Daniel Radcliffe shaved a fan's head on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on Tuesday (29.07.14 ).
The 25-year-old actor warned his willing victim, Dan from Florida, that he wasn't "known for haircutting skills" but the eager young man didn't appear too concerned as the 'Woman in Black' star got to work.
Halfway through the haircut, Daniel quipped: "If I left you as you are now, no one would ever talk to you again."
And Jimmy added: "If we were to stop right now, this would be the worst haircut that anyone has ever received."
However, friends and family of the University of Florida student were impressed
Twitter user @hannnahrath wrote: "My cousin got his hair cut by Daniel Radcliffe on Jimmy Kimmel tonight."
And @LAXers4lifee added: "Our family friends were visiting California, went to LA & the older kid just got his hair cut by Daniel Radcliffe on jimmy kimmel #wtf."
Daniel was on the show to promote his latest movie 'What If', in which he plays a medical school dropout Wallace who has been repeatedly burned by bad relationships.
He meets Chantry, who lives with her boyfriend Ben, but the chemistry between them is undeniable.

Carmen Electra had "so much fun" with Simon Cowell.
The former 'Baywatch' star enjoyed a three-month romance with the music mogul - who has five-month-old son Eric with girlfriend Lauren Silverman - from December 2012 and says he was "awesome and very charming" during their time together.
She told Loaded magazine: "I just thought Simon was so much fun and was so smart and he's really interesting.
"I think he's awesome and very charming. He has such a great sense of humour and I honestly think he's going to be an amazing father, I truly do."
And Carmen thinks little Eric will grow up to take over his father's showbiz empire.
She added: "I'm sure little Eric Cowell will get a lot of knowledge of entertainment and business. He'll absolutely have to take over the family empire. I can see it. I can picture him doing that."
Simon has previously said he plans for Eric to inherit his company in the future.
He said: "In all seriousness, he's going to do what I do. In time he's going to inherit my business. That's certainly the plan."

Justin Bieber is moving out of his Beverly Hills condo after upsetting his neighbours.
The 20-year-old singer has upset other residents in the building he currently lives in with his out of control parties and after police were recently called six times in a single weekend, he has decided to move before the end of September.
TMZ reports he is trying to decide between two new locations, one condo in the lavish apartment building Candy Spelling lives in in Century City and a house in Los Angeles.
Police recently advised Justin's neighbours to place him under citizen's arrest if he disturbs them again.
After law enforcement officials were called out to the 'Baby' singer's Beverly Hills home six times - four times for excessive noise in the middle of the night - police spoke to his fellow residents about the situation and advised neighbours that they can't make an arrest for misdemeanour offences if they don't see them happen.
Meanwhile, residents in the building told the website the singer's partying - which saw him joined by 75 guests one day and 20 the following evening - left communal areas including hallways and elevators "reeking" of marijuana, while his friends were said to be obvious about their drug use.
One source said: "There were bimbos lining up to do drugs in the lobby bathroom."
Despite the multiple call-outs, Justin was not cited as he agreed to turn the music down.

The 28-year-old actor - who was born and raised in London - enjoys returning to visit family and friends in the UK but has "grown to like" living in sunny Los Angeles.
He told the Daily Telegraph newspaper: "I spent two months in England last year, which is the longest I've spent there in six years, which was nice, but I always go back to England at Christmas and get so depressed that I'm glad to get back to Los Angeles.
"I've really grown to like LA and I guess that's my home at the moment."
The 'Rover' actor bought a house in Los Angeles a few years ago but joked he wasn't "quite old enough to be dealing with plumbing and stuff" so rents a smaller property now.
He added: "I spent about six months borrowing people's houses, which was nice. Now I'm renting a place which is much smaller."
And the 'Twilight Saga' star claims he lost most of his clothes during one house move.
He said: "I've started wearing the same thing pretty much every day like a uniform. I haven't taken this jacket off for weeks.
"It's ridiculous. I don't understand how I don't have any clothes. I've basically stolen every item of clothing that anyone's ever given me for a premiere but in my closet there are literally about three things.
"I'm sure there's some kind of random storage box full of them somewhere."
