Lily Allen was ‘numb’ after tragic miscarriage

Lily Allen was "numb" after she almost died after losing first child.
The 28-year-old singer was devastated by her tragic miscarriage in November 2010, and has opened up about the "horrendous" complications which left her fighting for her own life.
She told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "It was horrendous and something I would not wish on my worst enemy. It's something that I still haven't dealt with ... But it's not something that you get over.
"I held my child and it was really horrific and painful - one of the hardest things that can happen to a person ... I nearly died. But I was numb and I didn't care. I'd just lost my baby and that is a reflection of how numb I was."
The 'Air Balloon' hitmaker and her husband Sam Cooper went on to have daughters Ethel, two, and Marnie, one, and they still feel their son is part of the family.
She explained: "I just think that he's a part of my eldest really. If he hadn't died, it wouldn't have physically been possible for our eldest to be alive because I got pregnant with her so quickly.
"We've gt a little stone in our garden with his name on. And lots of different things that I do, rituals, I have him in my mind."

Snoop Dogg gets close to Playboy model?

Snoop Dogg has been getting close to Playboy bunny Carla Howe.
The married rapper is reportedly seeing a lot of the British model, who has previously dated the likes of will.i.am, and isn't trying to hide their meetings from wife Shante Broadus.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday newspaper, an insider said: "She has become smitten with him.
"They've started to spend a lot of time together - she even accompanied him to his birthday party because his wife didn't attend ... Snoop doesn't hide anything.
"He's posted a video on Vine of Carla and her twin. He's also allowed her to post pictures of them together on her Facebook and Instagram accounts."
The 'Drop It Like It's Hot' himaker married his wife in 1997 - although he filed for divorce divorced in 2004 before remarrying four years but it is said Carla's feelings for the star are becoming more intense.

Anastacia’s emotional new album

Anastacia sings about the pain of divorce in her new album.
The 'Left Outside Alone' hitmaker filed for divorced from Wayne Newton 2010 and she used the emotions she felt during that tough period in her life to help shape tracks on her forthcoming record 'Resurrection'.
She said: "I had done a lot of healing on that score prior to writing the album. But there are definitely things in there that attest to the strength, mourning and the pain of divorce - the ebbs and flows. I had such a plethora of unwritten emotions in my heart that once i opened the floodgates it all came pouring out.
"The songs do paint a picture of resurrection - someone who is stripped. I know I've stripped myself of a lot to try and find what's inside."
Anastacia - who was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2003 and last year she revealed she had a double mastectomy after the disease returned - also wrote her new album in the wake of her second cancer diagnosis, and two of the songs explore her determination to beat the disease.
She added in an interview with Britain's HELLO! magazine: "['Stay'] is pretty much a song that says I'm not ready to go just yet - not ready to die. As I was writing it, I knew it was intense. Then I came home and played it for my sister and she cried.
"But at the same time its got this playful energy - it's almost kind of childlike in the music."

Wally Pfister ‘privileged’ to work with Johnny Depp on directorial debut

Wally Pfister is "privileged" to have Johnny Depp star in his first feature film.
The cinematographer-turned-director - who has previously worked on Christopher Nolan's films including 'The Dark Knight' trilogy - says it's a big vote of confidence to have top actors such as Depp and Morgan Freeman sign up to star in sci-fi thriller 'Transcendence'.
He said: "I was very privileged on my very first film to have that kind of talent. They made the experience both comforting and artistically fulfilling.
"Johnny loved the script when he read it. I think he thought he could do something fun and interesting with the character. There were a lot of conversations together to decide what we wanted to do and how we wanted him on screen."
In 'Transcendence', Johnny plays Will Caster, a scientist who works to create an artificial intelligence (AI) that is smarter than any living human. But his work is disrupted when an anti-technology terrorist group attempts to assassinate him and sabotage his research.
Wally was determined to ground the film in real science and had the script properly vetted by researchers.
He added in an interview with SFX magazine: "'Transcendence' is a contemporary film and all the science has been vetted by university professors. I spoke to professors at MIT, Stanford, Berkeley and Caltech about everything from neuroscience and neurobiology to nanotechnology and artificial intelligence."

Kim Kardashian sleeping in a corset?

