Kieran Hayler felt "suicidal" after lying to Katie Price.
The builder was forced to undertake a lie detector test when his wife suspected him of having an affair with her married best friend Jane Pountney following a steamy sunbed encounter she stumbled across on holiday in Cape Verde.
Kieran lied his way through the test, which was set up by experts from 'The Jeremy Kyle Show', but instantly regretted his claims the holiday smooch had been a one-off and chose to endure Katie's wrath rather than be plagued by his guilty conscience.
He told The Sun newspaper: "After that I couldn't lie anymore. It was killing me. I went out into the field opposite Kate's house at 7.30am and lay there for four hours.
"I felt suicidal. I wasn't thinking straight so I called my therapist from the field. I went back inside the house to the cinema room and admitted everything to Kate.
"I've watched 'Jeremy Kyle' on ITV and seen plenty of guys confessing on the show. It made me think, 'That's the person I am.'
"Kate immediately told me she couldn't be with me anymore and wanted a divorce -- and that's when she started tweeting her anger. She was devastated and threw the nearest object at me.
"I had her autobiography aimed at my head as well as a large candle."
The love rat blames Jane - who was Katie's maid of honour when she wed Kieran last April - for not "saying no" to him and believes being bullied from a young age has triggered his immature behaviour.
Kieran is hopeful he can win his pregnant wife back for the sake of their nine-month-old son Jett, as well as Katie's children from past relationships, Harvey, 12, Junior, eight, and Princess, six.
He lamented: "What I've done is worse than bad. It's the worst you could do to anyone. I've got an illness and I do want to fix that...
"I love Kate with all my heart and I believe Kate loves me. She's done nothing wrong. It's me who needs help. Whether or not she can deal with the pictures of what's happened in her head I don't know."
Whitney Houston's family is furious about her new Lifetime biopic.
The late superstar's loved ones are "p**sed" that the Angela Basset-directed film depicting Whitney's rocky relationship with her ex-husband Bobby Brown is being planned as a TV movie because they feel she deserves so much more.
Pat Houston, the 'I Will Always Love You' singer's sister-in-law, told TMZ: "Whitney is certainly worthy of more than a television movie. If Whitney were here today, this would not be happening."
Whitney's estate has reportedly already informed Lifetime of their displeasure and is said to be threatening a lawsuit if the network refuses to cancel production.
The singer's loved ones are instead planning their own big screen movie in the style of Michael Jackson's 'This Is It', which they feel would be a more fitting tribute to the musical icon, who accidentally drowned in February 2012 in her Beverly Hilton hotel suite, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors.
Meanwhile, the Lifetime movie is set for release in 2015 and will see Oscar-nominated actress Angela, who starred opposite Whitney in the 1995 picture 'Waiting to Exhale', make her directorial debut.
She commented last week: "I have such regard for both Whitney's and Bobby's amazing talents and accomplishments, and I feel a responsibility in the telling of their story. Their humanity and bond fascinates us all. I'm beyond excited to have this opportunity to go behind the camera and into their world."
Angelina Jolie thinks she looks "dull" after playing Maleficent.
The 38-year-old actress donned prosthetics to transform the shape of her face to play the titular wicked fairy in the 'Sleeping Beauty' reimagining and admits it made her feel "flat" when she returned to her normal self after filming finished.
She said: "It was quite important she didn't look traditionally pretty.
"What's now strange is when I go home for the weekend, I feel like my face is really flat - I feel very dull in comparison to her. She's so much more fun."
The brunette beauty - who raises children Maddox, 12, Pax, 10, Zahara, nine, Shiloh, seven, and five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne with fiancé Brad Pitt - says starring in the movie taught her a lot about "being a woman".
She told Stylist magazine: "I've learned more about being a woman. She's very complicated, she wasn't born evil.
"She was born very soft and female in a way that a lot of women will be able to relate to but then she was abused in a way.
"We've all had that experience where something has made us put our wall up and fell like, in order to survive, we need to become tougher."
Slash has put his "heart and soul" into his new record.
The rock legend is working on his third solo album, the follow-up to his 2012 record 'Apocalyptic Love', and claims it has been a "blast" laying down the tracks in the studio.
