Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge caused a "mob scene" when they met up with Beyonce Knowles and Jay Z.
The royal couple, both 32, were introduced to the 'Single Ladies' pop star and her rapper husband at the Cleveland Cavaliers v Brooklyn Nets basketball game at the Barclays Centre in New York last night (08.12.14).
Recalling the moment Beyonce, 33, and Jay Z, 45, met Their Royal Highnesses, a source shared: "Bey and Jay got up out of their seats during the break before the fourth quarter and walked across the court to say hi.
"Everyone was standing up and gawking. It's a mob scene around them."
Despite the attention, Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge appeared to enjoy their time at the match, even when they were broadcast on the court's big screen.
The insider told E! News: "During the time-out, they put them on the Jumbotron. Everyone cheered, but they seemed kind of shy. They smiled and waved. It was cute.
"[William was ] definitely explaining the game to [Catherine]. He's pointing things out and she's nodding a lot."
The second-in-line to the throne even joked about his basketball skills, much to the amusement of his wife.
Posing with a ball ahead of the game, the duke said: "This is where I should be spinning it on my finger."
As Catherine quipped: "You are going to pretend you can actually score."
Britain's Duke of Cambridge was so "excited" during the birth of Prince George, he forgot to ask what the sex of his baby was.
The 32-year-old royal - who is currently expecting his second child with his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge - admitted he got a little flustered in the hospital while Her Royal Highness, also 32, gave birth to their son in July 2013.
Speaking to US President Barack Obama at their meeting in Washington yesterday (08.12.14), Prince William shared: "I remember when George was born, I forgot to actually work out whether it was a boy or a girl.
"The excitement of the event and everything else was just chaos."
Prince William was in Washington as part of a three-day trip to America.
He arrived with the Duchess of Cambridge in New York on Sunday (07.12.14) and the royal couple have already made the most of their time in the United States by visiting various charities and dignitaries.
The pair even found the time to attend the Brooklyn Nets v Cleveland Cavaliers basketball game, where they met pop star Beyonce Knowles and her rapper husband Jay Z.
Kieran Hayler cheated on Katie Price with two of her friends because "they were easy and they didn't say no".
The 27-year-old ex-stripper - who married Katie in 2013 - had affairs with both Jane Pountney and Chrissy Thomas, and Kieran claims he cheated on his wife because both women threw themselves at him.
Asked why he chose to sleep with two of Katie's best friends, Kieran said: "Because they were easy and they didn't say no, which made them even worse friends to Katie. They could have said no. They didn't have to come and meet me in the car park, they didn't have to have sex with me, but they both did and they're two of Katie's best friends, so it shows you what type of people they are."
Kieran - who has two children with Katie, 16-month-old son Jett and four-month-old daughter Bunny - has subsequently received treatment for a sex addiction and he's likened both Jane and Chrissy to prostitutes.
In an interview with the new issue of OK! magazine, he said: "The way they describe it in therapy is that they were basically used as prostitutes without paying for them, as bad as that sounds. Seeing a prostitute isn't really fun as you pay for it and you have it. Chasing someone I wasn't able to get was where I got my kicks.
"I had to deal with the c**p after that went on in my head. There were things that happened when I was younger that affected the way I was. There's been addiction in my family, so it ties in."
Asked to elaborate on the reasons, Kieran said: "I'd rather keep that private. I don't think I ever want to talk about it again. I've spoken about it far too much with therapists. I was bullied at school, though, and that's a massive reason why I buffed up when I was older. That's why I got into stripping too, you want to be the bloke who looks good and who women are attracted to, rather than the kid at school being bullied."
Kieran also insisted his affairs were not motivated exclusively by sex, insisting it was the adrenaline rush of doing something illicit that excited him to seek erotic thrills away from Katie, 36.
He revealed: "There are three types of sex addictions - those who like sex, those who like porn and those who like the adrenaline of doing something naughty, and I had the third one. People in the UK think of sex addiction as something laughable and it's not taken seriously but now I know more about it."
Katie also revealed in her mind she has dismissed her wedding to Kieran in the Bahamas in January 2013 and insists the ceremony planned for next month at which they will renew their vows will be their "real wedding day".
Carl Fogarty's dying friend helped him beat depression.
The new King of the 'I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!' jungle has confessed he became a shadow of his former self when he retired from motorbike racing but claims his best pal Mark Winstanley - who lost his battle with stomach cancer aged 45 - told him to "stop moaning" and make the most of his life.
He said: "Mark stopped me from whinging about who I was. He said, 'Look at me you f*****g d**k, I'm dying and you keep complaining because of who you are'.
"He said to get out there and celebrate what I created for motorcycling and I think that's why I probably ended up doing the show.