Kim Kardashian has allegedly been sleeping in a corset to try and lose weight.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star has been preparing for her upcoming nuptials to Kanye West, which are reportedly set to take place at a secret Paris location next month, by trying out a number of natural beauty treatments and weight-loss methods while on holiday in Thailand with her family.
A source told Grazia magazine: "Kim wants he figure to look absolutely perfect on her wedding day. Wearing a corset at night is extremely uncomfortable but has a proven record of results, and with six weeks to go, Kim is up for anything."
The brunette beauty - who gave birth to her and Kanye's first child, North, last summer - also underwent the ancient procedure of "butt, face and breast slapping" which reportedly costs £200 for a 15-minute session and erases wrinkles, shrinks pores and tightens skin.
The source added: "Kim did a lot of reading into these natural techniques online before her trip, and she had three 15-minute treatments of each while she was there."

Keira Knightley’s ‘extreme’ lifestyle

Keira Knightley says she can't have a personal life while working on films.
The 'Anna Karenina' actress' schedule so extremely busy when she's on set that she doesn't ever have the time to catch up with her close friends because of her "extreme" lifestyle.
She said: "When I'm not working it's really about seeing as many friends as possible and making sure I'm there in their lives. The way I work is extreme. You can't really have a personal life if you're working on films all the time. There's Skype, but, really, there's just no way of doing it.
"The hours are so long, you're always in a different country, you're always doing a different thing."
Keira, who married Klaxons vocalist and keyboardist James Righton last year, enjoys catching up with her pals when she has time off in between movies.
She added in an interview with Red magazine: "It becomes very important to block out some time when I don't work and that's how I retain friendships, otherwise people just float. You kind of become somebody who is rudderless."

Taylor Momsen won’t ever act again

Taylor Momsen has quit acting forever.
The Pretty Reckless singer rose to fame aged 14 as Jenny Humphrey in the CW's hit teen drama 'Gossip Girl', only to leave the show for good after the fourth season, declaring she was taking a break from Hollywood.
And Taylor - who started out alongside Jim Carey in 'The Grinch' as a child - is adamant she won't ever be tempted to return to the big screen because music is her true passion.
Quizzed on France's Virgin Radio station whether she would consider a film role, she categorically said: "No. Just music. I'm not pursuing it at all. I haven't acted in five years. It feels like a past life."
The star is best known for her controversial music videos, her rock 'n' roll attitude and grunge-inspired style these days, and insists she is just as hardcore as she seems.
Talking about her tipple of choice before opening for Guns N' Roses, the 'Just Tonight' hitmaker quipped: "Have a whiskey and walk on stage. [Fruit juice] is not an option."
The 20-year-old singer also hinted she would be open to the possibility of meshing her rock sound with rap in the future.
Taylor explained: "It would have to be the right fit. But there's a South African rap group called Die Antwoord I'm a big fan of."

Ferne McCann: TOWIE will be ‘strange’ without Sam

Ferne McCann says 'The Only Way is Essex' will be "strange" without Sam Faiers.
The 23-year-old reality TV star is sad that her best friend has decided to quit the show after the eleventh series ended last month and feels the show won't be the same without her.
She said: "I'm so sad that Sam has left 'TOWIE'. She's my best friend and it will be strange for me and Billie [Faiers, Sam's sister] not to have her on set.
"But she wants to concentrate on her relationship with Joey Essex and they're getting on much better since he's not been on the show. I think it will be good for them."
Ferne had her fair share of drama on the latest series of 'TOWIE', clashing with newcomer Fran Parman, and she foresees more catfights ahead as Lydia Bright - Fran's pal - has returned to the show.
She added to Star magazine: "I'm still hurt about arguing with Fran Parman. She said she thinks I'm not a girls' girl but I've always stood up for women and I always welcome new people.
"I'm also surprised Lydia Bright is back. She's lovely and we move in the same circles, but we've never been on the show together. She's good friends with Fran, so the next series might bring some drama."

