Leonardo DiCaprio’s Blood On Snow lands scribe

Leonardo DiCaprio's 'Blood On Snow' has landed a scribe.
The 39-year-old actor and his Appian Way production company with partner Jennifer Davisson Killoran are set to be working on the film with Kevin McCormick's Langley Park banner for which 'Buried' scribe Chris Sparling will write a screenplay, reports Deadline.com.
The 'Wolf of Wall Street' hunk may also have a role on screen in the new project which is based on Jo Nesbo's book.
While Norwegian author Nesbo and Niclas Salomonsson will executive produce.
The story follows a hit man who is forced to go into hiding after he fails on a job and finds himself on the run with his intended target, who also happens to be his boss' wife.
This comes after reports that DiCaprio has reportedly "burned" himself out and has been told to slow down by his friends as they fear his hectic work schedule is having a negative effect on his health and personal life.
A source said: "Leo has been working like a demon over the past three years - and it's now starting to come back and haunt him.
"He's pretty burned out at the moment and suffering from insomnia from pushing himself so hard.
"Everybody is begging Leo to slow down but he's just very focused on making a lot of money right now -- to the exclusion of almost everything else."

Drag Queens of London celebrate Conchita Wurst win

Conchita Wurst has become a symbol of change for drag queens in London.
The fabulous bearded singer, who earned a victory for Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest last weekend, is being heralded as a beacon of hope for equality and tolerance amongst the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community after defeating the odds to become the first drag queen to ever win the competition.
Lady Lloyd, one of the stars of new reality show 'Drag Queens of London', exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It was so emotional when she won, we were all screaming and jumping up and down. I host a Eurovision party every year and the bar was absolutely packed. It was really moving. She's number one in Russia now, how great is that? It's sort of a f**k you."
The flamboyant star - who is a member of the Buffalo Girls and models for Vivienne Westwood - was shocked to hear the leader of Russia's Liberal Democratic Party had branded Conchita's win "the end of Europe" and thinks the public is more open minded than some "backwards" world leaders.
Lady Lloyd explained: "It's going to make a difference because it's exposure. Everything helps. There's the same amount of gay people in Russia as everywhere else. It's just so backwards that some man thinks that there's not.
"There's always going to be drag, it's the oldest profession. Shakespeare was all about drag! It's got its place in history.
"Everything's moving ahead as it should, with gay marriage etc. It's a slow process, changing the world one eyelash at a time!"
However, the drag queen doesn't think it was fair for people to take their anger about Russia's political stance and "anti-gay" laws out on the country's act by booing them.
She added: "I didn't boo them, a lot of people did in the bar. But they're two sweet little girls, they didn't deserve it. But at the same time, they're choosing to represent their country."
Brand new episodes of 'Drag Queens of London' air Tuesdays at 10pm on London Live - Freeview 8, YouView 8, Sky 117 and Virgin 159.

Ricky Wilson questions reason to return to The Voice

Ricky Wilson doesn't know what the reason would be for him to return to 'The Voice'.
The Kaiser Chiefs singer was one of the four coaches on the last series of the BBC One talent show and proved to be very popular among viewers.
Although he enjoyed his time on the programme, Ricky has touring commitments with his band following the success of their fifth studio album 'Education, Education, Education & War' and he admits one of the motivations for him joining the line-up was to spread the word about his new record, something he no longer needs to do.
Speaking at The 2014 Radio Academy Awards in London, he revealed: "I loved doing 'The Voice', although I didn't enjoy it at the time. It was really hard work but at the same time one of the most rewarding things I've ever done. If you asked me the day before it ended (if I'd come back), I'd be like I don't know, but the day after I kind of missed it a little bit. I don't know if I'll be back at the moment because the first time I did it I had a really strong reason to do it and that was the pride I had in the record. If I did it again, and it comes around in October, November time, I don't know what the reason would be to do it other than that I enjoy it. But that might be the best reason of all. I'll wait to be asked."
Although Ricky has proven himself as a talent show judge on 'The Voice' he isn't sure if he'd want to make the switch to 'The X Factor' and doesn't think he'd be allowed to anyway.
When quizzed on what he'd do if Simon Cowell asked him to join his ITV series, the 36-year-old rocker said: "Contractually I wouldn't be allowed to ... I don't know because I was terrified about doing 'The Voice', so I'd be terrified about doing 'X Factor'. But these opportunities, when they come along now, I take a lot more seriously than I used to."
Kylie Minogue has already announced she won't be returning to 'The Voice' next year, while it is rumoured that will.i.am is leaving after three series potentially leaving Sir Tom Jones as the only remaining original judge.

