Perrie Edwards had a brief fling with social media star Joe Sugg.
The Little Mix singer – who has not had a serious boyfriend since splitting from fiancé Zayn Malik in 2015 – reportedly enjoyed a romance with the 25-year-old vlogger over the summer but things quickly fizzled out.
A source told the Sun on Sunday: "Perrie and Joe started messaging after following each other on social media late last year.
"They got pretty flirty pretty quickly and they decided to meet up, with that night going very well by all accounts.
"He was thrilled to be spending time with her and couldn’t believe his luck as she’s absolutely gorgeous and boasted about what a great kisser she is.
"But after a promising build-up, things fizzled out pretty quickly, although he’s still desperate to get back in touch and has reached out a few times.
"However, the writing was on the wall when she unfollowed him on social media in the summer and didn’t invite him to her birthday."
Joe is the younger brother of YouTube sensation Zoella.
Meanwhile, Perrie, 23 – who was recently linked to actor Luke Pasqualino – recently to having a few drinks before dates as she gets a bit nervous.
When asked if she believes in the myth that a women shouldn’t have "more than two drinks on the first date", Perrie said: "Definitely not, I drink loads on the first date! I have pre-drinks!"
Meanwhile, Zayn, 23, quickly moved on from Perrie with supermodel Gigi Hadid but later penned the single ‘It’s You’ about the ‘Black Magic’ hitmaker.
He said at the time: "I just felt like I needed to put myself out there on that just because it was a form of therapy for me and it did help get me through some stuff."
