Chris Martin: I sing Pulp on karaoke

Chris Martin sings Pulp songs on karaoke.
The Coldplay frontman, who is a big fan of the 'Disco 2000' band, claims he couldn't do what Pulp do but he still likes to get up on the microphone in bars and imitates the band's frontman, Jarvis Cocker.
He said: "I'm going through such a Pulp phase. I just love 'em. I listen to Jarvis and there's part of me that thinks wow I just can't do that.
"But I can do what I do and I'm very grateful that I can do that. I love 'Different Class' but then I like bits and bobs from all over the place.
"I've never done a Pulp cover in public but in Karaoke I've done a few. Jarvis is very cool, you've got to get that hand twist that he does."
Meanwhile, the singer and his band - also featuring Guy Berryman, Jonny Buckland and Will Champion - have been through "most rock and roll clichés" and say the fact that they're not touring this year means they relish the few small shows they have been doing.
Chris told Absolute Radio's Pete Donaldson in an interview conducted before one of their gigs at London's Royal Albert Hall this week: "I have a big connection to the Albert Hall because when I first moved to London, the first concert I ever got in to see was the Black Crows and I bought tickets off a tout.
"It just seemed like the hugest place in the world. I'm a huge Black Crows fan and the singer Chris, I think smiled at me which sort of made life at the time."

Ed Sheeran asked to kiss fan

Ed Sheeran was asked to be a fan's first kiss - by her mother.
The 'Sing' hitmaker was left slightly disturbed when the "pushy" mum of a female fan asked him to be her daughter's first kiss on the lips, but Ed swiftly declined as the fan was a little too young.
He recalled: "My fans are actually pretty normal. I don't really get weird ones. It's usually the mums that are quite intense and pushy. One asked me if I would, 'be my daughter's first kiss'. She was 11. It was really weird."
Ed is currently celebrating the success of his second album, 'x', which recently topped the UK album chart but the crooner doesn't feel fame has changed him too much.
He explained to We Love Pop magazine: "I'm just more comfortable now. I don't have to worry if I can pay for a train ticket to the studio or if I'm having a burger and chips or just chips at night. It's easier."
The 23-year-old star is also not worried about ex-girlfriends realising he's singing about them in his autobiographical music.
He shrugged: "That's the worry being a songwriter and dating a songwriter - that's going to happen. It's one of the hazards of the job."

Justin Bieber wants ‘open relationship’ with Selena Gomez

Justin Bieber reportedly wants an "open relationship" with Selena Gomez.
The 20-year-old singer has recently rekindled his romance with the 'Come & Get It' hitmaker, but he's now decided he doesn't want to commit himself to just her.
A source told the HollywoodLife.com: "He wants an open relationship with Selena, and he actually thinks he can make it happen. A lot of the guys he hangs out with now get away with that kind of thing, they talk about it all the time and that's got in Justin's head."
The 'Baby' hitmaker - who has been in an on/off relationship with Selena since 2010 - has been spotted with a string of girls recently, including his former fling Chantel Jeffries, who he took on vacation in February.
However, Selena's friends believe the brunette beauty, 21, isn't fazed by Justin's flirtatious behaviour with other women because she's brain-washed by him.
A source said previously: "She doesn't seem to care that he spends time with other women and isn't always honest with her. She's hypnotised."
The turbulent couple had a brief split in April amid rumours Selena was jealous of Justin's friendship with reality TV star Kylie Jenner, 16, but the hunk managed to win back his ex after showering her with gifts.
A source said: "Justin's extremely doting on her, and there hasn't been one second where he hasn't been touchy-feely and sweet with her."

Brody Jenner thinks Robin Thicke is ‘creepy’

Brody Jenner thinks Robin Thicke's attempt to win Paula Patton back is "creepy".
The 30-year-old reality TV star finds it weird the singer, 37, has named his new album 'Paula' after his estranged wife following their split earlier this year.
When asked if he thinks Robin's public attempt to win back his wife is creepy or romantic, Brody said: "I want to know how she feels about it ... because if I were in her shoes, I don't know if I'd want my dirty laundry aired to the public like that. I'm going to go with creepy on this one."
Meanwhile, Brody - who recently revealed he used to date his brother's wife Leah - also admitted he's never had a relationship with Lauren Conrad, despite MTV portraying their romance on 'The Hills'.
Speaking on 'The Brody Jenner Podcast with Dr. Mike Dow' yesterday (03.07.14), Brody said: "Lauren Conrad and I never dated. Lauren and I have always been just friends. We worked together on a show called 'The Hills', where we had to pretend like we were dating but we never dated."
When asked if his relationship with his co-star Kristin Cavallari was also staged for the show, he replied: "I dated Kristin when we were very young ... when she was on 'Laguna Beach' and I was on a show called 'Princes of Malibu' with Spencer Pratt ... we met at a party in Hollywood ... but during ['The Hills'] when we filmed, Kristin and I did not date, we were not hooking up."