Pharrell Williams’ ‘weird’ musical techniques

Pharrell Williams has a "weird" way of making music.
The 'Happy' hitmaker, who wrote and produced his entire second album 'G I R L', admits he used to "overthink" elements of his work.
He told Notion magazine: "I used to always overthink it because I'm trying to produce myself.
"I'm having to draw from myself, which is so weird, so I'd always overshoot."
He insists he feels "comfortable" singing and performing 'Girl' because it's not about him.
The 41-year-old singer added: "What's made me feel comfortable about making an album is because it's not about me. It's about girl. I feel comfortable singing it and making it and performing it."
'G I R L' was released on March 3, 2014 and Pharrell previously said the capitalisation and double-spacing of the record's title reflects society.
Quizzed about the title, he explained: "Because when you look at it, it looks a little weird [...] because society is a little unbalanced."
The lead single from the album is Academy Award-nominated 'Happy', from the 'Despicable Me 2' soundtrack, and it was commercially successful, peaking at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100.

Victoria Beckham makes her doughnut snack last

Victoria Beckham will "pick" at a Krispy Kreme doughnut "every hour or so" throughout the day.
The 40-year-old fashion designer - who is married to retired soccer star David with whom she has sons Brooklyn, 15, Romeo 11, Cruz, nine, and daughter Harper, two - is a huge fan of the tasty treats and sends her chauffeur to collect family boxes of the snack from department store Selfridges.
Although her boys gulp their snacks down within minutes she is said to make hers last.
A source told The Daily Star newspaper: "Krispy Kremes are her favourite. She sometimes cuts one into pieces and then picks at it. It's like a reward for her hard work to have a piece every hour or so. Her fave flavours are Millionaire's Shortbread and White Chocolate Almond Praline."
David, 39, even tried to bake his own homemade version for her but they didn't turn out "too great".
The source added: "David even tried to make them for her with the boys as he loves baking. But unfortunately they didn't turn out too great."

Justin Bieber investigated for attempted robbery?

Justin Bieber is reportedly being investigated by police for an attempted robbery.
The 20-year-old singer is believed to have got into an incident with a young woman who he thought was taking photos him on her mobile phone on Monday (12.05.14) while he was at Sherman Oaks Castle Park, Los Angeles playing minigolf.
The woman claims Justin demanded to see her phone so he could delete the pictures however when she refused he grabbed it from her bag.
She began "wrestling" with the star for the phone and although he "ripped it out of her hands" he wasn't able to access the pictures because the phone was locked.
Justin then demanded she unlock it and she proved she hadn't taken any snaps.
TMZ reports, "She says she told Justin she and her 13-year-old daughter just wanted to say hi, and Justin screamed, 'You're humiliating yourself in front of your daughter. Why don't you just get out of here.' Her daughter started crying."
Following the incident she filed a complaint with the LAPD.
Officer Rosario Herrera informed The Huffington Post he's not been charged by police with a crime since "it's too preliminary" at this point in the investigation.
Meanwhile, Justin is currently scheduled to go on trial for charges of driving under the influence in Florida following his arrest in January.

Simon Cowell will marry eventually

Simon Cowell and Lauren Silverman will get married "eventually".
The New York socialite, who has three-month-old son Eric with the music mogul, says the couple aren't in a rush to tie the knot and are simply enjoying parenthood.
Lauren - who was recently granted a divorce from millionaire ex-husband Andrew Silverman, the father of her eight-year-old son Adam - said: "Of course we will get married eventually, but not yet."
Meanwhile, Lauren thinks the couple's son Eric looks more like his famous father than her, and she isn't surprised by how well Simon has taken to being a father.
She said: "I think he's absolutely adorable! He does look a lot like his dad. He looks nothing like me.
"I'm not surprised, I knew he would be an amazing father. He's an amazing guy with a good heart. Sometimes when you get in a situation, you rise to the occasion and he really has. Simon's an amazing dad. It's so cute when I see them together. I just love it."
And it seems Simon's doting mother Julie is happy for the couple and their newborn, too.
Lauren added to Britain's Star magazine: "I think she's over the moon that he's settled down."

Katie Price reluctant to end friendship

Katie Price is reportedly reluctant to cut off ties with Jane Pountney.
The 35-year-old former glamour model has accused her close pal of 20 years of having a "full blown sexual affair" with her husband Kieran Hayler, but it's claimed the star is worried Jane may spill her darkest secrets if they ever stopped being friends.
A source said: "Katie cannot imagine things going back to normal with Jane, but she's said she's not sure she can completely cut her out. Jane's been through a lot with her and knows every intimate detail. She's always acted like a bodyguard, as well as a shoulder to cry on. She's Katie's party pal and knows so many details that Katie doesn't want to become public knowledge."
Pregnant Katie has been left devastated by the news her husband - who is the father of nine-month-old Jett and her unborn baby - had a seven-month affair with Jane, and after two previous failed marriages, the mother-of-four is "inconsolable".
The insider explained to Closer mgazine: "Katie's been through so much, meeting Kieran seemed like everything was finally coming right for her. She saw them having a big family and enjoying a happy future. Those dreams have now been shattered. She genuinely believed he loved her. The fact he cheated with her best friend is shocking."