"When he died it left a massive hole, but what he said was kind of the kick up the a**e I needed. This show has come at a really good time for me."
The 49-year-old former World Superbike champion has also admitted he never really enjoyed his racing career and regrets taking it out on his wife Michaela - with whom he has daughters Danielle, 23, and Claudia, 20.
Carl told The Sun newspaper: "All my mates who raced really enjoyed racing, but I never did. I enjoyed winning but for such a small amount of time.
"I now realise winning had become an unhealthy obsession. The more I won, the more I had to win, it was crazy. I created a monster, it was horrible. But that person has gone now and I can enjoy this."
Heather Mills will reportedly take part in 'The Jump'.
The 46-year-old star - who is the ex-wife of Paul McCartney - is close to finalising a deal with Channel 4 bosses to join the latest series of the reality TV show, which see celebrities compete against each other in various winter sports including speed skating, slalom and ski jumping.
Heather - who lost part of her left leg in a motorcycle accident in 1993 - will join Zara Phillips' husband Mike Tindall and the Speaker's wife Sally Bercow on the Austrian slopes next month and is keen to join the show "on the same basis as able-bodied athletes".
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Bosses are still confirming the deal but she is expected to sign on the dotted line in the next few days before heading out to Austria to start practising.
"Heather is keen to take part on the same basis as able-bodied athletes.
"She loves a challenge and thinks 'The Jump' is a great platform."
The former model is already a keen skier and was ranked 28th in the world at slalom before unceremoniously quitting the UK disabled ski team last year following a spat with an official.
Heather reportedly screamed, 'You bitch', at International Paralympic Committee member Sylvana Mestre after she was told her footwear hadn't been approved for the competition.
Steve Brookstein has branded Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh "irrelevant".
The 46-year-old singer was the first ever winner of 'The X Factor' but his career bombed afterwards, but he has now come out to criticise show boss Simon and has called Louis - who has been a judge on every series - an "imbecile".
He told The Guardian: "Louis Walsh is a complete imbecile. He is a complete imbecile. What's he had? Westlife. Westlife!
"Louis Walsh is irrelevant, musically irrelevant. Simon Cowell is musically irrelevant."
Steve - who has just released his no-holds barred memoir 'Getting Over the X' - also revealed that when it came to his first album Simon's demeanour towards him totally changed from how he had been on the TV series.
Speaking about the 55-year-old music mogul, he explained: "He was extremely stern. I'd never seen him like it on 'X Factor'. It was cold - just, 'Look, this is how it's going to be.'
"Inside I'm thinking: who the f**k are you talking to? I don't take this s**t. But I thought: you know what, I'll give you one album. But you mess this up and we're falling out. I didn't want to go on 'The X Factor' and be made a fool of. And I thought, 'No, I'm not having this. 'Cos I know that the music I do is good."
The 'Doctor Who' Christmas special is the "buddy movie you've always wanted".
The hour-long episode of the BBC One sci-fi drama titled 'Last Christmas' sees the titular Time Lord meet Santa Claus and showrunner Steven Moffat has told fans to expect something "quite surprising".
The 53-year-old writer shared: "Well obviously as everyone knows from the end of 'Death in Heaven', it's the ultimate meeting of Christmas heroes; Santa Claus meets Doctor Who. The buddy movie you've always wanted.
"In addition to that, it's quite surprising - it won't be what some people expect because it's a thriller of an episode.
"The Christmas element is covered in the fairly notable form of Santa Claus and the elves and their sleigh. But the rest of it is very much 'Doctor Who' - scary, in a polar ice cap base, scientists under threat. I keep describing it as 'Miracle on 34th Street' meets 'Alien'."
Meanwhile, Peter Capaldi - who stars as the Time Lord alongside his companion Clara Oswald, played by Jenna-Louise Coleman - says the much-hyped new episode has a strong Christmas theme running through the storyline.
The 56-year-old actor said: "It's both really scary and really festive. It manages to be quite frightening and still have Santa Claus in it. It is extremely Christmassy but there is a plot line in it that is quite dark and I think Steven has done a brilliant job at balancing those two things.
"It's perfect for Christmas viewing - it supplies everything that 'Doctor Who' should supply at Christmas. It's scary but it leaves you feeling warm and cheerful."
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has hinted she may not return to 'The X Factor' next year.
The 31-year-old star has suggested she might not rejoin the judging panel on the ITV talent show next year, despite only returning to the role after a three year absence earlier this year.
Quizzed on whether she'll feature in the 2015 series, she said: "That's a question Simon [Cowell] would have to ask me himself.
"Then I would have to talk about it because it's been very emotional."
