Selena Gomez reportedly doesn't want her parents to be her managers anymore.
The 21-year-old singer's mother Mandy Teefey and her step-father Brian have controlled her affairs since she shot to fame in 2007, but the brunette beauty has now decided to recruit a professional to help her run her schedule.
A source told TMZ.com: "Selena feels she's outgrown her parents."
The 'Come & Get It' hitmaker has argued with her parents on many occasions over the direction of her career and her on/off relationship with troubled star Justin Bieber, but it is believed family friction wasn't to blame for their split.
The 'Spring Breakers' actress still remains close with her parents, but they are annoyed about her decision.
Meanwhile, Mandy and Brian made it clear last month that they were unhappy about Selena spending time with Justin, who has had a number of run-ins with the law, as they believe he's responsible for driving her to rehab in January.
A source said previously: "They're doing their best to supervise them. They're tolerating it as long as they know that there is someone who has eyes on them all the time."
Although, her parents know they can't ban her from seeing the 20-year-old singer.
The source explained at the time: "They don't have any control over her. She's pulling the, 'Who makes the money around here?' card! It's a sh*t show behind-the-scenes."

Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi is keen to organise a "playdate" with Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis' baby.
The 26-year-old star, who already has 20-month-old son Lorenzo, is expecting her second child with her fiancé Jionni LaValle, and she would love for her kids to hang out with the couple's baby when it's born later this year.
She told E! news: "I'd die to have a playdate with Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher's baby, when they're here!
"I'm obsessed with them. I always wanted them to get together. I always knew they'd get married and they're going to get married."
Meanwhile, Mila and Ashton, who have been dating since 2012, got engaged earlier this year and are keen to tie the knot before their baby arrives.
The former 'Jersey Shore' star is in a similar situation as she is planning to get hitched in the Autumn, around the same time her baby is due to be born.
However, the brunette beauty isn't letting her child's arrival get in the way of her big day as she is still going ahead with her nuptials and is even adamant she'll be in shape.
She said previously: "I can clarify that our wedding is still on, and we are madly in love with each other. We've waited long enough and cannot wait. I also want to look somewhat in shape for my wedding. So along with still being a healthy pregnant woman, I still want to be strong and fit!"

Emma Stone would "love" to work with her boyfriend Andrew Garfield on another movie.
The 25-year-old actress and the 30-year-old hunk, who have been dating since 2011, are currently starring opposite each other in the 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' film, and the flame-haired beauty is keen to team up with her lover in the future for other projects.
When asked if she'd like to work with Andrew again, she exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I hope so, I would love to."
Emma, who plays Gwen Stacy alongside Andrew's Spider-Man, recently admitted she'd never been in love until she began working with her beau on screen.
Meanwhile, Andrew, who is often complimented on his charmingly good looks and is branded a heartthrob, doesn't understand why people see him as a hunk, but admits he's "flattered" by it.
He explained at the premiere of the 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' at London's Leicester Square yesterday (10.04.14): "I disagree with that [being called a heartthrob] and I reject it, but I am flattered by it."

Khloé Kardashian is reportedly refusing to speak to Lamar Odom.
The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star split from the NBA player last year amid claims he cheated on her and became hooked on drugs and, although she still needs to finalise her divorce, she's currently rejecting his calls.
A source told RadarOnline: "She's been refusing to take his calls recently."
The 29-year-old stunner, who filed for divorce in December after four years of marriage, has been spotted with a number of men recently - including The Game and French Montana - and it's believed Lamar is getting "jealous".
The source explained: "Khloé is out in public with new guys all over them and it is killing Lamar. Yeah, he was totally with other women first, but he doesn't want Khloé to shove it in his face that she is moving on. Lamar is jealous and gets mad when she refuses to talk to him."
The former couple were initially determined to work on their issues and save their marriage but, after they failed to reignite their romance, Khloé is now keen to move on.
The curvaceous brunette has just moved into Justin Bieber's former home in Calabasas, California, after selling her former marital home in nearby Tarzana to Kaley Cuoco.
The source added: "Lamar and Khloé are done. He tried and she tried but now there's nothing to go back to."

