Rita Ora ‘won’t stop believing’ in love

Rita Ora "won't stop believing" in love.
The 23-year-old singer split from her boyfriend Calvin Harris, 30, last month following a year of dating, but she insists the heartbreaking experience hasn't put her off falling for someone else in the near future.
Speaking to German newspaper Bild, she said: "I'm a girl that wants to be loved. I won't stop believing in it [love]."
However, the blonde beauty - who also dated Rob Kardashian, 27, in 2012 until things ended badly when he publicly claimed she had cheated on him - thinks she needs to change her tactics when it comes to dating.
She said: "Maybe I just need to stop looking for it [love]."
The 'RIP' hitmaker shot into the limelight after Jay Z signed her to his record company Roc Nation in 2009 and, although she's grateful for the opportunities that have come her way, she admits fame isn't all glamorous.
She explained: "Jay Z was the first to believe in me and give me a chance. It completely changed my life. Fame also has its dark side, but I wouldn't swap my career for anything in the world."
Meanwhile, since her split from the Scottish DJ, Rita has been seen cosying up to other men in Instagram photographs, and has also spent time in Mexico with R&B singer Khalil Amir Sharieff, who was arrested in Miami with Justin Bieber earlier this year for drag racing.
Calvin, on the other hand, was romantically linked to Ellie Goulding, but the 'Goodness Gracious' hitmaker shot down the rumours by announcing her relationship with McFly's Dougie Poynter.

Megan Fox doesn’t have many friends

Megan Fox doesn't have many friends.
The 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' actress - who has sons Noah, two, and Bodhi, four months, with husband Brian Austin Green - believes she only needs one "great" pal because socialising doesn't come naturally to her.
She told the new issue of America's Cosmopolitan magazine: "I consider myself a 'girl's girl' in that I'm not competitive, jealous, or catty but I don't have a ton of female friends - I have one. Her name is Mindy and she's a facialist. I don't have many guy friends, either. I've never been a social butterfly. I don't feel lonely or isolated. I have one really great friend and that's all I need."
The 28-year-old star also likes to keep her male cast members on their toes by ignoring their flirtatious comments because she likes to feel in control.
She explained: "When I'm working, I refuse to flirt. If someone tries, it becomes an endless roast. I'll say, 'Nice beard, buddy' or 'You look fancy!' I know he's spent an hour doing that specific thing to his hair, and the minute I point it out, his game is shattered.
"I like to have men off their guard. Then you are in charge. You don't ever have to feel like men have power over you."

David Arquette’s fiancée says he’s the ‘love of’ her life

David Arquette's fiancée admits he's the "love of" her life.
The 42-year-old actor proposed to Christina McLarty, with whom he has two-month-old son Charlie, yesterday (02.07.14), and the stunning brunette couldn't be happier.
Speaking to Us Magazine, she said: "He is the love of my life and I love him and my family so much. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world!"
David popped the question with a blue-stoned ring outside Mastro's steakhouse in Malibu, California, in front of Charlie and his 10-year-old daughter Coco - whom he has with ex-wife Courteney Cox - but it seems the proposal had been in the pipeline for some time.
The source explained: "He flew to Las Vegas to ask Christina's dad Bud McLarty for permission [to marry Christina] a while ago, so it's been in the works."
The happy news comes just days after David's ex-wife Courteney, 50, announced her own engagement to Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid, 37.
However, the former couple - who split in 2010 after almost 11 years of marriage - had reportedly discussed tying the knot with their new partners beforehand.
An insider said: "David was just waiting for the right time. He and Courteney both talked about taking the next step in their relationships ... They both want what's best for each other."

Pixie Lott doesn’t want to get married yet

Pixie Lott doesn't want to get married yet.
The 23-year-old singer has been dating her boyfriend Oliver Cheshire for three years, but she insists she's in no hurry to walk down the aisle and start making a family.
Speaking to the MailOnline, she said: "Everyone's different, everyone's ready at different times. My sister got married last so I feel like all that attention has been on her rather than pressure on me.
"There's so much I want to do first and Oliver has things he's doing in his career so while I want to get married and have babies in my lifetime, it's not happening right now. I still have so much to focus on before that."
Meanwhile, the 'Nasty' hitmaker thinks part of the reason her and Oliver's romance is going so well is because she doesn't try to maintain relationships with any of her exes.
When asked if it's possible to stay friends with an ex, she said previously: "It's really hard, I think. I had a few flings before Oliver and we haven't stayed friends, but I don't know whether it would be healthy to anyway."