The brunette beauty saw her final act go home last weekend after 17-year-old Lauren Platt lost the sing-off to Italian crooner Andrea Faustini, and she's confessed it's been difficult to say goodbye to her contestants.
According to the Daily Star newspaper, she said: "You get attached, you try not to but we're human at the end of the day, you can't help but feel the emotion, it's tough.
"You've probably seen us shrinking week on week."
Meanwhile, Lauren has revealed Cheryl invited her over to her house last week to prepare her for the semi-finals.
She said previously: "She [Cheryl] is the most incredible, strongest woman I've ever met in my life.
"She's so hands-on - she had me around her house countless times this week preparing for whatever way the show might have gone this weekend.
"We had an Indian take away, we watched 'I'm A Celeb', had a massage..."
Beyonce and Jay Z met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in New York City last night (08.12.14).
Prince William and Catherine visited the Barclays Center in Brooklyn to watch a basketball game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Brooklyn Nets, and met up for a chat with the two pop stars between the third and fourth quarters of the game.
The music couple and royal couple were seen laughing and joking during their short get-together and were believed to have discussed the Brits' trip to New York as well as wishing each other well for the festive season.
An insider told People.com: "Jay Z wished Will and Kate 'Merry Christmas' when he was talking to them."
The loved-up couple - who are expecting their second baby in 2015, a sibling for Prince George - dressed casually for the game, with Catherine wrapping up in a grey Tory Burch coat and skinny jeans, while Prince William sported a blue and red plaid shirt.
Another onlooker described the moment Beyonce, 33, and Jay Z, 45, met the couple as a "mob scene".
The source told E! News: "Bey and Jay got up out of their seats during the break before the fourth quarter and walked across the court to say hi.
"Everyone was standing up and gawking. It's a mob scene around them."
William and Catherine - previously known as Kate Middleton - also met with basketball professional player LeBron 'King' James who later gushed about the meeting on his Instagram account.
Along with a picture of them chatting, he wrote: "This very moment will be forever remembered and put up in my house. It's all good and all smiles on this side."
Captioning a second image, he continued: "Wow what an Honor! This game has brought me so much and I'll never take it for granted! The King, "Duke & Duchess. (sic)"
The sports game is one of many events which the couple are visiting during their three day trip to the Big Apple, while Beyonce and Jay Z are busy trying to secure a deal on an estate in Beverly Hills worth $85 million.
Lady Gaga is getting in the festive spirit by decorating a Christmas tree for the first time for six years.
The pop superstar has been busy putting baubles and decorations on her tree and admits she had forgotten how much she enjoyed the Yule Tide tradition.
Writing on her Twitter account, she revealed: "I'm decorating a Christmas Tree myself for the first time in 6 years, so happy. we should never take it for granted the joy it brings!"
Gaga is due to spend Christmas in her native New York with her family, her long-term boyfriend Taylor Kinney and her pet French bulldog Asia.
In the build-up to the holiday season, the 'Applause' singer has already been spoiling her beloved mutt by treating the pooch to a French manicure.
She posted on Twitter: "A French manicure for my baby frenchie! She loves all the compliments pretty girl! (sic)"
Gaga is looking forward to a well-earned break over the Christmas holiday following the conclusion of her mammoth 'ArtRave: The Artpop Ball' world tour.
To celebrate the end of the tour - which finished in Paris, France, on November 24 - the 28-year-old musician threw a party at a bowling alley in Manchester, Northern England.
Dolly Parton is worried Reese Witherspoon's breasts are too small for her to play her in a biopic.
The country music legend is in discussions to have a film made about her life and she has had a conversation with her "dear friend" Reese about the actress portraying her on the big screen.
Dolly's huge boobs are as synonymous with her as her music and she worries the 38-year-old Hollywood star doesn't have a chest that can match hers, but Oscar winner Reese has come up with a solution.
In an interview on TV show 'Lorraine', the 'Blue Smoke' singer said: "Reese Witherspoon is a dear friend of mine, in fact I was with her last week and we were talking about doing some things together. We were talking about my life story, and I went, 'Well people always say to me, 'Why don't you get Reese Witherspoon (to play you).'' And I always say, 'Her boobs ain't big enough! I think she's too little to rag this around! I wouldn't put that on her.' But Reese said, 'Well, there's padding, I've got enough to do it!' I said, 'Well, we're talk about it.' "
There is also talk of a musical based on Dolly's incredible life and six-decade spanning career and the blonde star insists she's up for her story being told on stage and screen because there's enough "to go round".
She said: "There's a lot of my life to go round, I've lived a long time and I've lived fast, and I've lived good, and I've lived bad, let's put all that in a movie."
