Megan Fox: I’ve always loved Michael Bay

Megan Fox insists she has "always loved" film producer Michael Bay despite their public feud.
The 'Transformers' star, who fell out with Michael in 2009 and compared him to Adolf Hitler, has been cast in his reboot of 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' as April O'Neil and despite their fall-out Megan claims he was brilliant to work with.
She told Entertainment Weekly magazine: "He was one of the most lovely people that I dealt with in making this movie
"I've always loved Michael. We've had our battles in the past but even when I've been really outspoken about difficulties we've had, I've always followed up by saying that I have a particular affinity to him.
"He can be very vulnerable, and he's very likeable and loveable. I've always been very vocal about that as well. But, sometimes we clash because we both have very willful, powerful personalities."
The 27-year-old actress has revealed her character April gets a personality makeover in the upcoming film.
She said: "She's more of a leader when she explores her relationship with the turtles instead of just the human companion that gets dragged along on the adventure.
"It's more representative of a modern woman."
April also swaps her yellow jumpsuit for a yellow jacket and jeans and Megan is "completely clothed for the entire movie".
She said: "There's no gratuitous skin or sexual anything. [Director Jonathan Liebesman] was really insistent on not wanting her to be sexualised or to take that sort of typical role we've seen women take in movies thus far, and that I've taken in particular."
The brunette beauty admits she doesn't "really mind" being seen as a pin-up and isn't annoyed by people commenting on her looks.
She said: "It's actually a large part of my personality. I think you can be that and you can also be intelligent and strong. I don't think they're in opposition to one another - at least in my life."
The star, who has children Noah, 15 months, and Bodhi, two months, with husband Brian Austin Green, 40, has eased herself back into work and is happy she can also focus on her career as well as family life.
She added: "How cool is it to have a mum that plays either a superhero or plays the part of this iconic franchise that spans so many generations? I mean, hopefully they'll both think I'm cool."

Ne-Yo: Chris Brown is unfairly used as example

Ne-Yo thinks Chris Brown is unfairly being held up as an example.
The 'Closer' hitmaker is angered by his fellow R&B singer's treatment by the US justice system and believes he has been deliberately targeted and shown little mercy because of his celebrity status.
Chris is currently in a Virginia jail awaiting trial for an assault charge, and stands accused of breaking Parker Adams' nose when he tried to insert himself in a photograph the singer was taking with two female fans outside the W Hotel in Washington D.C. last October.
Quizzed about the 'Fine China' singer's predicament by a TMZ photographer, Ne-Yo told the gossip site: "They like to make an example of celebrities, that's how it is. Regardless of who he is, they're making an example of him. It's not right. It is what it is.
"Chris will be alright. He's stronger than people know, he's going to be fine."
The 24-year-old singer has hard a hard time in jail and has only just been moved out of solitary confinement, where he spent 23 hours a day alone and was unable to shower.
His request to have his assault charges dismissed was recently rejected, and prosecutors allegedly intend to upgrade his charge to a felony.
Ne-Yo diplomatically added: "I know nothing about Chris' [situation], but I know that he's a survivor. No matter what."
If convicted, Chris faces a maximum of six months in jail and a $1,000 fine, but he is also in danger of landing four more years in jail in California as a result of violating the terms of his probation, stemming from his assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

Sofia Vergara: Eating is my hobby

Sofia Vergara says eating is her favourite hobby.
The Colombian beauty claims that despite being celebrated for her trim, hourglass physique, she loves to eat - so much so that she decided to star in a movie about food.
Sofia stars alongside Robert Downey Jr. in new movie 'Chef', which centres on a businessman-turned-food truck owner.
Speaking to Women's Health magazine, she said: "I think it's a film everybody is really going to enjoy because there's a lot of food in the movie.
"I love to eat and that's like my hobby. That's what I do with my friends, my fiancé, with my son. So eating is a very important part of my social life."
Although the 41-year-old beauty can't resist her favourite tasty snacks, she does try to have some balance and only unleashes her sweet tooth on weekends.
Sofia added: "I try to do the right thing during the week but then do whatever I want during the weekend."
Meanwhile, the 'Modern Family' actress - who was named the highest earning actress in TV by Forbes magazine last year - has been treating herself with her hard-earned millions, recently purchasing a $10.6 million home in Beverly Hills.
The sprawling 11,400-square-foot estate boasts seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms.

