Roman Kemp will miss radio show during I’m A Celebrity stint

Roman Kemp admits it will be "strange" not waking up to do his radio show when he is in the Australian jungle.
The 26-year-old radio presenter is to appear in this year’s ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’, but minutes before his flight Down Under he left a message to his Capital radio listeners.
Roman told his fans: "And I wanted to say, to you, if you’re listening to the show every day, I’m going to miss you a lot. I’m going to miss the show so much, it is my baby and it’s going to be strange not waking up talking to all of you and instead talking to, I don’t know, maybe Coleen Rooney, I don’t know who’s in there!"
The presenter is being replaced by Rob Howard while he is away competing in Bushtucker Trials and bidding to be named King of the Jungle.
However, Roman only revealed his new gig to his co-hosts Vick Hope and Sonny Jay through the message shared on Capital’s Twitter account on Tuesday (12.11.19).
He said: "I’ve kept the secret for a while and Vick and Sonny, who I host Capital Breakfast with, sorry I didn’t tell you, I thought it would be funnier if you just watch the show and realise that it’s going to be someone else coming in on Monday."
Roman is really hoping not to come face-to-face with any frogs or cotton wool during his time in the jungle.
He added: "Please don’t place me near frogs. Please don’t place me around cotton wool. That’s a genuine fear, I don’t know the name of it. You might be able to look it up. I just wanted to say I’m going to miss you all a lot. I’m going to miss my family, my friends, beyond, but I really will miss doing the show every day and speaking to all of you. Hopefully this goes well!"
