EastEnders’ Dean Wicks "wants to be" Mick Carter.
Actor Matt Di Angelo thinks his Walford alter-ego will quite enjoy the revelation that Mick – played by Danny Dyer – is his half-brother, after the initial shock wears off, as he looks up to the pub landlord.
Dean’s mother Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) recently revealed she is in fact Mick’s biological mum and not his sister as he believes.
Matt told the official ‘EastEnders’ website: "Mick is Dean’s half-brother and I think Dean’s reaction to that will probably be a sharp intake of air, in which I’ll hold the moment and wait for some kind of godly duff-duff!
"After that moment has passed, I think he’s really going to like it. Secretly, I think Dean wants to be Mick – he wants his life, so I think he’ll quite enjoy having a big brother. But I don’t think it’s going to be filled with too much happiness for too long."
Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that Dean will develop a crush on Mick’s wife Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
Dean will flirt with Linda on her birthday next week and can’t wait to be alone with the mum-of-three as he offers her a special pamper session at his new salon, Blades.
