Samira Mighty splits from boyfriend

Samira Mighty has split from her boyfriend after 14 months of dating.

The 23-year-old beauty – who rose to fame on the fourth series of ‘Love Island’ – called it quits with ‘Ibiza Weekender’ star Alex Dean before the Covid-19 lockdown in March.

An insider told The Sun Online: "They haven’t been together in a long time."

Samira met the 23-year-old chartered accountant through their mutual friend and fellow ‘Love Island’ star Niall Aslam.

And the pair have now unfollowed each other on social media and deleted all trace of their relationship from their social media accounts.

Sparks flew a year after Samira was left heartbroken by Frankie Foster following their time on the ITV2 dating show.

Samira was previously left heartbroken when she quit the ‘Love Island’ villa after Frankie was eliminated, but he cheated on her with another women shortly after they landed back in the UK.

Meanwhile, during her time on ‘Love Island’, Samira told her fellow contestants she had dated ‘Star Trek’ actor Chris Pine after he approached her at the GQ Men of the Year Awards after-party in 2016.

She said: "GQ Man Of The Year after-party … and I thought I recognised this guy from the Disney Channel. I thought, ‘My God he was in that movie with Lindsay Lohan,’ and he kind of moved to me and I thought, ‘He seems fun, he seems cool.’ I kind of looked him up and thought, ‘He’s actually a pretty big deal.’

"He was like, ‘Take my number.’ The next day me and my friend were like, ‘He’s not gonna text me,’ and then he did! I’d just broken up with my boyfriend as well so I was like f**k it, I’m gonna go on a date with Chris Pine."
