FKA twigs doesn’t like having her photograph taken.
The 26-year-old singer, who released her debut album ‘1LP’ in August and has been dating Hollywood star Robert Pattinson in recent months, has been named Vogue magazine’s next Breakout Style Star – but she insists she remains uncomfortable being photographed.
She confessed: "Sometimes I really struggle having my picture taken."
Since the launch of her music career and her relationship with the ‘Twilight’ star, FKA – whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett – has grown more familiar with the glare of fame.
And the musician says she’s determined to continue to experiment and do new things in all areas of her life, not just with her taste in fashion.
She told the magazine: "I want to learn to tango, but I wouldn’t seek it out – I’ll wait to meet someone off the street who could teach me.
"You have to give a part of yourself to a particular culture rather than just borrow [inspiration] from it or enjoy looking cool because you’re there.
"Everything you reference, you need to give back to it in some way."
Earlier this week, it was reported that Robert, 28, was eager to buy a property in North London that featured a dance studio, where his girlfriend could perfect her moves.