Shakira to perform at World Cup closing ceremony

Shakira will perform at the World Cup closing ceremony.
The 'She Wolf' singer - who has 18-month-old son Milan with soccer star Gerard Pique - is "thrilled" to be performing 'La La La (Brazil 2014)' at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro on 13 July ahead of the final game in the prestigious soccer tournament.
She said in a statement: "I have an intricate relationship with football for obvious reasons, and I truly understand what the World Cup means to so many people, myself included.
"The fans have shown the most incredible support for this song and I can't wait to perform it for them."
Shakira will be joined at this year's closing ceremony by Carlos Santana and Wyclef Jean, who will sing the official anthem 'Dar Um Jeito' alongside Brazil's Alexandre Pires, and local superstar Ivete Sangalo, who will perform a medley of well-known Brazilian songs, while there will be a Samba performance by students from a local school.
The performance will mark the 37-year-old beauty's third consecutive appearance at a World Cup closing ceremony, having performed in South Africa in 2010 and in Germany in 2006.
She also performed the official song for the last World Cup, 'Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)'.

Brody Jenner: Kim Kardashian was ‘fine’ with me missing wedding

Brody Jenner insists Kim Kardashian was "fine" about him not attending her wedding.
The former 'Hills' star missed the May nuptials in Florence, Italy, between his stepsister and rapper Kanye West, and he denied he had refused to attend because his girlfriend of seven months, Kaitlynn Carter, was not invited, insisting he was busy working.
Speaking on 'The Brody Jenner & Dr Mike Dow' podcast, he said: "Realistically, I had work commitments and it was a long way away.
"We talked about it! It was very simple. After I got the invite, I said, 'Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend but I wish you the best. I love you'.
"And she was fine with it. So if she's fine with it, why is everybody else not OK with it?"
Brody recently admitted on his podcast that he used to date his brother Brandon's wife Leah.
Asked about her relationship with her husband, Leah said: "We've known each other since we were 11 years old; I was 11 years old, he was 13.
"We started playing [music] in high school together. I had a boyfriend, he had a girlfriend. And then when I was single one day, he was single one day and he came up to me and he's like, 'I've been in love with you since you were 11 years old.' "
Brody then said: "The boyfriend at the time was me. That's what made it really awkward."
After initially accusing him of lying, Leah eventually admitted it was a very innocent relationship and insisted they never even kissed.

Justin Bieber’s landlord gets security bill

The owner of Justin Bieber's home is being forced to pay for nighttime security.
The 'Believe' hitmaker has angered fellow residents in the Beverly Hills apartment complex - in which he is renting a penthouse and another property - with a string of parties and alleged marijuana use, forcing them to take action this week.
The Home Owner's Association (HOA) held an emergency meeting this week and have agreed to hire security guards from 6pm to 8am, with the bill being sent to the owner of Justin's properties, TMZ reports.
Neighbours called police on Tuesday (01.07.14) over loud music being played at the 20-year-old star's apartment - where the 'Baby' hitmaker was hosting a party for guests including Johnny Manziel, Floyd Mayweather, Tyrese, Tyga, and Chantel Jeffries - and after speaking to a guest, the group agreed to turn down the volume.
However, a short time later, police returned to the building following another complaint, this time over female fans who were screaming and making noise outside.
And this wasn't the first time Justin had upset fellow residents in the building, which he only moved into last month.
According to reports, the HOA (Home Owners Alliance) met over concerns of excessive noise and marijuana use, and police were previously called on two occasions.
One resident in the building said recently: "The smell of marijuana was permeating the floor, especially my hallway which is shared by [Justin's] unit."
In March, Justin sold his Calabasas home in Los Angeles to Khloe Kardashian, following a string of complaints from neighbours over his wild antics, the most controversial of which was an alleged egg throwing incident which has led to the pop star facing criminal charges.

Jessica Alba is ‘more saucy’

Jessica Alba feels "more saucy" than she did 10 years ago.
The 33-year-old actress - who has children Honor, six, and Haven, two, with husband Cash Warren - thinks she has more confidence in herself now than when she shot 'Sin City' 10 years ago.
She said: "I feel much more grounded, much more comfortable, much more saucy. Then I was a girl, I was timid, I was afraid, I was so insecure and now I'm a woman and it's different... I'm more uninhibited."
Jessica reprises her 'Sin City' role of Nancy Callahan in 'Sin City: A Dame To Kill For' and promised fans she has a bigger role this time around.
She told the forthcoming issue of Britain's GQ magazine: "There's more of me and I do more than I did in the first one. I have a bit more of a character arc in this one. There's more dancing, but the dancing's really connected to the story. Nancy's a bit of an alcoholic and a bit of a mess and she's depressed and angry. The dances in the movie reflects where she's at."
Meanwhile, the brunette beauty also paid tribute to her 'Into the Blue' co-star Paul Walker, who died in a car accident last November, praising his kind and respectful ways.
She said: "He had a real childlike innocence and he was game to try anything or do anything. He treated everyone with respect and love. He was never treating anybody differently because of who they were. He was really a guy's guy. And loved his daughter so much and talked about her all the time. He never cared about Hollywood. He never cared about the hype."