Anne Hathaway took a flask to the Oscar awards.
The 31-year-old actress, who hosted the ceremony in 2011 with James Franco, made sure she had a good time at this year's event by stashing a bottle of tequila in her bag.
She said: "I guess because I hosted one year - block it out, I have - I've gone through it a couple of times, so this time, I decided to do something a little different. I got a perfect purse-sized flask, which I put tequila in, and I had a great time! It was really nice, and it's a great ice-breaker."
The 'Les Miserables' star, who was criticised last year for her acceptance speeches, insists this year went smoothly, but she almost stole Penelope Cruz' seat.
She explained during an appearance on 'Live! with Kelly & Michael' last night (09.04.14): "I was led to my seat by my husband [Adam Shulman] and I stopped in the section that I thought I was sitting in, which was next to my friend Joseph Gordon-Levitt. And they said, 'Oh no, you are sitting in the centre - something happened with Penelope Cruz and you're going to sit in her seat.
"So I go trying to make my way into the centre of the centre of the centre and there's a beautiful woman wearing pink with her hair up, but she's fully facing away from me and I'm like, 'Shoot, I'm so sorry, I think you are in my seat. Penelope Cruz turns around.

Alex Pettyfer is dating a model.
The 'Endless Love' star has struck up a relationship with Marloes Horst, who is the new face of Maybelline, after meeting her through mutual friends earlier this year.
Marloes' agent at Next Model Management told E! news: "Marloes and Alex have been together seriously for a few weeks now. They are very much a couple. They are really happy."
The couple took a trip to Disnleyland in California today (10.04.14) to mark Alex's 24th birthday, and the blonde stunner took the opportunity to make their romance public by sharing an adorable snap of them on Instagram.

Hilary Duff and her ex-husband Mike Comrie have reportedly decided to give their marriage another go.
The couple, who have two-year-old son Luca, called-time on their relationship at the beginning of the year, but they've now decided to work through their differences after sharing a romantic vacation in the Bahamas in February.
A source told RadarOnline.com: "Hilary and Mike hooked up when they were in the Bahamas. Once they were together with their son Luca in the Caribbean, it got emotional and real. Mike broke down and begged Hilary for a second chance.
"They've been meeting for hookups ever since, and Hilary's softened and the two are moving forward to see if they can work it out."
The pair, who got married in 2010, "mutually decided [upon] an amicable separation" and were determined to remain friends for the sake of their son.
However, Hilary's mother Susan Duff hinted in January that the pair were preparing to file for divorce.
The 26-year-old actress thanked her fans for their support at the time of their split and claimed that her and Mike were planning on dealing with their separation "together".

Aaron Paul's wife used to suffer from an eating disorder.
Lauren Parsekian admits she was plunged into "severe depression" and even contemplated suicide after falling victim to nasty bullies during middle school.
She said: "I was put through the ringer. These girls did whatever they could do to make me feel alone and ugly and worthless. It crushed me. As a result of what I went through, I ended up dealing with severe depression and an eating disorder. I just completely lost myself. My grades dropped and I lost all my self-confidence."
The blonde beauty has since launched the Kind Campaign, a non-profit movement created to end girl-on-girl abuse, and has made it her mission to speak to female youngsters in schools across the US.
She explained: "Nothing I went through was extraordinary compared to the stories we hear on a daily basis. But it was a really traumatic time. I felt engulfed by a group of people I had to face at school every day and that pressure is something people deal with all over the country."
Meanwhile, Aaron, 34, helped the Kind Campaign last year after he arranged a charity contest, which managed to raise over $1.5 million for the organisation.
Lauren told People.com: "I was blown away. Without asking him to do anything, he took it upon himself. It was humbling. He has fifteen nieces and nephews, so he just has such a heart for kids."

