Nikki Sanderson had to have her tooth "rebuilt" following a drunken night out.
The ‘Hollyoaks’ actress was celebrating a double awards win when she took a tumble and dislodged one of her gnashers.
She said: "I won Best Actress and Best Storyline at an awards do and had a few drinks after.
"I went to get in the lift, fell over, and knocked half my tooth out.
"They had to rebuild it."
The 35-year-old star – who plays Maxine Kinsella in the soap – gets "nervous" on the red carpet so is always happy when her boyfriend Greg Whitehurst is by her side.
She told new! magazine: "He’s quite a calming influence. He sees how nervous I get.
"He’ll poke me in my side to make me laugh so I loosen up."
But the couple do prefer a night in to going out.
Nikki said: "We’re really happy – we’re just like any normal couple.
"We’ve gone from going out all the time to enjoying sitting in and putting the telly on with a glass of wine and chilling out.
"I don’t know if that’s old age but we love it…
"Greg’s a really good cook so he’ll make a lovely dinner and then we’ll sit in front of the TV and put a box set or a film on."
Nikki has "relaxed" her diet and exercise regime and though she is no longer at her "peak", she’s happy and enjoying her life.
She said: "Last year I was going to the gym and working out quite a lot.
"This year, I’ve relaxed quite a lot.
"I’m happy but I’m not at peak fitness like I was before.
"I’m just chilling out, eating and drinking wine and living my best life."