Charles and Camilla visit mining memorial

Britain's Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla visited the Senghenydd memorial in Wales today (03.07.14).
The Prince of Wales and his wife paid tribute to the 440 people - including 439 miners and one rescuer - who lost their lives in a tragic mining explosion on 14 October 1913 by laying a wreath at the memorial.
The sombre occasion took place on the fourth day of the royal couple's summer tour of Wales.
The national memorial dedicated in Senghenydd, near Caerphilly, was unveiled last year to mark the centenary of the tragedy.
In addition to visiting the memorial, Charles, 65, and Camilla, 66, opened the Aber Valley Heritage Centre which chronicles the history of the valleys in south Wales.
Speaking during the visit, Charles is quoted by BBC News as saying: "My wife and I have so enjoyed this opportunity to meet you all and if I may say so to have a chance to pay our respects at the memorial.
"I think we owe such an enormous debt of gratitude, respect and appreciation to those people - so many from the same families - who went underground and were courageous and determined enough to do so.
"Both of us are enormously proud to have this opportunity to be here."

Michelle Keegan hopes Rob Donovan will be punished

Michelle Keegan thinks Rob Donovan is going to get his comeuppance on 'Coronation Street'.
The 27-year-old actress bid an emotional farewell to the ITV soap last month when her character Tina McIntyre was murdered by Rob (Marc Baylis), who was furious that she was having an affair with his sister Carla's (Alison King) alcoholic husband Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne).
Viewers have seen Rob desperately trying to pin the blame on Peter in recent weeks, but Michelle believes he is eventually going to get the punishment he deserves.
Speaking at the Lipsy Love Michelle Keegan launch party at the Rosewood Hotel in London last night (02.06.14), she exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "He'll have to eventually get [his just dessert]. I think people were very shocked it was Rob because it's a bit out of character for him. He does have a dark side to his character. I think Marc did really great."
Michelle is already feeling nostalgic about her time in Weatherfield and finds it difficult not being on set with the 'Corrie' crew every day.
Asked what she misses the most about the programme, she replied: "The people. It's a really cliché thing to say, but 'Corrie' was all about them - the cast and crew. It doesn't matter if you worked with them or not. No matter what age, everyone got along with each other. I miss the banter, I miss walking in and seeing people that I know from years back."
The striking brunette also ruled out the possibility of filming a reality show with her husband-to-be, Mark Wright.
She quipped: "I would never say never, but right now I'm just concentrating on acting."
Michelle has created a 30-piece autumn/winter 2014 range for Lipsy inspired by her signature feminine style. The collection lands in stores and online at Lipsy.co.uk on July 3, with items priced between £28 and £85.

Kimberley Walsh sensed Cheryl’s X Factor return

Kimberley Walsh knew Cheryl Cole would return to 'The X Factor'.
The Girls Aloud star has revealed she always had an inkling her best friend and former bandmate would one day return to the ITV talent show as a judge, despite her acrimonious departure from the franchise when Simon Cowell fired her from the US version in 2011.
Kimberley told ITV's 'This Morning': "Do you know what, I think for her it was something that she loved doing first time around, she really enjoyed it when she did it here. I think it was almost like, not unfinished business, but I think I always thought she might go back. And I think she's really, really enjoyed it, which I'm glad about."
The pregnant star - who is expecting her first child with long-term boyfriend Justin Scott - also defended Cheryl's expletive-laden 'F**k you' message to Simon when she was fired from 'The X Factor' USA.
Cheryl recently revealed she sent the talent show boss a foul-mouthed text following the humiliating public dismissal and Kimberley, 32, thinks her pal was completely justified in her actions.
She said: "That was fair enough, really! The thing with Cheryl is she says it as it is at the time and then she doesn't hold grudges - she's not one of those people, she likes to let things go and move on. So that will have been how she felt at the time!"

Robert Pattinson: Geordie Shore is ‘greatest TV show’

Robert Pattinson says 'Geordie Shore' is "one of the greatest TV shows" ever.
The 'Twilight' star has confessed to being an avid viewer of the raunchy MTV reality show, which follows the antics of Gary 'Gaz' Beadle, Charlotte Crosby and Vicky Pattison, and thinks it's one of Britain's best TV offerings.
Robert told MTV.co.uk: "I love English reality TV. I like 'Geordie Shore' - it's like the 'Jersey Shore' of England. It's amazing, one of the greatest TV shows I have ever seen in my entire life."
The 28-year-old Hollywood heartthrob went on to insist he genuinely likes the larger-than-life characters in 'Geordie Shore' and doesn't just watch it to laugh at Gaz and co.
He added: "And it's not really laughing at people because I don't really like that kind of reality TV ... the people in it, you genuinely really like them, it's crazy."
Robert's love of the hit MTV show follows similar admissions from native Geordie Cheryl Cole and 'Burn' hitmaker Ellie Goulding.
Ellie recently revealed she and boyfriend Dougie Poynter often argue over their TV viewing habits.
She said: "He will not watch 'Geordie Shore' and I absolutely love it so that's been a big debating point for us."