Kim Kardashian to fall pregnant ‘really soon’?

Kim Kardashian is convinced she's going to have another baby "really soon".
The 33-year-old star believes she and husband Kanye West, 37, will give their 12-month-old daughter North a little sibling in the near future after a psychic predicted she would fall pregnant any day now.
Speaking to her sister Khloé, 30, and brother Rob, 27, in a preview of Sunday's (06.07.14) episode of 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians', Kim said: "[My psychic said] I'm going to get pregnant really soon."
The spiritualist - who pointed out Kim cries herself to sleep at night - also had some advice for Khloé and Rob.
Khloé - who has spoken publicly about her struggles to fall pregnant - asked Kim: "Am I going to have any kids?"
The brunette beauty replied: "She said you should get a sperm donor and the guy will come later."
However, before Khloé had a chance to comment, Kim turned to Rob, who has battled with severe depression after piling on the pounds recently, and said: "Oh she said you should get a puppy and you're not bipolar."
The teaser clip shows the trio working out in the back garden as they lunge between stairs to shape up for Kim's wedding day, which took place last month in Florence, Italy.
However, the reality TV star's attitude towards fitness and healthy eating in the run up to her big day was starting to irritate Khloé.
Speaking to the camera, she said: "All Kim does is talk about fitness and what she's eating. I just feel like everything is kind of like a competition."

Robbie Williams breaks fan’s arm after fall

Robbie Williams has broken a fan's arm after falling off stage during a recent gig in Newcastle.
The 'Candy' hitmaker left Margaret Nash, 52, in agony after he crushed her when he lost his footing and stumbled into the audience during his 'Swings Both Ways' show at the Metro Radio Arena last month.
Margaret missed the rest of Robbie's performance as she was being seen by paramedics before being escorted to hospital and spending the night there.
Metro Radio Arena general manager Paul Tattenden told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "We attended to the lady after she said she had pain in her arm.
"We were later told she had broken it. We got in touch with Robbie's production company and they have been in touch with the lady."
Margaret's daughter Katie took to Twitter after the accident, which has left her mother in a plaster cast, to blast the singer, 40, for his bad manners after the fall.
She tweeted: "You fell on my mam and she's been in hospital with a broken arm. You never even said sorry."
Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Robbie has slipped on stage as he also took a tumble in 2006 when he tried to show off some fancy footwork during a gig in Leeds.
He told the audience at the time: "That will teach me for being cocky, won't it. I fell over like a t**t."

Dakota Fanning doesn’t ‘parade’ personal life

Dakota Fanning will never "parade" her personal life.
The 20-year-old actress believes she's managed to stay grounded despite her childhood stardom because she doesn't divulge too much information about herself.
Speaking to Town & Country magazine, Dakota - who doesn't use Facebook or Twitter - said: "I'm just never going to parade my personal life. If you choose to not do it, it's not hard to not do it ... Any part of an artistic business is made better by there being a little mystery."
However, the blonde beauty - who has been dating model Jamie Strachan, 32, for the past year - admits she can't seem to grasp why her fans feel they have a "weird sort of ownership" over her.
She explained: "People don't know me as much as they think they do. I'll be walking down the street and someone will say hello, and I'll go, 'Oh, hi!,' and I'll think I must know this person if they said hello, but then you realise, you don't know them."
Although, despite feeling owned by her adoring fans, Dakota appreciates the sacrifices her mother Heather made for her and her 16-year-old sister Elle's career.
She said: "[My mother] realised I had the potential to do things that were bigger than the life she knew. And she recognised that in Elle, too. When she made that initial move with me to LA, she completely gave up her own dreams and started over in a place she never imagined living. I mean, Los Angeles, to a person from 20 minutes southeast of Atlanta, might as well be Africa."

Shane Warne is dating Emily Scott

Shane Warne is dating Emily Scott.
The former cricketer - whose engagement to Elizabeth Hurley ended earlier this year - has confirmed he's in a relationship with the Australian Playboy model, 30.
Taking to his Twitter account yesterday (02.07.14), he tweeted: "On the way to watch Aussie gun Nick Kyrgios at #Wimbledon ! Go on you good thing, take it down & keep killing it !!!
"Ps And yes I'm taking my girlfriend @EmilyLScott who's looking smoking hot too hahaha !!! (sic)."
The couple sparked rumours they were romancing after they were spotted locking lips in Sydney last month, before attending several events together in the UK.
However, the 44-year-old hunk shot down rumours they were officially dating last month by insisting they were just "friends" and were keen to keep it that way.
He tweeted at the time: "Wow, 8 years of friendship, a full moon party & attending a mates 50th turns into us dating? Whats next, down on a knee
"We're good friends. Both single and intent to keep it that way, end of story
"If and when I'm ever in a relationship, I will let you know!! (sic)."
Shane was previously married to Simone Callahan and has three children Brooke, Summer and Jackson with her, while Emily married Ritchie Neville in 2008 before splitting up with him four months later.

