Debbie Harry’s adoption ‘identity crisis’

Debbie Harry experienced an "identity crisis" after being adopted.
The Blondie singer, 68, who was given up by her mother when she was only a few months old, sometimes struggled to deal with her past as a child after being told of her adoption when she was four.
She told MOJO magazine: "Unfortunately for me, or unfortunately for my parents, I was determined to be an artist.
"And of course they weren't artists and the whole idea of it was barbaric. My mother came from a family that thought artists were the slime of the earth. I think it was frightening for them, because they of course were trying to protect me."
The 'Heart of Glass' hitmaker fantasised about Marilyn Monroe being her real mother when she was younger but insists it was a "philosophical thing".
She explained: "I probably used the wrong language in the past. I saw her as the mother of invention or something like that. She had a profound effect on a lot of people."
Debbie admits she was attracted to "dark side of life" as a teenager and travelled to Greenwich Village from New Jersey in search of new experiences.
She said: "I think it was more the forbidden and less known sort of things that weren't a part of my upbringing or normal life. I just wanted to live. I was an artist.
"I was trying to find a specific avenue I was perhaps most suited for. I'm interested in acting, I'm interested in art, I'm interested in music, so I was really ingesting, digesting."

Lily Allen describes Lady Gaga as a ‘martyr’

Lily Allen has called Lady Gaga a "martyr" for choosing "art" over commercial success.
The 'Air Balloon' hitmaker has defended her fellow singer after she was criticised for her latest album 'ARTPOP' being a relative flop, insisting she deserves credit for the risks she has taken.
Speaking to Rolling Stone magazine, she said: "If she's not succeeding commercially because she's standing by what she does as art, then that's a f**king great thing.
"That's to be commended. That's what makes a martyr. There's nothing wrong with that."
Lily has had similar problems with her own music, and admitted she had to choose her singles carefully to make sure they were acceptable for radio play.
She explained: "I would love 'Hard Out Here' to have been a single, but you can't have a song that has the word 'bitch' in it 72 times on the radio."
The star previously admitted he own singles were "rubbish" after receiving criticism from a fan on Twitter, desribing her new music is "docile pop rubbish", adding, "So disappointing. She properly just wrote some rubbish to cash some cheques. (sic)"
The 28-year-old singer was quick to fire back and told the follower: "What you've heard so far yes. All i can do is do my best, the labels and the radio stations won't play the better stuff. (sic)"

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West set for secret wedding

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are planning a secret wedding days before their ceremony in Paris.
The superstar couple are set to tie the knot this summer, but their plans for Parisian nuptials could fall through due to French laws which require foreign citizens to live in the country for 40 days before they tie the knot.
The Sun newspaper reports that although Kanye West has owned an apartment in the city for three years, it's not his main home and so the local mayor will make the final decision.
An insider said: "They couldn't face the humiliation of the wedding being cancelled at the last minute.
"So they've decided to get married behind closed doors in Los Angeles before they fly out to France."
It is said the actual union will now take place in front of a couple of witnesses in an office belonging to the Kim's mother Kris Jenner.
According to recent reports, the 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star has started "wearing a corset" to bed in order to look her best for the Parisian ceremony.
A source claimed: "Kim wants he figure to look absolutely perfect on her wedding day. Wearing a corset at night is extremely uncomfortable but has a proven record of results, and with six weeks to go, Kim is up for anything."

Simon Cowell revealed he has "millions" of regrets, but they don't "eat him up".
The media mogul refused to go into detail, but admitted they include "silly business deals" and people he's "trusted", while insisting he tries not to dwell on the past too much.
Talking about regrets to fellow 'Britain's Got Talent' judge David Walliams for The Sun newspaper's TV Magazine, he said: "Millions, but that's part of life.
"When things go wrong, you own up to your mistakes and don't do it again.
"I'm not going to talk about my biggest regret now, but silly business deals I've done, people I've trusted. There's nothing that eats me up, I would say."
The 54-year-old father - whose partner Lauren Silverman gave birth to their son Eric in February - also admitted he was shocked at "how quickly" he settled into being a parent for the first time.

