better education would lead to fewer teenage pregnancies and sexually-transmitted diseases.
She said: "As a young woman you don’t learn how to pleasure yourself, you don’t learn what an orgasm should be, you don’t learn that you should have feelings of satisfaction.
"I’ve always had a dream of making a book called ‘There’s No Right Way to Masturbate’.
"If masturbation were taught in school, I wonder how [many] fewer people would get herpes aged 16, or pregnant at 14?"
The 24-year-old star has no interest in social media because she thinks it makes people too self-obsessed.
She told Net-A-Porter’s magazine The Edit: "It’s narcissism. People are being told every day how amazing they are, how beautiful they are, how powerful they are. They start believing it, and become detached from reality."
Despite her movie success, Shailene shies away from Hollywood because she thinks it is an "unhealthy" environment.
She said: "The environment is incredibly unhealthy – women get a little skinnier, a little blonder, their lips get fuller, and it’s not a stereotype, it’s real, and it’s because there’s a mold they’re told they have to fit in order to stay relevant."
The actress also expressed her frustration when her flaws were edited out of ‘Divergent’.
She said: "I had crazy, horrific acne when I filmed ‘Divergent’. [But] you would never know because they retouch you.
"Yes, it’s a movie, it’s their product and I am playing a character, but, as a human being, why wouldn’t you just let my zits show?"