Solange Knowles ‘yelling’ at girls close to Jay Z

Solange Knowles was reportedly "yelling" at anyone who got close to Jay Z at the Met Gala after-party last week.
The 27-year-old singer physically attacked her brother-in-law in an elevator at the bash at The Standard Hotel in New York on May 5 but, prior to lashing out at him, she was allegedly warning women to stay away from him.
A source told Us Magazine: "Solange was yelling that anyone who gets close to Jay has to be warned and deal with her as a sister."
The violent altercation between Jay and Solange began to escalate after the rapper and his wife Beyoncé - who have two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy together - tried to get the brunette beauty to leave the party.
A second insider said: "Jay said something small to her along the lines of, 'You are out of line.' Solange was being a loudmouth and snapped at Jay trying to calm her down and get her out of there."
Solange was caught on CCTV kicking and clawing the rapper, 44, before she stormed out of the venue with a disgruntled expression on her face.
Beyoncé followed her sibling out and joined her in an awaiting car, while Jay - whose real name is Shawn Carter - opted to travel alone.
The insider explained: "Bey was just trying to keep the peace and get Solange home, which is why she went with Solange in the car.
"Both Bey and Jay were trying to handle the situation. Solange has been that way before, and Jay and Bey just wanted to get her out of there and home before she really caused a ruckus."

Elle Fanning fancies Ryan Gosling

Elle Fanning has a crush on Ryan Gosling.
The 16-year-old actress admits she has fancied the hunky star, 33, since he wrapped his arms around her once in the past to give her a cuddle.
She explained: "He once gave me a hug. It was pretty intense because he's dreamy. I have a Ryan Gosling colouring book so whenever I want, I can colour Ryan."
The blonde beauty - who is the younger sister of Dakota Fanning, 20 - will next appear in the upcoming movie 'Maleficent', alongside Angelina Jolie, but she admits she was initially scared of the 38-year-old beauty.
She explained to Fashion Magazine: "She is the most elegant lady in the entire world. When she walks into the room, everyone looks and notices... she has such presence and she's really that powerful. No one else could play [the leading role] Maleficent. I was nervous to meet her at first... she's like the queen. When I met her during rehearsals and she immediately grabbed me and hugged me and then I was fine."
Meanwhile, Elle, who is still studying at school, believes Hollywood puts a lot of pressure on young people to grow up and throw themselves into their careers.
She said: "That condescending thing gets me. The 'you're young now but you'll know in a couple of years what life is about', kind of thing. I don't think in a couple of years I'm going to have this huge revelation. I'm still going to be the same person. When you are an adult not everything changes. Teens are who they are. Trying to change us to be older before we should doesn't make sense. I always want to have a free spirit--I don't want to be strict with life."

Rachel Bilson got drugs ‘out of her system’ before fame

Rachel Bilson has admitted she got drugs and alcohol "out of her system" before finding fame.
The 32-year-old actress - who shot into the limelight in 2003 after landing a role in 'The O.C' - has managed to avoid the unhealthy pressures of fame because she'd already kicked her bad habits prior to her career.
Speaking in the June issue of Health magazine, she explained: "I grew up in Los Angeles and did all that when I was younger. I went to the clubs and did all the drugs and alcohol. I got it out of my system, so by the time I was on 'The O.C', I was like, 'Wow, I can just enjoy this'."
The brunette beauty then began dating her co-star Adam Brody for three years, before they split up in 2006, but she believes their relationship stopped her from partying.
She added: "Then I started dating a co-star, so it was more of a domesticated thing; you're just home or with friends--and not out to party."
Rachel is now looking to settle down and start a family with her boyfriend Hayden Christensen, whom she has been dating for seven years, as she believes she and her beau would make excellent parents.
She said: "To start a family would be good, any year in the next few years. I've always wanted to be a mom. I have always wanted kids. I can just see this little toddler waddling around the house."
Speaking of Hayden, she added: "He's so incredibly supportive and considerate. It's so basic--that should be there. Because these things are so much more important when you're older. I've been in my relationship for seven years, so we've grown up together in a way."

Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley to lash out at people judging parenting style

Jenni 'JWoww' Farley will "punch" anyone in the face who tries to judge her parenting style.
The former 'Jersey Shore' star is set to welcome her first child - a baby girl - into the world with her fiancé Roger Mathews in July, and she insists she won't let anyone tell her how to control the tiny tot's behaviour.
She told Us Magazine: "I don't give a s**t. I'll punch you in the face if you try and judge me on how I discipline my daughter."
However, the brunette beauty believes Roger will be ready to step in if their daughter starts misbehaving.
She explained: "I think because of Roger and I's stature, she's not gonna do anything to p*ss us off, cause I'll just be like, 'Daddy's gonna deal with that when he gets home'."
Meanwhile, JWoww's friend Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi, who is also pregnant, doesn't think the reality TV star is enjoying her pregnancy due to the weight she has gained.
Snooki, who already has 20-month-old son Lorenzo with her fiancé Jionni LaValle, said previously: "She's definitely freaking out, she doesn't want to get fat.
"She's working out twice a day - she's insane. But I gave her a copy of my book ['Baby Bumps' - about how her pregnancy changed her], so my book's helping her. And any questions she has she knows she can come to me. I'm always here for her."
Meanwhile, Snooki, 26, is due to give birth to her second child - also a baby girl - in September.