Keira Knightley eyeing up The Typist film role

Keira Knightley is considering a role in Fox's adaptation of 'The Typist'.
The 29-year-old actress is in talks to star in the forthcoming film based on Michael Knight's 2010 book of the same name, which chronicles the early rehabilitation of the Pacific Theatre of the Second World War.
The screen beauty said: "There's a book called 'The Typist' which the lovely people at Fox are kindly trying to develop for me. My agents found it and gave it to me to read. It has two really good female roles in it, so we shall see."
Knightley was catapulted to the spotlight following her role in 'Bend It Like Beckham', before hitting the big screen in a number of big Hollywood hits opposite A-listers including Pirates of the Caribbean's Johnny Depp, Atonement's James McAvoy and Anna Karenina's Jude Law, among others.
She has grown up in the film industry and during that time the 29-year-old star has become less concerned about what others think of her.
The star added in an interview with Red magazine: "I can't do anything about people's opinions of me. If I've learned anything it's to be able to go 'I can only give it my best and I can't control what people think."

Ed Sheeran to collaborate with The Vamps

Ed Sheeran is planning a collaboration with The Vamps.
The 'Wild Heart' singers have been finding the "right time" in their busy schedule to work on a track with 'The A Team' hitmaker after he invited the group to his studio last week to preview his upcoming album 'x'.
Drummer Tristan Evans exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Yesterday we hung out with Ed Sheeran and he showed us his new album in the studio, that was really cool.
"We really want to get in the studio with each other, it's just finding the right time because he's such a busy dude. It was really cool, we're good friends and it was really nice of him to invite us down to the studio."
The news comes after Ed took to Twitter to share his excitement about the follow-up to his BRIT Award-winning debut album, '+', and Tristan claims the singer was keen to get the seal of approval from the indie pop group ahead of it's release.
Speaking of their meeting, Tristan added: "Ed just is a super normal guy, but he was more about, wanting us to tell him what we think about his new album. It's great. I won't give too much away but it's going to be really good for him."

Gwyneth Paltrow won’t join Coldplay on tour

Gwyneth Paltrow will not be going on tour with Coldplay.
The 'Iron Man' actress split with the band's frontman after 10 years of marriage last month and it was rumoured that they had parted on good terms since they were on holiday together at the time.
However, it has now been revealed that relations between the couple may be worse than they seem and reports of Gwyneth joining Chris Martin on his upcoming tour so that they can spend time together as a family appear to be false.
An ex-boyfriend of Gwyneth said: "The rosy picture in the Bahamas does not necessarily map to reality.
"She has confided to friends that all is not well with post-split relations with Chris, and there is no truth that she's going on tour with him."
The former couple - who have children Apple, nine, and Moses, eight, together - have been plagued by rumours of infidelity since they announced their "conscious uncoupling" and all the issues that caused them to split are said to be far from buried.
He added in an interview with Grazia magazine: "They're putting on a united front, but beneath the surface the many tensions that ended their marriage are still very much there. It's very sad."

Peter Andre’s daughter looks like Emily MacDonagh

Peter Andre's newborn daughter looks like his fiancée Emily MacDonagh.
The proud dad has gushed over his three-month-old tot Amelia and thinks she is taking after her "stunning" mother.
He said: "I thought she looked so much like me when she was born, but now I can really see Emily in her. I think that's a good thing as Emily is a stunner! I want her to have her mummy's looks."
The family will be separated for five weeks later this year as Emily, 23, returns to university to finish her medical degree and will move back in with her parents. Meanwhile, Peter is set to go on tour and admits it will be incredibly difficult to be away from his fiancée and daughter.
He explained to Closer magazine: "It'll be hard, but I'll be making my way down to Somerset as often as I can to see them both. It's going to be so tough to be away from Amelia, but it's always been massively important to both of us that Emily finishes her studying."
Peter - who is also dad to Junior, eight, and Princess Tiaamii, six, with his ex-wife Katie Price - insists his wedding plans are going to be minimal as he and Emily are concentrating on little Amelia.
He added: "We're not planning a big wedding anytime soon. We're just enjoying being new parents."

