Samia Ghadie is set to get married this summer.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actress got engaged to her fiancé Sylvain Longchambon 11 months ago following three years of dating and preparations for their big day are well on the way.
Speaking on ‘Loose Women’ today (11.04.16), the brunette beauty said: "The wedding is this summer. I’m going for my dress fitting today – it’s my first fitting – so I’m dead excited."
And, although their nuptials are creeping closer by the day, Samia is adamant she’ll never turn into a "bridezilla."
She said recently: "We’ve got the venue and I went to a wedding fair at Tatton Park [in Cheshire] the other weekend, so I’ve got some ideas. We have a brilliant wedding planner called Julie Perry; she’s so relaxed.
"She isn’t stressed so we don’t feel stressed. We’re getting excited but we want the day just to reflect us as a couple. It’s going to be relaxed and a great party for everyone.
"We want to just have our friends and family around us to help celebrate. I don’t think I’m going to turn into bridezilla!"
The couple struck up a relationship after meeting on ‘Dancing on Ice’ in 2013 and welcomed their son Yves – their first child together – into the world six months ago.
Samia also has six-year-old daughter Freya with her ex-husband Matt Smith, whom she split from five years ago.