He told Metal Hammer magazine: "Everyone has been on top of their f***ing game for this thing - it's just been awesome.
"I don't like to pat myself on the back too much but I'm pretty proud of it!"
The record is set to be more stripped back than his previous offerings but the 48-year-old guitarist is keeping tight-lipped about the musical direction he's gone in on the album.
He explained: ""There's no sentence or phrase that encompasses the body of work that is this record - any kind of pitch like that is limiting.
"The last record we did completely live in the studio and that's how we put it out.
"This time around things are a bit more produced. I've gone in and overdubbed guitars and that has made everything a bit more lush."
He added: "I've put my heart and soul into it and if people think it's a good record then that's just something they have to figure out for themselves."
Slash's new album will be released later this year.
Gemma Arterton doesn't think she's very famous.
The actress will star in a new musical remake of hit film 'Made in Dagenham' in London's West End later this year, but she admits she fears no one will want to buy tickets as they won't know who she is.
She said: "I'm doing a new musical at the end of the year at the Adelphi [theatre], 'Made in Dagenham', and we've got to sell it out. I'm like, 'How are we gonna sell out, with all these musicals that are closing, when the tickets are so expensive, and the theatres are so big?'
"I'm not that famous! It's not like they've got Keira Knightley or Natalie Portman. I'm sure people will see my name on the poster and they'll say, 'Who's that?' "
The 28-year-old beauty also lamented on her continuous connection to James Bond film 'Quantum of Solace', despite branching out into the respected world of theatre.
She told Radio Times magazine: "Even when the reviews came out for 'The Duchess of Malfi', it was always, 'Bond girl tries to do theatre.' I didn't even have a big part in Bond! I'm proud of it, but it is a bit weird that it's always brought up."
Gemma admits she is worried about singing in her new musical role.
She explained: "I can sing, but I'm not like Mariah Carey. And I can sing and act at the same time. I remember when I saw 'Les Miserables', I thought, 'Oh God!' That's 'X Factor'-type musical theatre. I love the proper, Sondheim-y kind of stuff."
Joan Collins is worried about "creaky joints".
The 80-year-old actress takes Vitamin C tablets and other supplements regularly to make sure she avoids hip and knee problems that are associated with old age.
She explained: "I swear by Redoxon, a fizzy vitamin C tablet, which I have every day. I have friends who have suffered badly with their hips and their knees - Liza Minnelli, for instance, whom I have known for years and years - so I take liquid MSM [natural sulphur supplement] and, touch wood, I don't have creaky joints."
Joan is also keen to maintain her figure but doesn't like working out and has had less time to spare for fitness.
She added: "I am lucky that I am very fit. I try to excercise three times a week, although lately I have been far too busy. And I don't enjoy it at all. I hate it, in fact."
The 'Dynasty' actress intends to live life to the fullest and after reaching the milestone of 50, began thinking about how much time she had left.
She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "You have to eat life or life will eat you. I think you only realise how short life is when you get past 50. Then you think, 'How much time do I have left?' I'm going to take advantage of life and do everything I want to do."
Nicole Kidman's husband leaves her secret love letters.
The 'Grace of Monaco' actress finds the attention she receives from Keith Urban "amazing" and says he is very romantic.
Asked if Keith is romantic, she told French newspaper Le Matin: "Totally! He leaves me a love letter every time we're apart. It's amazing to get that kind of attention from a man who loves you."
The 46-year-old star, who has daughters Sunday, five, and Faith, three, with the singer, along with children Connor, 19, and Isabella, 21, with ex-husband Tom Cruise, left Los Angeles for Nashville, Tennessee because she's a "country girl at heart."
Asked why she refuses to talk about Tom but is open about life with her new husband, she said: "Everything is different, simpler. I'm more confident within myself and calmer.
"It's no doubt due to the extra years that have made me more mature and surer of my beliefs and my choices."
Meanwhile, the star filmed 'Grace of Monaco' in the South of France and Keith and the girls were there as often as possible.
