Rolf Harris ‘attacked girl with daughter in room’

Rolf Harris allegedly assaulted a teenage girl while his daughter was in the room, a court has heard.
The former children's TV presenter - who denies 12 counts of assault against the woman and three other girls between 1968 and and 1986 - has been accused of abusing the unidentified female, who was friends with his daughter Bindi, from the age of 13 at his home, as well as hers, and on holiday.
The woman - now 40 - gave evidence from behind a screen at Southwark Crown Court today (12.05.14), claiming Rolf, 84, performed a sex act on her at his home in Bray, Berkshire, and didn't seem troubled by the fact Bindi was asleep nearby.
The claimant also described other instances of abuse by the former 'Animal Hospital' host, alleging he once fondled his penis in front of her. She described the Australian star's anatomy as "small ... very, very small".
Rolf is also accused of inappropriately hugging and tickling the then-teenager and was branded "creepy" in court.
The woman said: "The way he hugged you and tickled you all over was cringey. I never liked it. Rolf would fold himself around you. He was a big man. He would fold you in his arms and tickle you up and down your body."
Quizzed why she never told Rolf's daughter Bindi or his wife Alwen Hughes about the attack, the claimant said: "I was shocked and panicked by it. I didn't know what to do. I sat on the end of the bed in a state of shock, really."
The trial continues.

Rita Ora’s Fifty Shades of nerves

Rita Ora was careful not to "embarrass anybody" filming 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.
The 23-year-old singer is set to try her hand at acting in the new blockbuster adaptation of E.L. James' best-selling erotic novel and she admits she was so nervous about her role - playing Christian Grey's sister Mia - she worried she would mess up.
Appearing on Capital FM's Vodafone Big Top 40 on Sunday night (11.05.14), she said: "I've just shot the movie, 'Fifty Shades of Grey'. That took up a lot of my time as I didn't wanna embarrass anybody, so I made sure I knew exactly what I was doing.
"It was an incredible experience. I went from not knowing what it's like being on a movie set, to feeling like I knew them all for years, and I wasn't even there for that long."
'Fifty Shades of Grey' will star Irish hunk Jamie Dornan in the role of bondage-loving Christian Grey and newcomer Dakota Johnson as his virginal paramour Anastasia Steele.
Ora admits part of her nervousness stems from joining the film's cast so late into production.
The singer explained: "They'd already been filming for months and months, so I came in mid-way through the film. I can honestly say it's so cool to be in it. I'm so excited, I was really nervous. I kind of came in last minute, I auditioned last minute."
'Fifty Shades of Grey' is out next Valentine's Day (14.02.15).

Josh Hartnett was forced to ‘rethink’ his life

Josh Hartnett claims witnessing poverty while making 'Black Hawk Down' made him "rethink" his own life.
The 35-year-old actor pursued roles in blockbusters before making the 2001 action film, which was based on the Battle of Mogadishu in Somalia, and he's confessed that seeing children that had been intentionally injured so they could earn more money as beggars made him question his own path.
Quizzed on whether he'd found it hard to work on 'Black Hawk Down', he said: "Honestly it wasn't that traumatic for me, but being in a place with that amount of poverty, the only real opportunity that people had to make money was to beg.
"So children were being maimed when they were very young to make them better beggars and it just forced to me to rethink what I was doing a little bit."
The 'Penny Dreadful' star left California to return to his hometown where he focused on reconnecting with his family and friends.
Josh told ITV's 'This Morning': "I moved back to Minnesota after doing 'Black Hawk Down', and that was just a few films that I was working on didn't come together in the way that we had hoped they would or in the time we had hoped they would.
"So I went back and wrote a screenplay and I got back together with my high-school girlfriend actually and just spent time with my friends and family back home."