Queen Elizabeth recruiting a groom for horses

Britain's Queen Elizabeth is recruiting someone to be a groom for her horses.
The royal household is on the hunt for a stableman to help manage the ponies at the Royal Mews at Windsor Castle house in Berkshire, South East England.
The duties will involve feeding the horses, exercising them every day, cleaning their stables and training up the foals.
The advert states that the successful candidate must be able to curtsey or bow to the monarch, possess a recognised equine qualification, be able to communicate clearly and effectively, be a confident rider, and be able to work well as part of a team as well as solo.
The full-time job, which is a total of 48 hours, pays a starting salary of £20,000 a year, but accommodation in the surroundings of Windsor Castle will be provided.
The 87-year-old monarch has had a love for horses since she was a youngster and even received her first pony, a Shetland named Peggy, when she was just four years old.
Some of the Queen's horses have won more than 1,600 races and she was named British flat racing Champion Owner in 1954 and 1957.
Her daughter Princess Anne and granddaughter Zara Phillips also have a passion for equestrian.

ABBA: The music scene changed with us

ABBA's Frida Lyngstad thinks pop music changed after the Swedish group became successful in the 1970s.
The 'Waterloo' hitmakers - including Bjorn Ulvaeus, Agnetha Faltskog and Benny Andersson - claim the music scene shifted when they started writing chart hits.
Frida told the Guardian newspaper's G2: "The music scene changed with us - something like ABBA didn't exist before, pop like that was not invented yet."
After their huge success early on, Bjorn feels they should have stuck to what they were good at instead of trying to go in a different musical direction with songs like their 1973 single 'Ring Ring'.
He explained: "If you look at the singles we released straight after 'Waterloo', we were trying to be more like The Sweet, a semi-glam rock group. Which was stupid because we were always a pop group."
Bjorn was annoyed when critics claimed the band created hits to order and the songs didn't have any heart.
He said: "Waterloo, Mamma Mia, Fernando, Dancing Queen, The Winner Takes It All ... are they made to a formula?
"What is that formula? It's totally the opposite. We never repeated ourselves. We worked so hard to find different styles every time."

Chimamanda: Beyonce is helping feminist talk

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie thinks more women are talking about feminism because of Beyonce.
The Nigerian novelist, whose TED talk about women being expected to aspire to marriage, was sampled on Beyonce's track 'Flawless', thinks the 'XO' hitmaker is inspiring.
She told The Times newspaper: "Because of Beyonce many young women are talking about feminism and hopefully young men because she has such a following."
Chimamanda realises what Beyonce has been singing about in her new music is a departure from her 'Single Ladies' track, in which she asked men to "put a ring on it" but doesn't think it makes her less of a feminist.
She said: "Well, I suppose there are different feminisms. I am all about bringing people to the party and having a good conversation, rather than saying you can't come in. I have had young people in Nigeria who probably would have never heard of my TED talk without Beyonce and who are now talking about feminism."
She added: "I like the idea that Beyonce's song might make girls feel that they can ask to try to do these things."

EastEnders’ Danny Dyer’s advice wasted on Sam Strike

'EastEnders' star Sam Strike says Danny Dyer has given up trying to help him with girls.
The 20-year-old actor plays Johnny Carter in the BBC One soap with Danny, 36, taking on the role of his father Mick and, although his on-screen character is more interested in men, in real life he claims he has trouble with the ladies.
Quizzed on whether Danny had been giving him any tips on how to pick-up girls, Sam exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Well they'd be redundant, you know, I'm kind of like...not very good at talking to girls anyway. So I think he knows not to bother. He has tried in the past."
The young heartthrob confessed that prior to joining the soap with 'The Football Factory' star last Christmas, he was worried that they wouldn't get along.
He explained: "I was kind of concerned that Danny is a proper lad and I'm more of a skateboarder-surfer kind of guy. So I was a bit worried about that, but no he's lovely and it didn't matter."
Sam, who is known for playing Daniel 'Dan' Morgan in the CBBC's M.I. High, praised his on-screen father and admitted he feels privileged to have joined the cast at the same time as him.
He added: "He's lovely, a really nice guy and obviously very good at what he does. I was lucky to come into it with him. He's great."

Colin Morgan cast in The Fall

Colin Morgan has been cast in 'The Fall'.
The 28-year-old actor has landed the role of DS Tom Anderson in the award-winning BBC drama, opposite Jamie Dornan and Gillian Anderson.
Colin's alter-ego, who is an officer involved in the hunt for serial killer Paul Spector (Jamie), will work closely with Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson (Gillian).
Colin said: "I'm delighted to be joining the cast of 'The Fall' for what is going to be an exciting and gripping second series. Allan Cubitt has written exceptional material and I feel very privileged to be working with him and the very talented cast."
Colin will join the cast, which is currently filming in Belfast, Northern Ireland, for the final three episodes of the second series of the gripping psychological thriller.
Meanwhile, the hunky star is set to pull in more viewers for the show after he won a National Television Award last year for his leading role in the the primetime series 'Merlin'.
'The Fall' is currently in the running for two BAFTA awards for series one after Jamie was nominated for the Leading Actor gong, and the show got a nod for Best Mini Series.
'The Fall' will return to screens with its second series at the end of the year.

