Emmerdale’s Laura Norton has blasted the trashy wedding dress she was forced to wear in the ITV soap.
The brunette, who plays the role of party-loving Kerry Wyatt in the show, said that she would never consider wearing the garish bridal outfit in real life.
She told The Sun newspaper: "This dress – think Katie Price when she got married to Peter Andre and then a lot more. That’s what the design was based on. I’ve seen nothing like it in my life.
"It’s white and pink, there are as many diamantés and sequins as you can imagine and I’m wearing so much false tan it’s unnatural.
"There are bits of see-through material everywhere so you can see her body – there’s a lot of flesh on show. And there’s a big train at the back, while it’s very short at the front."
Laura, 31, also revealed that fashion is not the only thing that distinguishes her from flesh-flashing Kerry.
The actress confirmed that, unlike her on-screen character, she is still single – though she has plenty of admirers on Twitter.
She added: "If I wear a skimpy outfit on TV, they’ll say I look fit."