Nicolas Cage becomes a grandfather

Nicolas Cage has become a grandfather.
The 50-year-old actor's son Weston, 23, and his wife Danielle welcomed a baby boy - their first child together - into the world on Tuesday (01.07.14) and have named him Lucian Augustus Coppola Cage.
A representative for the couple told Us Magazine: "Lucian Augustus Coppola Cage was born on July 1, 2014 at 3:14 p.m"
Weston - whose mother is Nicolas' ex-girlfriend Christina Fulton - and Danielle announced their happy news earlier this year and admitted the 'Joe' star was looking forward to becoming a grandfather for the first time.
Weston said previously: "My dad is ecstatic. He was elated immediately when he met Danielle."
The couple also picked out the tiny tot's name prior to his birth and explained in February where they had got the idea for the cute moniker from.
Danielle said: "Lucian is of Romanian descent, which is what I am and Augustus is taken from Weston's grandfather."
Weston added: "His name is August. We honour him very much. He was of extreme brilliance. He was a genius."
Meanwhile, Nicolas - who has been married three times in the past - also has eight-year-old son Kal-El with his current wife Alice Kim.

Lea Michele and Matthew Paetz have ‘open relationship’

Lea Michele and Matthew Paetz have an "open type of relationship".
The 'Glee' actress and her new beau are keen to take their romance slowly by getting to know one another gradually, but without the commitment of being an item.
A source told ABC News: "They're dating! Nothing too serious but they're really happy. They have a very honest and open type of relationship. They share everything and support each other in any way possible."
The 27-year-old star was left devastated by the death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith last year, and Matthew is doing everything he can to support her.
The source explained: "There have been no surprises for Lea at all in this relationship. They make each other really happy. He's very calm but also very protective and he's very doting of her. They're a great team."
The pair - who met on the set of Lea's 'On My Way' music video earlier this year - were recently spotted enjoying a romantic picnic date in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, the duo's budding romance was rocked last month following reports the hunk was a gigolo, who, until recently, offered his companionship to lonely women through online service Cowboys4Angels.
However, the brunette beauty reportedly confronted him over the rumours and he insisted he was a certified life coach, dating expert and massage therapist.

Rita Ora ‘won’t stop believing’ in love

Rita Ora "won't stop believing" in love.
The 23-year-old singer split from her boyfriend Calvin Harris, 30, last month following a year of dating, but she insists the heartbreaking experience hasn't put her off falling for someone else in the near future.
Speaking to German newspaper Bild, she said: "I'm a girl that wants to be loved. I won't stop believing in it [love]."
However, the blonde beauty - who also dated Rob Kardashian, 27, in 2012 until things ended badly when he publicly claimed she had cheated on him - thinks she needs to change her tactics when it comes to dating.
She said: "Maybe I just need to stop looking for it [love]."
The 'RIP' hitmaker shot into the limelight after Jay Z signed her to his record company Roc Nation in 2009 and, although she's grateful for the opportunities that have come her way, she admits fame isn't all glamorous.
She explained: "Jay Z was the first to believe in me and give me a chance. It completely changed my life. Fame also has its dark side, but I wouldn't swap my career for anything in the world."
Meanwhile, since her split from the Scottish DJ, Rita has been seen cosying up to other men in Instagram photographs, and has also spent time in Mexico with R&B singer Khalil Amir Sharieff, who was arrested in Miami with Justin Bieber earlier this year for drag racing.
Calvin, on the other hand, was romantically linked to Ellie Goulding, but the 'Goodness Gracious' hitmaker shot down the rumours by announcing her relationship with McFly's Dougie Poynter.

Megan Fox doesn’t have many friends

Megan Fox doesn't have many friends.
The 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' actress - who has sons Noah, two, and Bodhi, four months, with husband Brian Austin Green - believes she only needs one "great" pal because socialising doesn't come naturally to her.
She told the new issue of America's Cosmopolitan magazine: "I consider myself a 'girl's girl' in that I'm not competitive, jealous, or catty but I don't have a ton of female friends - I have one. Her name is Mindy and she's a facialist. I don't have many guy friends, either. I've never been a social butterfly. I don't feel lonely or isolated. I have one really great friend and that's all I need."
The 28-year-old star also likes to keep her male cast members on their toes by ignoring their flirtatious comments because she likes to feel in control.
She explained: "When I'm working, I refuse to flirt. If someone tries, it becomes an endless roast. I'll say, 'Nice beard, buddy' or 'You look fancy!' I know he's spent an hour doing that specific thing to his hair, and the minute I point it out, his game is shattered.
"I like to have men off their guard. Then you are in charge. You don't ever have to feel like men have power over you."