She added: "We try and combine work and pleasure. While I'm filming, my husband takes the children on a tour of the region. They go to the beach, the pool or visit tourist attractions."
Charlie Sims and Ferne McCann have picked out baby names.
'The Only Way Is Essex' stars, who have had an on/off relationship onscreen, have decided to rekindle their romance and properly commit to one another and are already planning a future together.
He said: "I'd love to have two little boys and a gorgeous little girl. I'd like to wait until I'm about 27, but Ferne's getting broody now so maybe we'll compromise. She's already got a list of baby names on her phone! We both really like Gabriel for a boy. But some of the names she shows me, I have to ask, 'Is that for a boy or girl?' I'm a family man at heart."
Ferne admits she's been broody and the pair even role play.
She added to Now magazine: "I've never been broody before but I suddenly love babies! We were in Tenerife recently and there were these kids playing with buckets and spades and it was too much. We even role play sometimes. The other day we were on the bed and Charlie said he had a bad back, so I jumped on top of him and was like 'Oh no, daddy's got a bad back!' "
Meera Syal would love to do a new series of 'Goodness Gracious Me'.
The hit comedy sketch show - which explored the lives of British-Asians living in the UK - will return for a one-off special to celebrate BBC Two's 50th anniversary, and Meera would love to get back together with co-stars Sanjeev Bhaskar and Nina Wadia for a new series.
She told the Radio Times: "We probably would [do it]. The material is there - India has changed so much and we've developed so much as a community. A lot of it depends on the response."
'Goodness Gracious Me' aired for three years from 1998 to 2001 and Meera, 52, married her co-star Sanjeev in 2005.
The couple also starred in 'The Kumars at No. 42' together, with Meera playing Sanjeev's grandmother Ummi.
The actress says their work together hasn't been affected by their marriage.
Meera said: "Other than we save on transport costs and both sets of wages go to the mortgage, nothing much as changed! Because of our son [Shaan] we tend to 'tag team', so it's quite nice to do something together."
'Goodness Gracious Me' airs tonight at 10pm on BBC Two.
John Krasinski gave Emily Blunt a diamond necklace for giving birth to their daughter.
The 'Edge of Tomorrow' actress, who welcomed their first child Hazel into the world in February, was thrilled when her husband gave her a delicate chain with a tiny letter 'H' encrusted with precious stones as a "push present."
Asked about the piece of jewellery, the 31-year-old star told The Sunday Telegraph's Stella magazine: "It was a gift [from Krasinski] for my little girl."
Emily is besotted with her daughter, whom she is raising in Ojai, California.
She said: "She is heaven; my heart sort of explodes. I'm wondering what we were doing without her, actually. I can't really remember. John and I spend a lot of time going, 'Isn't she cute? Oh my God, look at her, she's so cute... She just stares into your soul... Her eyes are denim blue. She looks like a combination of my mother and John's mother."
Although Emily, who recently started following a gluten-free diet, misses the pubs and "irreverence of the British," she has no plans to move back to her native country.
She said: "Our lives are here, all our friends are here."
But the brunette beauty, who got married at George Clooney's villa in Lake Como, Italy and recently holidayed in Mexico with Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, claims she has a normal life.
She said: "I don't feel I lead a glamorous life. Most of the people we're friends with are people you can just hang out with."

She said: "I have some hilarious friends. I'm sure there will be some fun toasts! Later on we'll dance to everything from Michael Bublé and Steve Tyrell, to 70's classics, to current hits, with a big dash of romance thrown in."
Lisa previously admitted that she would like to find love again shortly after the first anniversary of 'Ghost' star Patrick's death.
She said: "I would love companionship love. Absolutely. I hope I'm not one of these women who never want to have another relationship. But who knows, that's another bridge I'll cross when I come to it. I may get there and go, I don't know. But I like to think that I can."
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have reportedly arrived in Ireland for their honeymoon.
The newlyweds, who were married in front of 200 guests in a sunset ceremony at Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy on Saturday (24.05.14), are said to have flown into Cork via private jet this afternoon (25.05.14).

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star and her 36-year-old rapper husband are planning to enjoy five days at a "luxury private estate" in the country.