Nick Carter weds Lauren Kitt

Nick Carter got married in southern California on Saturday (12.04.14).
The Backstreet Boys star, who previously dated Paris Hilton, tied the knot with his fiancée Lauren Kitt, after he proposed with a seven-carat pear-shaped diamond ring in February 2013.
The happy couple hosted an Arabian-themed rehearsal dinner on Friday night (11.04.14), according to PEOPLE.com.
The 34-year-old singer's bandmate A.J. McLean also posted a photograph of himself on Instagram on Friday with the caption: "Chillin at the house getting ready to head to the rehearsal dinner of the wedding most of u thought would never happen but I'm so happy it is finally! Congrats to my little bro for growing up and finding love. So proud of u bro. Love u both @nickcarter and @laurenkitt (sic)"
Fitness expert and aspiring actress Lauren posted a photo on Instagram of her and her father last Saturday (05.04.14), writing: "Next Saturday the first man I ever loved with give me away to the love of my life Nick Carter. I love you Dad."

Jenny McCarthy isn’t ‘anti-vaccine’

Jenny McCarthy insists she isn't "anti-vaccine."
The 'The View' co-host, whose 11-year-old son Evan has autism, hit back at her critics for blasting her for her controversial stance on inoculation, and thinks children shouldn't have to undergo several injections at once because they could be linked to the development disorder.
The 41-year-old star wrote in the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper on Saturday (12.04.14): "I am not 'anti-vaccine.' This is not a change in my stance nor is it a new position that I have recently adopted. For years, I have repeatedly stated that I am, in fact, 'pro-vaccine' and for years I have been wrongly branded as 'anti-vaccine.'"
The blonde beauty, who is dating Donnie Wahlberg, credits her son for inspiring her to ask more questions.
She said: "What happened to critical thinking? What happened to asking questions because every child is different? I embarked on this quest not only for myself and my family, but for countless parents who shared my desire for knowledge that could lead to options and alternate schedules, but never to eliminate the vaccines."
She added: "For my child, I asked for a schedule that would allow one shot per visit instead of the multiple shots they were and still are giving infants.
"One size does not fit all."
Kristin Cavallari also recently came under fire after she decided not to vaccinate her child.
She said: "Here's the thing: At the end of the day, I'm just a mom. I'm trying to make the best decision for my kid.
"There are very scary statistics out there regarding what is in vaccines and what they cause - asthma, allergies, ear infections, all kinds of things. And we feel like we're making the best decision for our kids."

Kelly Osbourne defends Justin Bieber

Kelly Osbourne thinks Justin Bieber should be allowed to make mistakes.
The 'Fashion Police' co-host, who became friends with the 'Baby' hitmaker when he gave her a graffiti lesson in January, says the 20-year-old singer deserves "a break" because it is difficult to grow up in the spotlight.
The 29-year-old star, who was thrust into stardom with the success of her family's show 'The Osbournes,' when she was a teenager, told the HuffPost Live: "Even Justin Bieber, it's not fair. Because if you remember, when I was 16, all of a sudden I was one of the most famous 16-year-olds in the entire world. And it happened overnight -- and there wasn't Twitter then. Every teenager deserves to make a mistake and act out and learn from them.
"And how can they learn from their mistakes if there's always somebody there trying to fix it for them and no one actually trying to help them? So in that situation, when it comes to Justin Bieber, I find it really unfair. I think people need to give the kid a break."
The 'Beauty and A Beat' hitmaker is set to appear in court in Miami on May 5 after he was charged with driving under the influence (DUI), resisting arrest and driving without a valid licence, all of which he has pleaded not guilty to.

Hilary Duff is ‘still separated’

Hilary Duff is "still separated" from Mike Comrie.
The former couple, who announced their split in January, sparked speculation they had reconciled after being spotted shopping and partying at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival together on Friday (11.04.14), but they reportedly just friends.
An insider told PEOPLE.com: "They are still separated but very good friends. They are at Coachella this weekend, which is sure to fan the flames, but they aren't a couple. It's just not true - they remain separated."
The duo, who have a two-year-old son Luca together, said at the time of their split that they would "remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives."
Eyewitness previously claimed the 'So Yesterday' hitmaker, 26, was holding the former ice-hockey player's hand as they purchased a handbag for her in a Chanel store in Los Angeles on Thursday (09.04.14) before flying to Indio, California for the music festival.
A spokesperson for Hilary declined to comment.
Another source said the couple decided to reunite during a romantic trip to the Bahamas in February.
The source said: "Hilary and Mike hooked up when they were in the Bahamas. Once they were together with their son Luca in the Caribbean, it got emotional and real. Mike broke down and begged Hilary for a second chance.
"They've been meeting for hook-ups ever since, and Hilary's softened and the two are moving forward to see if they can work it out."