James Corden and Gary Barlow embark on road trip for documentary

James Corden and Gary Barlow will embark on a road trip across the UK for a one-off documentary.
The 35-year-old star will get up close and personal with the Take That singer to discuss the highs and lows of his nearly 25 years in the limelight, including his pop comeback, for the BBC One show 'When Corden Met Barlow'.
The special will show the beginnings of his career in the working men's club, the success of Take That, and the darker times of his life, which have inspired his lyrics.
The documentary will see the pair travel around the country to visit key places from Gary's childhood and adult life.
Charlotte Moore, controller of BBC One, said: "BBC One brings you this special documentary starring two of Britain's biggest characters, which sees James Corden take a road trip with Gary Barlow to discover the real story of his remarkable career."
The one-off special will also feature Gary's family and friends, as well as Sir Elton John, Chris Evans and Robbie Williams, along with members of the press who have written about the 43-year-old star over the years.
'When Corden Met Barlow' is set to air later this year.

Jennifer Connelly: Noah’s wife shows strength

Jennifer Connelly is proud of her 'Noah' character's "extraordinary strength".
The actress claims her character Naameh is seen from a different perspective in the film - which sees Noah build an ark for his wife and the world's animals after God destroys the earth with a flood - as the bible does not reveal much about her.
Jennifer, 43, told Vogue.com: "If you read Genesis, she doesn't even have a name.
"But, in the context of the story, I do think that she has extraordinary strength. She's physically capable, she's industrious, I think that she changes the outcome of the story. I think she's enterprising, she has great reserves of strength - and that the source of that strength, really, is love.
"I think that's what really makes her powerful: that she embodies a very profound love."
Jennifer also insists Naameh's dependence on her husband Noah, who is played by Russell Crowe, should not be seen as a weakness.
She added: "I don't think that there's anything wrong with being supportive, and devoted, and having faith. I mean, it's a very particular circumstance - the creator has been communicating with Noah - so one understands her faith and following him."

Nicolas Cage excited to work with non-actors

Nicolas Cage was excited to work with amateur actors in 'Joe'.
The 'Ghost Rider' actor is currently starring as an ex-convict in the drama alongside a host of professional and non-professional actors including Gary Poulter, a homeless man who was discovered by the director David Gordon Green and his casting agents.
Quizzed on what it was like to work with amateur actors, Nicholas told Collider: "It's an element of surprise. I was really up for it.
"The one I'm thinking of is Gary Poulter who plays Tye Sheridan's father in the movie. He was discovered doing Vincent Price's 'Welcome to My Nightmare' monologue from the Alice Cooper album about the black widow spider and David saw that and said I want to give you a part and he auditioned him and auditioned him and finally gave him the part.
"I thought it was exciting. This was an opportunity for me to try something new, working with non-actors. He never dropped the ball, he was always on point."
The 50-year-old star plays a former convict who becomes an unlikely role model for Tye's character Gary, as he is faced with the opportunity to either redeem himself or run, and he took the preparation for his role very seriously.
He explained: "I flew out a month early which is kind of unheard of in Hollywood. I wanted to bond with David, I wanted to understand his process and get in step with how he likes to make a movie.
"I got to meet with Tye to make sure that we had chemistry, so it was an enormously valuable experience to go to Austin a month early."

Vanessa Paradis nostalgic about the past

Vanessa Paradis feels nostalgic about the past.
The singer-turned-actress, who split from Johnny Depp in 2012 after a 14-year relationship, has briefly opened up about her romance with the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor, revealing she still has fond memories of their time together.
Probed by France's Marie Claire magazine about whether she regrets the past, she coyly replied: "These things are too personal. I don't want to spill my soul to a magazine, and moreover, I'm very lucky.
"I don't know if I'm really melancholic because I like to live in the present and make the most of the positive things that exist. Of course, I'm sometimes nostalgic about the past, but it's a good nostalgia."
Vanessa quickly shut down the line of questioning about the father of her two children, Lily-Rose, 15, and Jack, 12, who has just confirmed his engagement to his 'Rum Diary' co-star Amber Heard.
However, she added: "Love is such an intense feeling. Naturally, in love there are good and bad sides. "
The 'Joe Le Taxi' singer confessed motherhood has been the biggest transformation of her life to date and thinks nothing can top the feeling.
She said: "My biggest change has been becoming a mother. There isn't anything stronger or more intense than that transformation, in your mind, your body and your life."
Vanessa also avoided queries about whether her new short hairdo was due to a desire to break from the past.
She insisted: "It's for a sketch by John [Turturro] for 'Rio, I Love You'. He asked me to cut them. My hair was all over the place, so it didn't take long for me to accept."