Girls Aloud put off by Kimberley Walsh’s pregnancy

Kimberely Walsh says her pregnancy has put her former Girls Aloud bandmates off wanting a baby.
The singer - who is the second of the group to become a mother after Nadine Coyle had a daughter in February - is four months pregnant and although Cheryl Cole, Sarah Harding and Nicola Roberts were excited for her they'd be happy to "borrow" the baby for now.
Asked about whether the girls are broody, she said: "It kind of puts them off, actually. It did for me when my sister had kids. It made me feel like, I don't really need to have one now because I've got one that I can borrow.
"I think where they're at is that they'd be quite happy to just borrow the baby for now and then give it back."
Brunette beauty Cheryl was "emotional" when she heard the news and had tears of joys for Kimberley and her long-term partner Justin Scott .
She added in an interview with Britain's HELLO! magazine: "Cheryl Cole was definitely the most emotional but I would expect that as she's the most emotional of the girls in generally.
"But she was emotional in a very happy way. She had tears of joy, which was lovely."

Mario Falcone won’t get back together with Lucy

Mario Falcone doesn't want to get back with Lucy Mecklenburgh.
'The Only Way Is Essex' playboy claims his ex-fiancée - who he split from last summer - has secretly been messaging him and always "sucks him back in" before "spitting him out" again, so he is determined to stop falling for her.
He told Now magazine: "Next time she texts, I'll ignore it. We're both going to a mutual pal's wedding in August, but I'm sure well see each other before then 'cos she pops up when I'm doing well in my life."
The hunk previously confessed to feeling suicidal following their bitter split, and doesn't think it's wise to get involved with Lucy again after a one night stand left him feeling confused.
He explained: "There does seem to be a pattern. We had a few kisses in December but then she said she didn't know if she could do this- she said it made her feel sick. I was like, 'OK, let's cut contact cos were going round in circles', so we didn't talk for two months.
"Then all of a sudden she wanted to see our dog Bentley, so she came round and didn't leave all day. She dropped Bentley off the next day and in the evening I went to Club 195 for her sister Lydia's birthday.
"I went back to hers and stayed the night. Then she texted to say seeing me made her upset again. I know I'll hear from her in two months..."
Mario, 31, isn't sure where he stands with the fitness-mad beauty or whether there is still a real connection between them.
He sighed: "I don't know [if I love her]. I'm not sue if its cos I miss her and I want her back or because it's something familiar. Maybe it's because I'm too scared to start something with someone else."

In the clip, obtained by 'Entertainment Tonight,' the 'Chopped Canada' host tearfully opens up during a couple's counselling session about reports he was unfaithful to his wife of eight years, saying: "That's my worst nightmare, I cheated on my wife. I was out of control. Sex was an escape, just like drugs and alcohol."
A clearly frustrated Tori responds: "I can never give him enough sex. He's never going to be happy with just me."
She later says: "I'm well aware this might not have a happy ending."
The couple's new reality series is set to premiere on the Lifetime network in the US on April 22.

Johnny Depp isn’t cool at home

Johnny Depp admits he often gets in trouble with his teenage daughter.
The 'Transcendence' star insists his relationship with daughter Lily-Rose, who is set to turn 15 next month, is very normal and she doesn't think he is cool despite his celebrity status.
The actor told 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' on Friday (11.04.14): "All that cool stuff is going on that 15-year-old girls ... All that stuff. So she could be the sweetest thing in the world, which most of the time she is, and suddenly I'm in trouble for something."
But he added: "She's a sharp kid, very sophisticated, super intelligent and, uh, scary."
Johnny, who recently got engaged to his 27-year-old girlfriend Amber Heard, also has a son Jack, 11, with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Paradis and he claims he is a "pretty laid-back" dad.
The heartthrob also believes he is "calmer" since turning 50 last June.