Tom Hanks exercises with wife

Tom Hanks and his wife exercise together.
The 'Saving Mr. Banks' actor was diagnosed with Type II diabetes last year, and since then, he and spouse Rita Wilson have made health and fitness their priority.
Rita told People: "We've really cut back a lot on sugar, and we find time in every day to exercise. We actually walk and hike together. We're not going to be doing duo, tantric yoga, or whatever.
"When [you] were younger, you used to watch what you eat and exercise because you wanted to look really awesome, and now it's because you want to feel really awesome."
The couple recently celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary and can't believe they have been together for so long.
Rita added: "Sadly, on our actual anniversary, Tom was away working. But we celebrated the week before. It was so amazing. We kept just saying it to each other, 'Seriously? 26 years? Where did it go? It's gone so fast.' "
Tom previously admitted he had been advised by doctors he could control the condition - which occurs when the body doesn't produce enough insulin to function properly - if he lost weight.
He explained: ''It's controllable through diet. My doctor said, 'If you can weight what you weighed in high school, you'll essentially be completely healthy and not have type 2 diabetes.' And I said, 'Well I'm going to have type 2 diabetes then.' ''

Mickey Rooney’s kids contest will

Mickey Rooney's eight children have filed a legal bid to contest his will.
The late actor bequeathed his entire modest $18,000 estate to his stepson and carer Mark Aber but his biological kids filed paperwork with the Superior Court of the State of California on May 8 alleging Mark took advantage of him during his final days.
The documents have been filed against Michael Augustine, the conservator for the late actor's estate and claim he helped manipulate their famous father - who died last month aged 93 - with Aber.
According to RadarOnline.com, the documents read: "Decedent's health was failing and he was of very advanced age; Respondent had come to be the court appointed conservator of the estate and person of Decedent after a long and traumatic period in his life involving elder abuse.
"During this period, Respondent acted in concert with Aber, Decedent's stepson, who occupied a position of trust and confidence as the caretaker of Decedent and who, during this period, lived with Decedent along with Aber's wife, Charlene Aber, before and up to the time of Decedent's death... Decedent reposed trust and confidence in Aber."
The documents further claim that the conservator and Mickey's step-son were able to convince him what to write in his will.
They continue: "Respondent and Aber were able to and did control and influence the mind and actions of the Decedent to such an extent that Decedent did whatever Respondent and Aber instructed him to do.
"Taking advantage of this trust and confidence, Respondent and Aber suggested and dictated the contents of the Document, arranged for the execution of the Document, and caused Decedent to execute the Document."
The legal bid is asking for the will to be nulled as the children believe it was not drafted in "the free and voluntary act" of their father. They also want to be awarded legal fees.
Though Mickey had just $18,000 in the bank when he died, he is worth more through residuals and royalties.
He disinherited wife Janice because she will receive Social Security and some of his pension benefits, which total about $8,400 a month.

Kelly Clarkson’s baby due in June

Kelly Clarkson's baby is reportedly due on June 18.
The 'Beautiful Disaster' singer and her music manager husband Brandon Blackstock have set up a registry at Babies R Us for their daughter, which apparently reveals the due date of their first child.
According to RadarOnline.com, Kelly has asked her close friends and family to buy unisex presents for the tiny tot, with cuddly toy animals featuring heavily on the list of 83 items.
The total value of the registry reportedly amounts to $3,000 and covers everything from baby basics like a breast pump to innovative presents like a baby sign language book and a hippo-shaped humidifier.
Kelly - who announced she was expecting a girl in January - clearly had her family members in mind when she chose goodies like bibs printed with the words 'I Love My Grandma' and 'I Love My Aunt'.
The 32-year-old star also appears to be hoping her daughter will follow in her footsteps and be musically inclined, since she included a rainbow xylophone and a Baby Einstein lullaby CD.
A Cookie Monster puppet towel and a red car seat are the only presents to have been purchased so far.
Kelly - who is a stepmother to Brandon's children Savannah, 12, and Seth, eight - was delighted when she discovered she was pregnant since the couple only had been trying to conceive since their wedding in October.
She said last autumn: "[We want a baby] now! Practice makes perfect! We're trying, trying, trying ... Like rabbits!"