Peaches Geldof's body has been released to her family.
The remains of the 25-year-old TV personality, who was found dead at her home in Kent, South East England, on Monday (07.04.14), have been released to her loved-ones to allow for funeral arrangements to commence.
A spokesman for North West Kent coroner Roger Hatch said: "We can confirm that the body has been released to the family for funeral arrangements to be made."
Peaches is expected to be laid to rest at the country church of St Mary Magdalene in Kent, South East England, where her late mother Paula Yates was buried in 2000.
The blonde beauty - who leaves behind her husband Thomas Cohen and their sons Astala, 23 months, and Phaedra, 11 months - was also married and christened at the church.
A source said previously: "The church holds the most bittersweet of memories for the Geldof family. They have had the best of times and the worst of times in that churchyard."
A post-mortem carried out yesterday (09.04.14) proved to be "inconclusive" and her family - including sisters Fifi, 31, Pixie, 23, and Tiger-Lily, 17 - will now have an agonising wait for a toxicology report, which could take up to several weeks.
Police have so far described her tragic death as "sudden and unexplained", but non-suspicious as there were no drugs or a suicide note found at her home.
A decision on whether an inquest should be held will depend on the results of the examination.

Jennifer Love Hewitt's heart has "expanded" since welcoming her daughter into the world last November.
The 'Ghost Whisperer' star admits she's been overjoyed since giving birth to her baby Autumn five months ago and she can't help but smile when she locks eyes on the tot.
She said: "I just feel like my heart expanded quadruple and every time I look at her, I just melt. It's great. And I get no sleep which is also fun."
The 35-year-old actress also believes her husband Brian Hallisay, whom she married last year, has adjusted to fatherhood really well.
She explained to E! news: "He's great, he handles it great. He looks at me sometimes like I'm a crazy person, especially right in the beginning when we got home with her, he was like, 'You look a little crazy.' I'm like, 'Alright, we'll talk about it later'."
Meanwhile, Jennifer admits she often feels down about how hard it's been to lose her baby weight, but she's focusing on staying fit and healthy because she wants her daughter to grow up feeling confident in her body.
She said previously: "If your priorities are right, the baby's most important. You have to eat to feed to your baby. And I have a girl so I want her to see some day why her mom has good self-esteem and good body issues.

Ben Affleck has taught his son about "his bits".
The 41-year-old actor - who has daughters Violet, eight, Seraphina, five, and two-year-old son Samuel with his wife Jennifer Garner - was "psyched" when he welcomed his little boy into the world in 2012, and he has even been teaching the toddler about his male private parts.
Jennifer explained: "He loves his girls, but he's serious about his son right now. So, he taught him about his bits. "He taught him about his P and his two Ns.
"Now anytime we pass a dog who's walking on the street or we're at a zoo or something, our poor little son is crouching down and looking up."
The 'Dallas Buyers Club' star, who married Ben in 2005, admits her beau is the "fun" parent and she's stuck doing the mundane tasks - such as cooking - for her children.

Stephen Colbert will replace David Letterman on the 'Late Show'.
The 49-year-old host, who currently fronts 'The Colbert Report', will be taking over from the 66-year-old star on the CBS show when he retires next year.
Stephen said in a statement: "Simply being a guest on David Letterman's show has been a highlight of my career. I never dreamed that I would follow in his footsteps, though everyone in late night follows Dave's lead. I'm thrilled and grateful that CBS chose me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go grind a gap in my front teeth."
Stephen hosts his Comedy Central show, which he has fronted since 2005, in the character of a conservative cable news anchor and, although the late-night programme will finish its run in eight months time, it is not yet known whether his alter-ego will live on.
A spokesman for CBS said: "Stephen Colbert is one of the most inventive and respected forces on television."
Meanwhile, David announced last week he was stepping down from his hosting duties on the flagship show, which he has fronted for 20 years.
David is the longest-serving late night talk show host in TV history after fronting NBC's 'Late Night' for 11 years, before taking on the 'Late Show' in 1993.
